The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him.
      John 1:1,14 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us,
      1 John 3:8 KJV
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
      Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
      John 1:10
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT.
      John 3:18 KJV
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I find that modern movies seem to be moving in the latter direction, even movies with multimillio-dollar budgets. Always refreshing to see a modern movie use practical effects like these!

The fact they built a whole set for the chocolate palace is insane. All that work for like a 1-2 minute scene... That's dedication I'll tell ya. Filmmakers at their craft. You might think it's stupid to invest so much time for something that wasn't in the film for that long, but you also have to think about retakes and potential set problems that could ruin a scene, so in the end...it was all necessary.

    • @scottnelson9
      @scottnelson9 2 ปีที่แล้ว +105

It was done well, but it most certainly wasn’t ahead of it’s time. A lot of these filming techniques were being heavily employees in the 2000s. The Lord of The Rings and the Star Wars prequels come to mind. Both used a ton of motion capture and there were many practical effects, especially in TLOTR. If you want to see a film which was truly ahead of it’s time, watch The Fifth Element from 1997. They did not use motion capture at the time, but I compare all other CGI to that film. If you can’t do better than they did in 1997, why even try?

Calm down, please, and stop trying to be negative. I know it’s acting. But I was saying it was really good because I couldn’t even tell it was him. Because in the 19th century the British had a lot of child labor issues

I couldn't adore Johnny any more. He is simply perfection on the movie screen. I've never had an infatuation with him as a teen idol or anything like that but every movie he played in just seemed to be flawless. He is so talented I wish I had just a tiny bit of his talent.

It’s fine to love an actor’s work, but the dude’s been in a ton of bad movies and been bad IN them. Best to keep it real. He’s human.

    1. So much more in this movie was practical effects than I even thought!
    2. At 11:53 there's something really wholesome about Johnny clapping for this kid that did his own stunt.

It’s so sad when we saw all this hard work for a years…. The long march of a man's life of work and dedication, and another person who has nothing less than all of this comes and tries to destroy him … justice for Johnny ✌🏼

I cannot believe the production value from what I have seen so far. (I have only watched 8 minutes from this moment writing). They truly do not make them like they use to. I think I'm going to watch it again for greater appreciation. Awesome line up!

Johnny's voice made this character! It's awesome how he made the viewers hang on to every single weird word Willy Wonka says! Johnny Depp is a king of an actor!
