      Well were 2 months in, and it's going lol.
      Luckily she is cute, but her hair looks like a fuzz ball at the roots.
      Also, I havent put any products in her hair, and for the first time it is retaining moisture and feels super soft, so I think it was a good choice. Her hair shrunk up to her shoulders, but overall she enjoys it and that's all that matters

    For those thinking of doing this, especially with locs of this size, I would recommend a “brick” pattern so the end result lays with more coverage and fills gap between rows of locs. The locs have a stacked appearance, if that makes sense.

      Melzina Hawkins it’s not a hold like eco gel but when I use it I get a nice silky hold and I have type 4 hair and my locs now are about 6 inches long. It doesn’t flake either. You can also pair it with all natural Shea butter and grease scalp with olive oil or castor oil/ coconut oil.

She will be 10 years old next month (Aug 2, 2020) and I have been perming her hair since she was 3 (I know I know I feel so bad please don’t drag me) however about a year ago I stopped perming it and let her natural hair grow out and just two weeks ago I cut the permed ends off and now her natural hair looks amazing. You remain stagnant and stuck when you choose to always do things your way.You can never know to much nor are you too old to learn something new. You can avoid problems in life by simply listening .And if he don’t apply let it fly . Take what you need and leave the rest . I know my comment is unsolicited but maybe someone open to learning will see this comment and learn something . Blessings to anyone who is reading . Ase

    Started my locs 2 days ago, I’m doing them micro and this video actually helped me because my hair is short and I was using a different tool to try lock it at the roots but my hair was too short and kept slipping out, but the interlock hook helped me out a lot .. I ran to the beauty supply after watching this video 😊

    I’m starting my daughters locs today. We’re starting with 2 strand twists and interlock at the root. I think she’ll have to interlock rather than twist because she’s very active n I don’t think re-twists will last.

    • @ItsMissChas5
      @ItsMissChas5 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely alternate; Just dont interlock EVERY time!!!

    • @jusDenyse
      @jusDenyse  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Keep for a couple days or for the weekend and do it in a two day process so that she won’t be sitting long. We took a couple breaks. But I also gave her a tablet while I did it and it kept her occupied as well
