Just a thought about the people who give a thumbs down on a video where a dad buys a dirt bike for his 13 year old daughter, and goes riding with her and spends time with her, making her feel important. You guys are pretty pathetic. There I said it. No one forced you to watch. It's not click bait. It's not a full review yet. It's family time.
Don't worry about them. Some people just need to get under other people's skin. Be careful trailing so close to a new rider, it can freak them out. I noticed your daughter looking back at you several times. For a new rider, that can be dangerous. Just one dad to another.
Some people are also uncoordinated and may have just mashed the wrong button on accident. Great video, dirtbikes are probably the most family friendly sport out there, glad to see you all out there!
I agree 100% with you Kyle. Riding dirt bikes isint all about racing or riding the local tracks. It’s about family bonding, spending time together, making a family grow together even more. My 13 year old daughter rides a crf100 and loves it,my son rides a ktm 65 and my wife has the rzr. Nothing better then spending time with the family and seeing there huge smiles on there face. Before we know it they will be all grown up and this is somthing us as parents can look back and smile and know it was a awesome time in our lives!
Family time is the best, That's what its all about. Building self confidence, getting outside, making their "own" decisions, developing motor skills and having FUN! Keep it up you're a great Dad.
Just bought this exact bike for my daughter. Her first bike . She's 95 pounds and 5 foot 3. It fits her really well. She can put both feet down, flat on the ground.I feel it was a good choice for a beginner bike. She love's it.
Fortteen my 91 XR 250r has been through hell and back, still haven’t needed to do any big maintenance so far besides changing the oil and things, runs like it was in the 90s.
Love to see more family riding videos. Training my son (9) n daughter (11) to ride for past 2 years. Memories that will never go away as everyone gets older!
Just gotta say, I loved this video. I miss riding with my pops when I was younger. Nothing made me feel better. This video brought back some good memories. Your kids are lucky have such a great Father who is getting them involved. Thumbs up all the way!
Probably the coolest thing any of us will see this week...nothing beats family time and if you can include riding dirtbikes with your kids thats a plus plus... they'll remember that day for the rest of their lives... that's flat out awesome...
My Dad, me and my sister used to ride together back in the late 70's..My sister was offered a deal to ride yz 80's for a local yamaha shop but my parents declined. She ran in one Race and finished Second. Im 55 today and my dad and sis ride a Polaris RZR...my 80 yr old dad and i have a KTM 300 and an 81' IT 465. Annybody who criticizes you for spending time with your kids off roading needs to do some self examination. THERE IS NO BAD FAMILY TIME. These memories will last forever and i hope someday when your 80,, and your kids are in their 50's you can still enjoy a family Jaunt through the dessert.
I'm 12 years old and I have a Kawasaki 140 2009 and it was a handmedown bike and it still has everything stock and it is still mint for that age I'm on a KTM 85 now and we are saving the 140 for my sister so it really is a tank
Nice video, great to see a family out riding together. I was fortunate enough to enjoy that too as a kid. I have an '06 Honda CRF100, that I bought new and still have. I'm a grown adult but that little bike takes me anywhere in the Colorado mountains, and barely uses any gas. Plus it only weighs 165lbs so it's simple to load in the truck. Plus it has been stone reliable all these years, never a problem with it. Honda makes some really good stuff.
Love seeing the family riding together! That's where we are headed. Looking for something for my wife currently. Thinking of maybe an older twin shock trials bike so it can pull double duty.
Great video of your family outing. Would recommend the Cardo Packtalk Bold for your intercom communication. It will link up with your three children and your Dad plus its DMC communication protocol will automatically relink when someone disappears behind a hill then reappears. It is a game changer for rider to rider communication.
A typical reliable Honda that you can have for years, and with little maintenance keep and pass down thru the family. Perfect bike for newer riders or just general light trail riding to ride with kiddo's, etc. You must have gotten one of the last few for all the logistics and shipping nightmares really kicked in. Sad to walk into a dealer now and literally see no bikes on the showroom. Nice, clear simple review btw and what great place to ride, I'm jealous. lol
Just bought my daughter (12yrs old) a 2018 CRF125 but the "small wheel" version. Wish I had opted for the big wheel since she is growing fast. Love your channel and glad to see other dads riding with the family! Would love to see more info on good places to ride with a family/camp/etc.
Thumps down just means you don’t want TH-cam recommendations of this type of video in your recommendation list, i don’t think it’s anything personal. Nice video btw thanks 🤓
man some of my best memories growing up were going out and riding with my dad. we've been out of the sport for a number of years and I'm in my 30's now, but I'm thinking of getting some land and getting back into it. great video!
When I was 11 in sold my XR80 and bought a new XR100 with my lawn mowing money. Less than 6 months later after a big growth spurt I turned 12 and and bought a new XR250R. I was 5'10" 135 and by the end of that summer I was a crazy man on that bike. My muscle strength grew by leaps and I had the time of my life on that thing till I turned 16 and sold it for aftermarket parts for my 1st mini truck... That little XR100 was fun while I had it. EFI is awesome for storage reasons and altitude changes in your riding areas. But I would agree with that the weight of these bikes is high. I wonder if Honda offered two versions of each bike in their trail line up if a lighter, upgraded bike would sell more, less, or the same as these heavy trail bikes offered now.
Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I’m 14 and I got the crf125 from 2018 and I’m soooooooo depressed it’s not fuel injected but at the same time I’m getting a 250 soon so we,luv to see it
Dads Doorstep make sure you put a chain on it before riding just got mine rode it for 10 mins put it in 1st gear took off got on it a bit and the chain snapped and broke the case
here in Philippines we have crf150l which is most likely similar to that unit except it has a very different engine but all the features are almost the same inverted forks, linkage monoshock, efi
Awesome Video Kyle! I miss riding with my Daughter and three boys. We use to race harescramble races and the boys also did motocross. They are all grown up know and moved away. All but one is local and we go riding sometimes with my grandkid. Great family times riding. They grow up Fast. Enjoy your time with them!
Best parents are the ones who spend time with their kids. For the last 14 years I've been taking my daughter and her brother ( not my kid) every weekend. Both kids ride mountain bikes, snowmobiles, atvs and yup DIRTBIKES.... dante is grown now but Britney is 16 and just started driving and has her first job. I have to admit it's very boring without them when they are working and I am off. I'm a trucker. I work Monday to Friday with weekends off. I have alot of friends but my best friend is my daughter Britney.
Pick one of these up last week for one of the grandkids.. Neat little bike but if they tip it over and the throttle is stuck wide open, watch out. With the fuel injected motor, it will scream until someone can shut off the switch.
Nice vid I just bought that bike today a few hours ago...planning a ride for it. My son is 8 but he's tall and this bike fit him the best...I rode it Around the storage unit and your rite it's a torquey bike ....awsome thanks good vid.
awesome video/ hilairous is i just got the crf 125 for myself (47) and my lady (42)// i ride but she does not and i am showing her how easy it should be for her... got to love it we got a kid's bike but it is perfect for us we just need a little off road transporter
Would you recommend this bike for my wife? Shes 5'5". Shes putted around before with a 100 but shes not used to changing gears. I feel like the 150 might be a little much for her. Cant wait for the full review.
Dude getting my daughter on out little crf70 and doing baby hard enduro is the best! Some of the most fun I have had. I think I might see if my wife would do the crf125 she is only 105 lbs 5’3”.
It is definitely heavy at 197 Ibs. My CRF 230 weighs in at 240 lbs. I thought the 125 would have been much lighter. Other than that, these bikes are awesome, reliable, and very low maintenance.
I went 2 stroke with my kids. Pw80 and crf70 then , kx65, yz85, and now she's 16 on a kx100 . Crf150r race bike requires very expensive up keep unlike the xr type crf trail bike models that run a million hours untouched. I personally wont buy a yz250f or yz450f due to the expensive rebuilds compared to the 2 strokes.
I’m about to buy my first full sized bike at 24 years old lol. I’ve decided on a drz125l because I already know where I’m going to go and potentially pulling wires to a starter or a charging system is not my idea of a good time in the woods.
Hey kyle where is the lady in your life? Does she have a dirtbike? You never see her ride? The kids are doing awesome. My 8 year old daughter wants to ride any suggestions on bike size 65 85 or crf110 never rode before she has not. 4' 65-70 lbs guessing
Why did you not get her a 2 stroke? Im trying to figure out if I should get the Honda 125F big wheel or KTM 85 for my 14 year old son. He is a new rider so im not sure what would be smarter.
EFIs do add weight. AND less low end torque. Its an EPA thing. More hovernment intrusion inside your motor, but we are being turned into compliant robots anyway.... At least some people are..... sad.....
Jack Hart he is saying that there is a switch on the clutch that when the lever is pulled in the electrical will allow it to start. Safety feature. Some street legal dualsport bikes have similar technology for a kick stand switch. Just prevents the bike from starting in gear with the rider not ready or jumping with the side stand down.
This is a serious question: I'm 6'2 and 185, but if I stuck bigger tires on that 125 could I ride it without issues? Never rode a dirtbike on my life and the price isn't bad!
I'm thinking about getting the CF125F as my first Trail Bike.. I'm in my Late 50s and 250 pounds.. will the CF125F have enough power to get me around ? Can I transport it in the back of my SUV that has a space of 66" in Long X 45" wide at the rear wheel wells ?
I use to have one too, good bikes but I grew out of it I’m 5 months but it was only meant to be a learner bike because I haven’t rode one for about 3 years and it was a 65, now i have a crf250r
Hey Kyle I’m trying to get bikes for the family and wanted to know what bike Karen rides? I’m actually looking at the 125 big wheel for my wife but want your opinion if you don’t mind

AMEN !!!!!! Seriously
Don't worry about them. Some people just need to get under other people's skin. Be careful trailing so close to a new rider, it can freak them out. I noticed your daughter looking back at you several times. For a new rider, that can be dangerous. Just one dad to another.

Dirtbike channel does not discriminate against colored bikes
All colors matter!
All bikes matter!
You gotta problem with red?
...punk?
Just bought this exact bike for my daughter. Her first bike . She's 95 pounds and 5 foot 3. It fits her really well. She can put both feet down, flat on the ground.I feel it was a good choice for a beginner bike. She love's it.
I WISHHHH my parents would have done this with me!
badass! EFI, back up kick stater, electric start, and best of all its a Honda!
pretty sure indestructible
With proper maintenance it will literally run forever
Fortteen my 91 XR 250r has been through hell and back, still haven’t needed to do any big maintenance so far besides changing the oil and things, runs like it was in the 90s.
Top quality always comes from China 👍
Steve King but Honda makes bikes in Japan 🤔
Yamaha TTR125 is better an better price!
Love to see more family riding videos. Training my son (9) n daughter (11) to ride for past 2 years. Memories that will never go away as everyone gets older!
I love to see more girls riding too. We have an organization in southern Idaho called Motogirls 208 that promote lady riders! They are amazing!
carl atamanczyk that’s awesome. How south you talking? Hopefully in the next year we will be in meridian/Boise area. I’ll have to look it up👍🏻
Just gotta say, I loved this video. I miss riding with my pops when I was younger. Nothing made me feel better. This video brought back some good memories. Your kids are lucky have such a great Father who is getting them involved. Thumbs up all the way!

Man Kyle you should've given grandpa some camera time!
Awesome. Great to see the next generation getting into this stuff!!
Just bought this same bike for my 10 year old son. Love it so far!
Good to see 3 generations of one family riding together and to see your daughter having a go and the bot
Oops and the boys giving her some space to gain confidence. Your a lucky guy
My Brother is 14 almost 15 and he is racing ktm 250 sxf from 2014 with Air forks. Sweet bike.

Agree
Yeaaaaa

I have a ttr-125 Yamaha and it gets my 190 pound butt up most hills so the power is awesome she probably flies up hills love your channel by the way.

Lucky kids. All your videos rock! I'm always excited when I see you've posted a new one. Keep em coming.
Picking up one of these this weekend and I’m much happier about my decision now seeing this video. Thanks bro!

I want to ride everything I can also. Great video brother man, I hope to have a family like that one day. I love it.
Why to go Kaylee! Moving to a bigger bike with a clutch!

Crf250 is an updated xr250 it also has fuel injection. Just released them this February
But it's a 5 speed instead of a 6, and it gained 10 or 15 pounds over the XR. And no lights or speedometer and cheaper out suspension.
That’s a beautiful thing. I hope I can get all mine on bikes together one day.
When I was 11 in sold my XR80 and bought a new XR100 with my lawn mowing money. Less than 6 months later after a big growth spurt I turned 12 and and bought a new XR250R. Definitely update ya on that Honda. I’ve been looking into the Honda lines a lot lately. Thanks Kyle
Living the dream in gods country. You are blessed
God's
We have a CRF110 Fuel Injected on order with the local dealership, can't wait!
Dads Doorstep make sure you put a chain on it before riding just got mine rode it for 10 mins put it in 1st gear took off got on it a bit and the chain snapped and broke the case
@@carterlyford2963 Oh wow thats crazy that happened, sorry to hear that!
So awesome Kyle! Glad they’re finally putting FI in the smaller bikes. Can’t wait til I can ride with my kids. 😀
here in Philippines we have crf150l which is most likely similar to that unit except it has a very different engine but all the features are almost the same inverted forks, linkage monoshock, efi
Good video. Did you every do a review video of the CRF125F big wheel? How do you like it almost a year later? Thanks!
Dirt Bike channel because everyone should ride on his own level!
why did I just watch seven min and 34 sec of a family ride dirt bikes
Awesome Video Kyle!
I miss riding with my Daughter and three boys. We use to race harescramble races and the boys also did motocross. They are all grown up know and moved away. All but one is local and we go riding sometimes with my grandkid. Great family times riding. They grow up Fast. Enjoy your time with them!

It doesn't have tilt sensor cutoff?
What a life. Well done dude.
I have a ported 2006 crf250r with fmf titanium series exhaust. It rips hard
Grate video as always. I just bought my wife a 2019 CRF 230F it’s her first bike and she really loves it. I ride a KTM 300 xc w love it also.
Sweet video mate! Australia hasn't even heard of the fuel injected 125's yet!
Very true

Any links to where you are riding??Looks really nice..
Dude getting my daughter on out little crf70 and doing baby hard enduro is the best! Some of the most fun I have had. I think I might see if my wife would do the crf125 she is only 105 lbs 5’3”.
The Cardo Scala rider packtalk is the way to go
Hey man! Awesome video! Where is this campground ???
Riding on the right side, my kids don't get it either.😰
Great choice of bike...Just bought the exactly same bike for my daughter.Any time with family is great time...Oh...my bike is orange.
Where are you camping in this video? my boys are ready for this kinda stuff. This place looks great!
Are the 110s fuel injected yet?
It's that kid Nick the 2019 Honda 110’s are
I got the Yideng Bluetooth headset for 90$ for 2. Works great.
i have got a kx 100. where do you guys go riding.
looks like a fun trail
How tall is Kaylee, you mentioned she is petite and about 80lbs, curious how tall she is, bikes looks to fit her real well.
Are some electric start bikes not able to start in gear? That would cancel out the benefits if true. I've never owned one so I'm curious.
Rizzo44 Rizzo the Honda 110 would not start when in gear. This one does
im a small female rider like your daughter. this helped me
It is definitely heavy at 197 Ibs. My CRF 230 weighs in at 240 lbs. I thought the 125 would have been much lighter. Other than that, these bikes are awesome, reliable, and very low maintenance.
Can’t you start a bike if it’s in gear and the clutch is pulled in on any bike
Would you gravitate towards the 85 bikes or a CRF150R when your kids need to upgrade?
What is a wet start, I'm new to riding and got this exact one today. I'm also 13
I want to get a crf125 for my fiance but all the dealers have insane markups on them.. estimating nearly 4k out the door.
I don't think there are too many Honda carbies left. Even the step-through is injected.
Nice place to ride.... where is this at?
How old are the boys in this video on those 65’s?
Love this video. GOOD WORK DAD!
Holy crap your boys got big in the last year or so!
Kyle - can you please post a link for the helmet radios you guys use? That would be awesome!
Nice family ride!!! I put a left mirror on my 300xc to keep an eye on my kids
EFI trail bike? Cool but seems like it would be a bit pricey
EFIs do add weight. AND less low end torque. Its an EPA thing. More hovernment intrusion inside your motor, but we are being turned into compliant robots anyway.... At least some people are..... sad.....
carl atamanczyk haha “government intrusion into your motor” so true
All the old bikes you could start while in gear.
That's also dangerous because there's no gear indicator oof
so are you saying in the video that u can start the bike in gear by pressing a switch.
Nah you can’t
I'm thinking about getting the CF125F as my first Trail Bike.. I'm in my Late 50s and 250 pounds.. will the CF125F have enough power to get me around ? Can I transport it in the back of my SUV that has a space of 66" in Long X 45" wide at the rear wheel wells ?
Kyle
give us your thoughts on the 2 65's. I'm about to go in for one or the other
im glad u made this video no one has any good videos on the crf 125 i just got the 2018 crf 125 and i love it
I use to have one too, good bikes but I grew out of it I’m 5 months but it was only meant to be a learner bike because I haven’t rode one for about 3 years and it was a 65, now i have a crf250r
hello sir how many kilometers per liter? please answer
You can never kill a Honda
I’ve got a crf 125 as well it’s a great bike and has a lot of power I’ve got up to 95kmh on it and it has 4 gears not 5 or 6 but I have the 2018 model
Hey Kyle I’m trying to get bikes for the family and wanted to know what bike Karen rides? I’m actually looking at the 125 big wheel for my wife but want your opinion if you don’t mind
