I have a 300L and I just bought one of these little 125FB's to play around on in my back yard. It's small enough that the rest of my family isn't as intimidated by it but at the same time it is much more capable than I expected. So far I'm really enjoying the 125.
I have a teenage son, he is 5'11", 150 lbs, he is a great skier (handles double blacks like a pro, nerves of steel, makes good decisions). I've gotten weary of the expense of ski trips, and am thinking of putting the money into bikes instead. He is absolutely a beginner to power sports. I will get a CRF250F for myself.
Bought one of these a month ago for my 13 year old and myself to learn on. So far we are thrilled and couldn't ask for a better bike. I am working on getting my self a klx230 dual sport so we can ride together next season. Love your videos and will be using them as a reference when we do our mantainence soon.
Just Get out & Ride. I. Almost 65 now. Got my First machine in 73. Brand New Yamaha 80. Had the Torque Induction tank on side. UNDER $ 350.. Amazing! I was Instantly HOOKED for Life! In My time, TWO Strokes RULED the Planet! A Dozen Bikes Later & Many Decades?? STILL HOOKED! Fond Memories, Garretson Beach! Gravesend Bklyn. Tear Assing around, NOT a Care in the world. The Rush Never Dies! God Bless..
I have a 23. I love it also. Had mine a yr and a half. Changed oil like 4 times😅 tightened chain once.. keep rotating parts lubed. Bad ass bike for real. Nice review i agree with everything yal say.
This is the best video ever, i enjoyed it so much what a great kid. Im buying a used ine tmmrw 2022 for 3k is that a good deal? Im 54 and exactly whatvi needed to know.
Thanks for the review bud! My girlfriend wants to learn how to ride a bike, and I want a toy to have fun with .. so I think this is the best option Saludos ✌🏼🇲🇽
I need to go by my local shop and sit on one but I’m 6’3 and want a pit bike. I like this one because it’s the smallest Honda you can get that has a clutch. Think I could fit on it?
I'm looking at getting one for my 14yr old son but also occasional use by me, why not eh? He's around 5ft 8 and 150lbs and I'm around 5ft 9 and 200lbs, would it be fine moving me around? Thanks for the review it was brilliant
Yes, it will work, especially if he’s learning. However, if he takes to it quickly, in one year you may both be wishing you’d gone straight for the CRF250F.
You guys are having fun with this bike! Granddaughter sold her CRF50 really quick and bought my grandsons CRF110 from him. He went out and got the 125 FB yesterday. Just a great bike! They had the CRF250F there I could sit on. Thats the bike for us...some day! Do you know if the rear shock on the 125 can be adjusted? Also, noticed the same thing about the really cheap chain guard. Before you tossed it, did you try holding Honda accountable? I'm inclined to do that so they'll know they have an issue. Minor one, but I've been taught never to remove a guard.
Yes we are. We ride it weekly. It's fun to see the kids advancing through bikes. Yes, I still think there is a 250F in my future. I do not know if it can be adjusted, I need to look. I see your point with the chain guard. After one year, I don't miss it. But I also agree that it's good to let Honda know if there's an issue. Hope he enjoys the 125FB like we have!
Looking to get my boy a bike. He's 13, 5'7", and about 145 pounds. He did the MSF Dirt Bike class on a KLX 140 and was good with the size. This or a 150F?
I predict they will follow Honda’s lead in this regard, with time. Kawasaki has fuel injected their 300R, and 230cc bikes. I anticipate they will fuel inject the 140cc bikes soon - it would be awesome.

We have both of those bikes as will!

Based on your description, he will likely transition to the 250F within 6 months.

Great! I’m happy to hear that! KLX230 is a great bike.
Wow this kid is great and is super talented in front of the camera!
Yes, he is! He's a smart boy.
Great vid👍 I just got one for my wife and going to get another one for me. I can’t wait to hit the trails!
Glad to hear it! Have fun!
Great video boys. Thinking of one of these for my missus to learn on
That would be a perfect application!

Life is good, right? I love seeing my son ride.

Thanks for watching! Glad you're enjoying yours like we enjoyed ours.
Great video! Nice job, both of you! The Yamaha TTR125 would've stalled out in that scene at about 5:35 😅😂
Thanks! My son is awesome. This little Honda really did tractor down low in the rpms well. We loved it.

Yessir! I think you’re right
Only two things that have broken on mine is the black chain guard and the transmission sprocket chain guard top mount
Thanks for pitching in!
Thx for the review,keep going!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
Thx how is it today? We are about same size
Great bike! We loved it. So fun, so low maintance. I rode a ton myself as an adult.
I need to go by my local shop and sit on one but I’m 6’3 and want a pit bike. I like this one because it’s the smallest Honda you can get that has a clutch. Think I could fit on it?
You could, it will feel small.

Great video
I’m a teen and 5’1 would this bike be a good option
Absolutely
Thank you
Is it too small for a beginner adult that is 5'10?
That adult can ride it, but it’s not the ideal size for a 5’10” adult.
Get a 250crf
Awesome video!
Question for you; How often do you lube the chain?
Thanks! I have only lubed the chain one time in one year. Truthfully, I need to do it more often.
thanks man you sold me on this, Im same age\weight \ height lolol.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching! My son loved it, and so did I.
Im 5’10 would the big wheel be small for me?
You can ride it, but better off with 250F.
Just subscribed ❤❤
Great!
Would you attempt the TAT on the bike
I would

150F
Awesome video
I’m considering of buying one myself
Do you recommend?
Thanks! Yes, we have loved this bike and if I could go back one year I'd do it again.
What is your son's height? Thanks
I don't recall what it was at this time, but he's 5'9" tall now. I'll bet he was 5'4" at the time of this video.
@@SouthwestORV Thanks! 🍻
What size tires it has ? Is it fuel injected, 4 speed?
Yes fuel-injected, yes 4 speed, tires…look on Honda’s website
When you shift it is it like 1 down 3 up or is it 4 up? And what is the breaking In period?
1 down, 3 up.
Break in is basically nothing, per the instructions…it’s something like “first ride”. :) Great bike.
Is the 2021 or the 2022 faster kind of a dumb question just wondering
Exact same. No difference.
How tall was your son on the video, trying to compare to my son’s height
I think he was about 5'3" at the time of this video.
Im 5,8 14 years old, 110lbs I was just wondering should i go for this bike or a yz125?
Two very different bikes! Are you wanting more reliable trail ride fun? Or violently fast race type performance with more maintenance required?
how did you break in this dirft bike
Just rode it nice for the first few hours.
bro this bike is 4 speed man what do u mean
That's correct. It is a 4-speed. I never considered it to be a 5-speed. I bought it knowing it was a 4-speed.
Kawasaki and Yamaha only put fuel injection in their Dual Sport bikes, but this bike is perfect. The Dual Sports are so heavy.
I predict they will follow Honda’s lead in this regard, with time. Kawasaki has fuel injected their 300R, and 230cc bikes. I anticipate they will fuel inject the 140cc bikes soon - it would be awesome.
@@SouthwestORV The problem is that this bike is out of stock, I called the local dealer and they said August.
Yeah that's a bummer. Hope you found one!
What would you say the top speed is ??
about 70 on a road
53 mph
you look just fine on this bike! im 3 in taller !
Thanks!
how tall is your son?
He was 5’4” or so at the time.
Lol lubrifié la chaine une fois😂😂
Exacto. La vida es buena. La vida es aun mejor con una moto.
