@@wanderlustwarrior they arent exclusives though. They’re available on 3/4 routes. I mean characters like the lords, hubert, dedue, Jeritza, and Gilbert. The only character thats exclusive to GD is Claude which is a crying shame when Judith and Nader are RIGHT THERE.

Ashe is my favorite, but I am use to people hating him sadly. People just sleep on a very well-written character, same for Ingrid. People just judge those 2 very quickly and don't try to understand them, and I feel Petra is great.

It's a miracle he didn't go insane at any point. He may be a goody-two-shoes, but his resolve has been tested enough that it's impossible to mistaken his resolve for naivete. Plus his support with Dedue are adorable! Blue Lions really does has the most best boys.
He's sooo nice! Playing the BL route and seeing him react to losing Lonato is so sad but great in terms of being interestinf but he knows he must move on. It's part of why I hate his Catherine support. Catherine just teaches him to indulge her masochism and ruin him. God I hate it so much.
I did GD route first and did everything I could to get Ashe on my side because I just kinda fell in love with how sweet he was. He ended up becoming one of the MVP's after all of the shit and class changes i threw at him
Ashe is like Annette without the goofy songs and clumsiness. He's an absolute cinnamon roll and his freckles are so darn cute but I guess people into the 'must-protect-waifu' characters won't appreciate his straightforward preciousness.
this comment is 3 years old but.. honestly all that loss perfectly explains to me as to why he just VANISHES in the "where are they now?" credits, if he falls in battle before timeskip he might have died or might not, but he spiraled for sure without any confidence in his abilities (being defeated), nor any support pillars left to ground him
someone else pointed this out before but i love how he goes from picking apart every member of the black eagles and their flaws to "yes these are all my dumb children now and i will use their power to kill you"
I married Sothis in my first playthrough because I was under the impression that she was part of me and that she would never come back so I would effectively marry myself but no she just came back, and that's the story of how I tried to marry myself and accidentally married a child.
Not only that but he actually is an amazing character. He’s what actual religious people SHOULD be like. I especially love his support with Felix where he talks about Felix’s anger. The Leonie one is amazing too.
M Byleth is S tier for me. I don't dislike F Byleth but she doesn't fit the role of an emotionless, Ashen Demon, Mercenary turned Professor nearly as well as M Byleth. She would be B tier for me.
It’s just my opinion but personally I think male byleth is the “canon” (in a very loose sense of the word) protagonist for every route except blue lions. It’s hard to describe but those paths just fit him better. And I’d say the interactions between dimitri and female byleth work slightly better. Idk, I know no-one asked
Rodrigue and Judith being way more interesting/charismatic/relevant characters in their respective routes but instead we got Gilbert as the only playable one. A rightful F tier
rodrigue i understand not being playable for the same reason as Jeralt and what happens to him in the AM route. but Judith not being playable is straight up criminal
Leonie is actually top tier when she shuts the hell up about Jeralt. There was a paralogue with her where she doesn't mention Jeralt even once, and her actual personality and capabilities really shine.
@Merciless Freak I think she's great. Like when she patches up a torn up bag, it looks ugly but she doesn't care cuz it still works and doesn't wanna put it to waste. The way she casually addresses a giant god monster as "Mr Magic Beast". How humble she acts when she actually gets her hands on The Inexhaustible. She really shows how a Commoner who doesn't care much for deities would think and act.
The writing really does her a disservice when a lot of her monastery dialogues just HAVE TO mention Jeralt. There are still some good moments when she does talk about Jeralt, and I think that part of her still adds to her character positively, but the emphasis the game places on it is too much too often.
@@thedontpanic if you look at her support with other people especially people outside of the golden deer house she almost never mentions Jeralt. This is just another case of someone not liking a character off the bat so they never indulge in the character’s deeper personality which is understandable but makes you miss so many things. Leonie is actually a really good character. She has no weaknesses which makes her in my opinion one of the best units in the entire game and she genuinely is really nice and considerate to others. Super passionate about their interest and always eager to learn more and grow. Her supports with others reflects that. Wish people didn’t degrade her to a Jeralt simp even though it’s easy to do
@@abnormalsaniaa Hey, don't get me wrong, I love Leonie a ton too. I've made the exact same point you have before, and I think her supports are really good. But I even I have to admit that the monastery dialogues often do the rest of her character a disservice. I hate that people just reduce her character, but the game kind of does it too.
Bro, Raphael is just such a sweetheart, I fucking love him. He's the himbo to end all himbos, he's just perfectly normal and well adjusted dude in the middle of all weirdos, he's great.
And his character is so good! He just wants friends but people are either intimidated by him due to his size or are worried that he may hold a grudge! We don’t deserve Raphael’s kindness! He’s the sunshine that the game needs!
@@thethantasticthea3385 Yes, and I love that when Ignatz presumes he's angry about how his parents got killed because of Ignatz's family, he just goes explains that it was an accident, he doesn't hold him accountable and is his dear friend. It could have so easily been the "my parent's got killed because of you, I'll never forgive you"-plot, but Rafael is just way too nice and understanding for that.
@@daleketchup7434 I love how aggressively friendly he is. Like his support with Marianne is just purest thing in the world. Raphael getting her to laugh by trying to talk to bird is just cutest thing ever. It feels so natural that Rafael would go and do something so silly just because he wants her to be more open and at ease
You may not agree with Sungwon's picks. But don't forget the words of the wise church daddy. "As unwavering as your convictions may be, the others also feel strongly about their beliefs. If you hate all those whose beliefs are different from yours, you will hate everyone eventually."
I don't even know much about Fire Emblem, but I know that Gatekeeper is precious an just want to make you happy, and that's more than enough to make him SSS tier
Personally I feel like Sylvain is one of the characters the writers put most depth in, a clear S tier and my most favorite character of all time. Unfortunately I feel like the fandom easily misses the most interesting parts about him, and the depth the writers have actually given him, because it's not as clearly communicated as with other characters like Dimitri or Bernadetta. He's received quite a few exceptions that aren't explicitly pointed out, so I don't really blame anyone, but least people actually take the time to "read" into this. He's still pretty popular, but also highly misunderstood which makes me a little sad. But wow boy do I love him.
Cyril SHOULD be an interesting character but the writers don't seem to understand how fucked up his situation is. It's very sad but no one realizes it? The hell
I really wanted to like Cyril, yunno? But in the end he has two personality traits (one of them is liking Rhea and the other is working hard) which add up to very little. The writing IS him, so I'm not inclined to find him more interesting because of his tragic backstory. Honestly, he just serves to make Rhea more interesting and that's about it
Personally I still like Cyril because I feel despite his bluntness he still looks out for others and cares for them outside of Rhea. (Ex: Ashe, Lysithea, Claude, Petra) I guess as someone who’s an immigrant I related to some of the stuff he went through in terms of suddenly being in another country plus the shit Hilda said to him in their C support. I think it was more on the writers than Cyril himself because they have a good plot line for him that correlates to Claude. His situation his extremely screwed up from being a child soldier, to being a slave, and feeling you’re indebted to someone who doesn’t nearly care for you as much all up to the age of 14.
Cyril is really good, and I think he is the most interesting in Golden Deer and through his supports with those characters (especially Lysithea). The fact that he's an Almyran comes up way more there and Claude will even kind of jokingly champion him for his cause of unity and it works surprisingly well. He has a bit more to his personality than most give him credit for and I think just because he appears as a simpler character doesnt mean he's a bad one. He honestly is one of my favorites because of what I stumbled upon on accident with him, Claude, Lysithea, and just the subtleties in his character. Him still wanting to be a wyvern rider because that was a tradition back home was really touching and it shows that he still has that link to his culture/homeland despite the fact that he resents them for being orphaned. I believe while he appears one note because of his blind gratitude to Rhea, he's got a lot more to him than a lot of the other "I love Rhea" characters
Also I don't think I've ever seen anyone question the fact that Rhea never taught him how to read or write, so he's pretty much a slave but he doesn't see it like that
I understand people not vibing with Ignatz but it always breaks my heart when they just really hate the kid. He just wants to make others happy and be a good boy...poor guy...
He’s such an amazing character! People just see his haircut and C supports and decide they hate him and don’t give him a second chance. He’s so kind and caring for others, his B support with Marianne is genuinely precious. Plus his character growth from school to war phase is so drastic but in a natural way, seeing cute little anxious Ignatz suddenly war-hardened and not caring much about killing people is such a shock, I wish more people gave him a chance Sorry, I’m a bit passionate about him
He's still my least favorite character, but he's better than D tier. I just think Ashe did what Ignatz did "much" better in my opinion. He could talk to people much easier and his romances were far more believable.
I was about to leave and angry comment but I remembered the meaninglessness of getting angry at someone I'll never meet so I left an angry like and got out
But....but ...lord Lonato....fucking shut up Ashe no one gives a shit even as we were murdering him. Its like 85% of his dialogue the rest is " my brothers and sister" " i was poor and a thief" " i hope to be a great knight one day" so boring easily the worst three houses character.
Cyril's only saving grace is the fact that he shamelessly burns Manuela to the ground in their support. Manuela (rhetorically): Cyril, what's wrong with me??! Cyril: **Tells her exactly what's wrong with her** And also: 🅱️appy.
I admit his rankings break my heart cause I’m the person who likes all the characters (except Gilbert cause Annette deserves better). He comes off as the type to like characters who are more complex so it makes sense he would not like more one off nice characters like Ashe, Petra, or Ignatz. I’m just happy he likes Marianne, Claude, and Bernadetta.
Not every character needs a deep meaningful story. And even those three have their own motives and little backgrounds. Ashe is a thief turned adopted son who had a tragic childhood providing for his little siblings and who has no choice but to watch his father figure die and even contribute to it, Petra is a kidnapped princess who was forced to adapt to a different culture and a different language all this while having a metaphorical knife at her neck and Ignaz, well first he's a good son who is putting his family before his own desires and it's great that throughout the game he realises that he matters too, his desires and his passions matter and he shouldn't have to give them up for his family.
@@SilverxWingx Oh I personally think Petra, Ignatz, and Ashe are interesting characters and their kind and sweet personalities makes them really good people in my eyes. I think Prozd didn’t bother to think much more of them beyond first impressions which I can’t really fault him as much as that’s sad to me. Plus I noticed from his videos he tends to favor female characters more so Ashe and Ignatz were doomed from the start. Also compared to characters like Edelgard, Felix, or Dimtri they aren’t as obviously complex at first so if they don’t grab your attention they come off as more one note.
@@strawberryymango Felix isn't all that complex, he hates Dimitri because he got his brother killed plus he saw him in a blood frenzy, he hates his dad because he paid more attention to Dimitri than him and didn't believe him when he told him Dimitri needed his head checked. Mostly i bet he liked him 'cause felix is a shithead tsundere, which is honestly the reason why everyone loves Felix xD
@@SilverxWingx I won’t deny the tsundere thing is an appealing thing about Felix. I personally like him cause he’s a tsundere character who has reasons and depth for being one and it’s not portrayed as particularly a good thing. Ingrid and Seteth are some characters who call him out on his behavior and Felix learns to open up more about his feelings through his supports with them.
@@SilverxWingx there’s so much more to felix though. he doesn’t even spite dimitri for what happened to his brother, he’s disgusted with dimitri’s bloodlust which was only apparent to him for the longest time. and he hated his father for writing off glenn’s death as something honourable rather than the tragedy it was. i think the key to understanding felix is first understanding why he’s a “shithead tsundere”, as he clearly wasn’t one as a child. felix is a realist whilst also simultaneously being one of the more sensitive characters in the cast (which he even implies himself) and it gives him a level of depth that makes him both relatable and lovable. the guy’s a lot more than just a tsundere and both his supports and dialogue in AM make that very clear
Gomez's personality is not that he loves Morticia, but rather, Gomez's personality consists of a specific set of traits (enthusiasm for life, open-mindedness, casual disregard for societal norms, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to see people as they really are) which allow him to maintain an exceptionally healthy relationship with Morticia and his family. Gomez's personality is non-toxic masculinity personified
Would've enjoyed support conversations between Marianne and Mercedes Mercedes: Hey Marriane, are you here to pray? Marianne:Y-yes, I try to pray to the goddess at least once a day Mercedes: Really, I pray to the goddess at least SEVERAL times a day *Marianne deathstares*
Dude Ingrid and Petra seemed like they were gonna be training buddies and rivals. Every class has like one athletic girl. It would've be cool seeing them discuss their differences and disagreements (namely Ingrid's discrimination).
Marianne: What are you praying about? Mercedes: I'm thanking the goddess that the church helped me in my time of need. You? Marianne: Oh, I'm praying to die.
Hanneman is actually an interesting character with more depth to him than meets the eye. This is especially evident in his supports with Edelgard, Marianne, Dorothea and Lysithea. He’s a high B possibly even A for me.
@@whimsicalchronicles8798 In his supports with Edelgard he divulges the true reasons for why he is so interested in crests and it’s because he actually hates them due to the suffering they cause and how they’re abused by the nobility. This stems from a personal experience of his sister dying due to her having a crest and being married off for political gain. He also hates how crests are used as an excuse to keep crestless and commoners at the bottom of the social hierarchy. He devoted his life to researching crests with the aim of doing away with their significance by allowing everyone to have access to crests so they are no longer special to achieve a similar effect to Edelgard seeking to get rid of them entirely. His supports with Lysithea, Marianne and Dorothea show a much more empathetic and emotional side to him as well. It’s easy to write him off at first glance as a boring scholar obsessed with crests. But by delving a bit deeper you can see he’s surprisingly layered.
@@whimsicalchronicles8798 one of the best things about this game is that if you think a character is boring, you probably just haven't seen their best supports. Especially when it comes to supports between different houses' members. Lysithea and Edelgard was a great example, as they both suffer from multiple crests and the torture of having one forcefully embedded in them as kids. And that's just one of many many examples that I have yet to even discover
@@pearsemolloy9656 slight correction, Hanneman’s sister was one of the few people in his family who DIDN’T have a Crest. The one who married her didn’t know that, and so he tried in vain to have a child with a Crest with a woman who didn’t have one.
@Merciless Freak Ashe is cool. He isn't amazing, but he's a relatively normal character in a house full of people with tragic pasts. He's got his Lonato stuff, but otherwise he's just some guy
@Merciless Freak I just saw Dedue as Dimitri’s robot sidekick and that’s about it. He never really did anything interesting in my eyes. Ashe was just plainly likable and actually felt like a real person when I talked to him.
@Merciless Freak I watched all Dedues supports and he always just seemed like Dimitri’s robot sidekick. He never felt like he was even a character. I just don’t get what’s likable about him.
His reasoning behind it was kinda fucked. He made fun of her for how she talks yet didnt even mention where shes from which is why she talks like that. Like does he make fun of everybody that speaks broken english? Hope not
Everyone loves to hate on Ingrid for being slightly racist due to childhood trauma but then just conveniently forgets about Hilda "Almyrans are lazy savages" Goneril
Man. I missed that conversation at some point. People in the comments keep pointing out that Hilda is also racist. I remember Hilda being a lazy girl that cons people into doing things for her by taking advantage of the fact most people think she's ditzy and kinda hot and plays those aspects of herself up.
Like irl, it’s pretty easy to miss the fact Hilda’s covertly/subconsciously racist. Growing up right next to the border in a family praised for keeping invading Almyrans out, she was bound to absorb some negative stereotypes. And I only realized this in Hilda x Cyril’s support conversation, it’s one of my most favorites but also underrated in the game
Advocating the genocide of an entire nation is not “slightly racist”. Ingrid is actively racist while Hilda is subconsciously racist. That’s why people overlook it.
People really need to learn the difference between 'racism' and 'nationalism'. She hates a nations people for what she perceives them to have done, not for their very existence.
Gilbert is literally the worst father ever. Abandoned his family and couldn’t even give Annette a proper apology in their support conversations. I hated his character so much.
Ignatz is a good boy :( His arc and struggles are much more grounded and real than most of the fantastical cast tho so i can see why some would consider him boring (or Ingrid who has a similar struggle but somehow has less spine than even preskip Iggy). Also you can straight up hear his development in his voice acting and the pure steel he has post timeskip. Also hes one of my favorite units to use in maddening so thats def a factor LMAO
I play with Japanese voices and his Japanese voice actor does an amazing job for him, he sounds so cute and sweet. Yeah he's a nerd and I can't even be mad at ProZD's rationale, I thought it was really funny, but Ignatz is seriously an A to an S tier for me hes just cute and sweet and I like him.
Dude Ignatz is my favorite character for a ton of reasons and I came into this video expecting to be hurt but it was even worse than I thought it would be :( And my god, the voice acting. Christian La Monte fucking owns at conveying his journey. His kill line "I wasn't about to let you go," made me realize this boy has GROWN UP.
He's a lovable dweeb, especially how he goes full dork mode when interacting with the girls. He's like "Uh... Um... I'm sorry I just... I just wanted to say" "DAYUM GIRL YOU THICC AS FUCK SSSSS" "I'm Sorry! I don't know what came over me!"
_"Ashe is boring"_ I dunno dude, Ashe holding onto the personality that he has both during and after one of the worst wars the continent has seen, whilst also having to fight/fought his old friends, speaks volumes to me.
I was expecting his combat with his dad to be interesting, and it ends up kinda not. He’s pretty one note, but I found him kinda interesting, at least compared to other one note characters.
@@crabbyboi7416 Ashe has to deal with so much shit but still manages to keep his personality being happy and optimistic is what makes him interesting. He gets orphaned at like 10. Has to be a parent to two younger siblings and become a thief. Gets adopted by a noble, then his new older brother figure gets killed. He then has to kill his new adopted figure (or watch him die at the hands of his class/schoolmates). Then comes the war, and it all just shows how strong of a will and how good of a guy he really is. Literally any part of that is enough to bring down anyone else.
His ratings for Ashe and Ignatz will not go over well lol. Also, Ingrid is so underrated by the fanbase. She was easily an A tier character for me. She has struggles, actual growth, and a lot of her supports, particularly the ones with Claude and Sylvain, are hilarious and cute. Plus, she makes an excellent pegasus rider.
Ingrid's designs are great too. At first I didn't like getting rid of the long braid in the post timeskip, but its grown on me so much that I weirdly prefer it. Both are really good though.
@@zeldrio6079 I think I still prefer her first look, but like you said, they're both great. The cape with the fur lining and the armour combo in the time-skip outfit looks really sharp.
Same girl same. I did GD on my first play through and worked my ass off to get him on my side and he became the MVP on the team in the process. You deserve better sweet Ashe
Ingrid is one of those "you're not like most (insert slur), you're one of the good ones" only because you did something for her. She totally says "Duscur" with a hard R. -Hilda, I'll trust Claude's judgment on. EDIT: whoops, nevermind, see below- EDIT: Following some response comments, I rewatched the Hilda/Cyril support. I'd forgotten it, since it was actually one of the first I ever watched. She was indeed that same kind of racist, but the difference is on all versions of her native route (not just supporting with one person in particular), she actually grows against her many faults on her own. And didn't need someone repeatedly risking their lives for her to do it, even on their support chain. That said, I still don't like Hilda as a person, but as a character, I'd put her as a B at best. Probably a C. Ingrid is at best a D, because Sylvain improves her standing.
I like Lorenz because he does have a character arc. You think his rigidity is because of his snobbishness, but it's the opposite. He sees being a Noble as this duty and obligation. He even states he wishes he could marry for love, but traditions dictate marriage is more of a political tool. And while he butts heads with Claude, people forget that Lorenz was going to lead the Alliance before Claude came into the picture. He doesn't see Claude as a usurper, but as someone who is not prepared to lead nor understands Fodlan and it's people. But he lets that go when he realizes Claude is capable and more importantly, a good person. Lorenz is a good dude, even if he has a foot fetish.
I would've like constance's split personality deal if it wasn't just some stupid sunlight thing and just being super depressed outside of the Abyss. It'd be like that one person who acts super high and mighty around friends where they feel they can be accepted, and once they're out in the open all that just falls apart. Real missed opportunity...
I healed Gilbert with Annette in the mission where he's first introduced as a combat unit, and his response was, "Thank you, stranger!" It was at this moment that I decided that Gilbert was worth approximately zero percent of my already limited shits-to-give
I can at least find Ingrid’s racism a bit understandable (it’s still wrong). Her fiance was killed while fighting people from another country so it’s understandable that she would resent them. Also isn’t a her entire story with dedue about her learning to let go of her resentment towards Duscur? Maybe I’m remembering wrong so please correct me if I am.

@@jenf.8011 Byleth only finishes as a 26 year old, and that's if you include all the time in the timeskip as years lived, which technically you shouldn't

I think it's important to acknowledge that Ingrid goes through some important character development where she unlearns her racism. Which isn't something you see everyday in... well, any media. But I think her story has a lot to teach young gamers who otherwise wouldn't stop to analyze their own bigotry and it was very bold of the writers to include in the game.
May I ask... when does she unlearn her racism. In her support with Dedue she goes "while racism is right but I suppose you're an exception". Did I miss it somewhere, it seemed like she moved to a 8/10 racist to a 7/10 racist

He's sooo nice! Playing the BL route and seeing him react to losing Lonato is so sad but great in terms of being interestinf but he knows he must move on. It's part of why I hate his Catherine support. Catherine just teaches him to indulge her masochism and ruin him. God I hate it so much.
Idk i just don't care about him.

Yep, sums up how the fans are with the Byleths
MByleth with glasses and summer wear is most professor Professor, though.

We got robbed in broad daylight on a tuesday 😔

Honestly, he just serves to make Rhea more interesting and that's about it
@@rock9154 In JP he is a tsundere as well, they completely removed that from the EN version it seems

To be fair though he isn’t really that interesting when compared with so many other dynamic characters
I can't believe he gave both Chadicus AND Bradicus a C tier. C for very cool.
Cyril's only saving grace is the fact that he shamelessly burns Manuela to the ground in their support.
Manuela (rhetorically): Cyril, what's wrong with me??!
Cyril: **Tells her exactly what's wrong with her**
And also: 🅱️appy.
That’s why I love Cyril. He’s not anything special he’s just no nonsense and his supports are great.
His supports with Lysithea and Hilda are great too
I got that support for the first time the other day and nearly choked. Cyril is just so brutally blunt and I love it so much
I feel like people focus too much on how much he wants to support Rhea. He has a buch of great supports, and he even challenges Claude's beliefs.
It's basically like this:
Before supports: Man, i hate this kid
*Sees him roast the fuck out of everyone*
This kid is amazing
Prozd: [Appreciates the Hubert]
Me: Ah, I see you too are a man of culture
"Liking someone a lot is not a personality."
Yo I generally agree with this, and can't help but muse that Gomez Addams is a shining exception

Hanneman is actually an interesting character with more depth to him than meets the eye. This is especially evident in his supports with Edelgard, Marianne, Dorothea and Lysithea. He’s a high B possibly even A for me.
hanneman's personality is literally
>obsessed with crests
>obsessed with keeping things tidy and clean
>argues with manuela constantly
>???
I just finished my playthrough and I really liked Ingrid. She grows as a person and sees the faults in her bigoted ways of thinking.

_"Ashe is boring"_
I dunno dude, Ashe holding onto the personality that he has both during and after one of the worst wars the continent has seen, whilst also having to fight/fought his old friends, speaks volumes to me.
Ashe is more interesting than most characters in the other houses.

He then has to kill his new adopted figure (or watch him die at the hands of his class/schoolmates). Then comes the war, and it all just shows how strong of a will and how good of a guy he really is. me, who married him in my first playthrough: *and i took that personally*
Same girl same. I did GD on my first play through and worked my ass off to get him on my side and he became the MVP on the team in the process. You deserve better sweet Ashe
felix & dedue s tier: nice
ashe d tier: not nice
I cried man, I cried..
Obligatory angry at Petra ranking comment.
"Felix! This little shithead! Uhhhh we're gonna give you an S tier" same
I love that this is now Holst ranking all his allies
It’s 2021 and it was so refreshing to hear someone talk about fire emblem 3h
Ingrid getting a D and Hilda getting an S made me go hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Ingrid is racist tho, thats no bueno
Boring racist vs Booba racist
You right.
CUZ HILDA'S A SSS TIER BB
Hilda! Hilda! Hilda!
I totally agreed with those two
Ingrid is one of those "you're not like most (insert slur), you're one of the good ones" only because you did something for her.
She totally says "Duscur" with a hard R.
-Hilda, I'll trust Claude's judgment on. EDIT: whoops, nevermind, see below-
EDIT: Following some response comments, I rewatched the Hilda/Cyril support.
*Happy FE3H obsessed person noises*
Edit: Yay, someone else actually likes Lorenz-
Lorenz is Ferdinand but not loyal
He did Yuri dirty tho :c
Lorenz is very very fun! I'm surprised he's not well liked in the community
Lorenz is a giant nerd
I ship him hard with marianne 😊
I healed Gilbert with Annette in the mission where he's first introduced as a combat unit, and his response was, "Thank you, stranger!"
It was at this moment that I decided that Gilbert was worth approximately zero percent of my already limited shits-to-give
Development Oversight maybe?
@@pilot_aki Definitely, but it was just a little thing that made me go, "Gilbert!!!" when it happened, and in retrospect is kind of hilarious.
“In terms of hottie mommies: Why isn’t she playable”
wow Petra and starfire fans are going to try and hunt you down now ashe fans to I guess
Both are the best characters from their respective series.
I like Petra and I agree. Her fake accent is super annoying.
@@thyfity I am not with the agreeing with you your banished be gone
I love Petra. I married her in my last playthrough
I swear to god if he calls Ingrid racist but Hilda not
I got some news brother. We've been done dirty.
@@MrSharpShooterMan77 It seems so
Considering that he doesn't give a fuck about Cyril (and deservedly so) he most likely never had his support convo between Hilda and Cyril.
@@FabschOblivion669 Cyril gets done so dirty by the writing that people don't even notice when their favorite hot valley girl just casually starts throwing micro-aggressions in his face
My lad deserved better
Hilda is appropriately rated S, for Savagely Slaughtering enemies with her axe.
Hilda is the best and it's not particularly close to me. She's probably the most OP unit that's not a House leader and all of her support skits are hilarious
@@slyguy183 Felix, Cathrine and Lisithea want to know your location.
@@slyguy183 Ferdinand, Sylvain, and Balthus would also like to know your location.
While Staying Sinfully Silent about Strenuous Situations.
Hypocrisy since she's a bigger racist than Ingrid
Mercedes is S tier! She's so sweet and her supports with everyone are great! and she's surprisingly funny
Yes! Especially her A supports with everyone, most of all Jeritza
Edelgard at S tier, you love to see it
Thank you for giving Linhardt an A tier, I’m happy.
Yes I agree
The pain of seeing Yuri at B tier was made up by seeing Seteth and Edelgard at S tier
I am far too happy that Dedue is S-tier. He is my absolute favorite character (and character-romance) in that whole game.
I still feel a bit awkward that the romance-able characters are as young as they are. Even post time skip it feels weird being their ‘older ex-teacher’, ngl.
Also; Seteth is STRONG second place romance for Female Byleth in my personal opinion.
Although he might take first place if I think about it long enough.
Their are multiple students older than Byleth tho
A lot of characters are holder than Byleth tho. Like being legit here, feels a bit weird im their ex-teacher. But in terms of age a lot of students are probably older
@oakley raverty @UltraMM950
Are there? I could swear I saw a picture with a line-up of their canon ages, and even Hubert is younger than Byleth by a year. I *think* the only one who’s older is Mercedes.
@@jenf.8011 Byleth only finishes as a 26 year old, and that's if you include all the time in the timeskip as years lived, which technically you shouldn't
The Petra score is unforgivable😂😂
Started it off right with Edelgard in S tier. Nothing I can complain about here.
We appreciate your multiple play throughs to truly make this list as scientific and accurate as possible. We don’t deserve you sir.
honestly people who didn't play all 4 routes, didn't play the game at all.
@@darkgrundi9543 There is lots of repetition, honestly
But yea you should play all post DLC routes for sure
Plot twist: he’s listing the orders these characters will be put in smash
?
A lot of them are already in it
@@iamnotanorange6020 I believe only one of these characters are in Smash, and that’s Byleth
@@samuel030s I think you need to pay closer attention to byleth’s stage background.
Ha ha ha ha ha. You are soooooo funny it's unbelievable.
He really did Ashe dirty like that? Time skip Ashe is the hottest character in the game hands down, and he's so sweet.
I second that
I mean I love Ashe but he’s just sweet, not really a complex character
Though he’s the cutest and purest boy
@@chasefurlong5407 Ashe is disappointed in you
Best Boy Ashe gang rise up!
Ashe is SO boring, I completely understand his ranking.
SungWon: "You can't really hate Caspar"
You don't know this fandom at all, do you?
I think Caspar's cute and I STILL hate him.
I pretty much have the same kind of opinion about him that SungWon has about Felix, he's a shithead but I still like him. His support with Ashe legitimately made me angry though lmao.
I've only played BL (just got the game).and failed to recruit Caspar. I love him from the outside. Why do people hate him?
people hate caspar????
I think it's important to acknowledge that Ingrid goes through some important character development where she unlearns her racism. Which isn't something you see everyday in... well, any media. But I think her story has a lot to teach young gamers who otherwise wouldn't stop to analyze their own bigotry and it was very bold of the writers to include in the game.
May I ask... when does she unlearn her racism. In her support with Dedue she goes "while racism is right but I suppose you're an exception". Did I miss it somewhere, it seemed like she moved to a 8/10 racist to a 7/10 racist
Ingrid admitting she has prejudices and being nice to Dedue is not unlearning her racism
When does she have this revelation ??? It’s certainly NOT in her Dedue supports
'Unlearn' has got to be most Orwellian non-word I have seen in a while
Do we learn this on her support? Right now I'm in post time skip and her conversations are about makeup, training and stuff like that
