Getting to see my first foo fighters concert in a few weeks in Dallas. This is a bucket list concert for me since they rarely tour around West Virginia
Was there. Awesome concert, my first one actually. I was in general admission on the floor behind the VIP mosh pit. Even tho we were kinda far away from the stage, it was still an incredible show. The anticipation for Everlong was high, especially cause I heard there was a rumour that they weren’t gonna play it. So me and my friend were patiently waiting in that crowd for that riff to play. Oh and when it did, me and him literally screamed at each other. You can probably hear us in that video lmao. Incredible show, my voice was gone afterwards.
Ohhh man, I was so happy to be there, seeing it again and so close is just awesome! It was hot af but it was so good! Glad I was able to see them and I definitely will try to get tickets when they come back.
I was there. It was my first time seeing foo fighters live and better yet, my first real concert ever! It was the best night of my life. Hearing Everlong at the end of the night, one of my favourite songs of all time was a priceless experience. When they come back to Australia, I will definitely be going back aswell. Also, one of their opening bands, Hot Milk, were awsome. Never heard of them before, but after hearing some of their songs, they won me over. Great band.
Took my son there the other night, first concert he’s been to! So funny when they finished their set and he got up to walk out, I’m like “sit down, they’ll be back out, have t played ever long yet” 😂 first introduction to an encore 🤙 Never missed a fooies concert in 15 years but this crowd was awesome 👍 great moment
I was there too bro, we had tickets for the tour before and when Taylor passed away I thought I’d never see the Foo’s play live, so I was super pumped for the show. This was the one song I really wanted to hear, but, also didn’t want to hear because it meant it was over. I actually really wanted to hear white limo, and I saw the set list and it was on it, I was crazy excited, but they dropped it!!!
@@thesausage351 Same deal, we had tickets for when Taylor was still with us and I was praying they didn't split up before I got the chance to see them. Now my goal is to see 'em again.
@@kakman1958 yep me too, my daughter wants to come this time too. I’m so tempted to buy a cheap drone and make a sign up saying white limo and fly it up to the stage so if you see that, you’ll know who did it, right before they boot me out haha.
I was there on Saturday. In years gone by I used to try to get as close to the stage as possible, but without having to be at the front of the queue 5 hours before the gig starts. Then someone invented the smartphone, and suddenly, as soon as the band starts playing, all the phones go up and you can't see anything. So I learned to stand a bit further back, so that when the phones go up, you can still see the band playing on the stage. You would think that having to stand further back would piss me off, but it doesn't. You see, I get to enjoy the gig without worrying about recording it for posterity. All I have to do is find a channel like Nick's to relive the moment. Thanks Nick! 😉
Oh I enjoy the gig, I live for live music, 1st at the stadium, i do this for those that cant attend the gig or want to relive it. Thank you for interacting and giving the algorithm a boost ❤
I was there. I took my 13 year old to her first big stadium gig. She had a ball, not just because she is a hard core music fan. She now knows that in an otherwise sometimes shitty world that 75000 people can be one big loving community. A random group of 6 strangers helped me keep an eye on her, jostling for a position so she could always have sight of her heroes and just being decent human beings. I don't think it's a stretch to say this is in large part to Dave Grohl being the coolest Dude in Rock and Roll who fosters goodwill and harmony. To Kiwi Ben and his cohorts, if you happen to read this comment I thank you again for having your back on Saturday. As an aside, the highlight for me was the drum tech singing Big Balls 👍
Hello Foo Fighters. I hope you guys are all right. You're always great. When can we hear you again, Misters? We miss you...! I hope see you soon. I wish you the best for this New Year, especially, happines, health, love and of course, a lots of your good music! I love you FF! Great spot. I'm envious i couldnt get that close
Dave, thank YOU for coming back again and again, mate. We always show love to a bands that braves the 18+ hr flight.. many dont. Legend!
They are all legends. Dave is awesome and Josh is like clockwork. Sad, I wasn’t at this one, but hearing this in 2015 was spine tingling.

@@nickyrodriguez95 And you ruin the experience for those standing just behind you. Well done!
Josh freese is an amazing drummer. I've loved his style in every band hes drummed for. Hes a great fit for foo fighters.
I noticed that he’s really fast, probably because of his punk background, but damn man Taylor really punished the drums and hit so much harder.
I was there, Dave waved to Me at the end of the concert and I wish Taylor was there too.
Finally, I can say I was there last Saturday but in section 627 row 28😂 still worth it besides the distance.
Seeing them in Christchurch Jan 2024. Can’t wait!
Thanks for sharing. I was there and it was an awesome show!! Foo Fighters Forever 🤘
Same! It was awesome. As always!
I went too. Such an Insane concert. Never seen a crowd like that before for a gig
sounds good,drums are awesome.
The bass was very high in the mix during the Aus tour. I liked it.
Awesome footage!!! Thank you!! Saw them in Adelaide and absolutely loved it !!!

In my opinion Dave has aged since Taylor. I've lost friends. It ages you.
How was it? Sounded amazing from what ive heard I couldn't make it im hoping to go next year or year after if they come.
Best gig of 2023
I don't remember Keyboard in the Foo Fighters songs
Rami was going along with them on tours for like 20 years and then was made an official Foo a few years back in maybe 2020 or so.
"cheers in austrailian accent"
Taylor forever
