I really like how this remix has a ticking in the background. Not only does it make sense with Rose being a steel type trainer, it also shows that time is running out; you don't have time to fight this guy, and yet he stands in your way regardless.
u_uFishdu_u Possibly, here are some hints that I know recently. 👇🏽 1. SWSH isn’t the first game with exclusive gym leaders. BW has Drayden for Black and has Iris for White. 2. Gen 5 has most Pokémon to be in SWSH. 3. Piers theme has a reference for N’s theme and Leon’s hair is a lot similar to N’s.
Lol when I started to battle Rose I wasn't paying much attention, it was average. But the moment the chorus kicked in I literally got frozen for a few second because of how fucking good it was.
rose had so much potential as a villain but the eternatus arc felt so sudden and rushed that the shock value plot twist just felt weak. i wish he got the development he deserves!
I feel like that's my problem with the recent Pokemon games. Sure, the characters, pokemon, and music are obviously amazing, I'm starting to like a majority of the Galar pokemon design, but it's the story that is missing. There no longer is a good story just like back in Black and White, amazing characters and music per usual, the Pokemon are designed to perfection, and the battles are actually extremely difficult if you're just playing casually. Nowadays you can just one-shot just about every npc and LV up without trouble, but that's besides the point. What made Black and White good was it's story, how fleshed out the world was and how grave the situation was. Here? It doesn't let you sink it in, how dire the trouble is to come, just... Rushed. I love pokemon with all of my heart, and I still do, which is why some of the fans where distraught at game even before it was released, the design was executed poorly(free roam), the animation is lazy again even AFTER the Pokedex reduction, and now a rushed story. I want them to succeed and give it their all, but... I just feel like Shield and Sword is just a money-grab. No matter what they do, Pokemon will sell. It always has, and always will.
I want the AU where Rose gets conscripted into Team Rainbow Rocket, and he's so put off by his colleagues that after you beat him and Eternatus he starts helping you.
Now I wanna see Sada/Turo get brought over with their AI and they’re loving being surrounded by other extremists meanwhile the AI is utterly horrified by everyone else.

Yeah honestly when I see Rose, yeah, she looks like your typical "plot twist" villain, but when she shows up and interacts with you, that vibe goes away, but Oleana, she has that vibe, like she's the underrated secretary, that she wants get revenge, or wants to take control of rose's company, and bede, well how he was treated by rose could be a good reason
I don't see it mentioned but what I love about this is the ticking clock in this remix. It fits the whole fight and even the character. Sure folks say unexpected bad guy, but he never was a bad guy. Nobody knew about Eternatus, and when Rose did he tried to protect folks and hide it from them, buy time to fix his mistakes. Its the same with you fight. He doesn't want to fight you, he has no determination in the battle, he is just there to stall while Leon takes care of business, or so he hopes. He's trying to protect Galar, and you, even if misguided. Time it ticking down for Galar, Leon, rose, and you. it fits the battle and this theme so well.

To be fair, after listening to way too many of Vetrom's Pokémon remixes, I wouldn't mind hearing a Pokémon/Trauma Center mashup mix or two. Not saying I'd die without it but I will say that I think it'd be pretty cool.

Miror B, Colress and Ghetsis are some of my favorite tracks of the series.

The course things were going the only way to create radical change quickly was to create a disaster that reset everything. It’s a deranged train of logic but it also makes a bit of sense.
I love this song. It shows how you fight against the leader of the all Galar region, the president who has organized the gyms challenge, the man who have the most power of region. For me, this theme tells me that I am in front off a great challange for rescue the future of Galar, the champion Leon, and it show me the powerfull personalty of Rose. Thanks for the remix, Vetrom.
The organ was a great touch, along with the cymbals and brass. Really helped nail in the drama of the choir. The little touches to the melodies are also appreciated. OH and that deep synth with the choir, built upon with the steady drums and strings was so surprising and cool as well as how you highlighted different tracks. Well done.
In my head cannon he was only using steel types to counter eternatus in a worst case scenario, since his original plan would have been for Leon to defeat and catch eternatus.

I see a lot of people saying the voices say "Rosa seda credo" ("I believe in the rose" or something like that in latin) or "Go Rose save everyone" when It's the first one, but at the same time It's meant to sound like It's saying "Go Rose save everyone", because Rose thinks that, that he's the hero destined to save Galar.
One of the most underwhelming bossfights in the game. He uses most of the same pokemon that the 30 henchman use. They are a really high level, but you already know what he has before you even battle him! He has an amazing battle theme though so theres that. Sweet remix!
I wish this guy actually was a challenge. His theme was so intense and epic, while the battle itself was just my Non-DMaxed Cinderace Using Pyro Ball 5 times.

i Kinda get the logic of his plan, as deranged as it is. If I could rephrase it using a quote from another game it would be from Metal Gear “This country is diseased, rotten to the core. Theirs no saving it. We have to start over, BURN IT DOWN!” The course things were going would not last, the only way to make drastic change quickly would be to create a disaster so great that people would be forced to start over. It’s insane and cruel but I get the logic.

I see a lot of people saying the voices say "Rosa seda credo" ("I believe in the rose" or something like that in latin) or "Go Rose save everyone" when It's the first one, but at the same time It's meant to sound like It's saying "Go Rose save everyone", because Rose thinks that, that he's the hero destined to save Galar.
Did anyone ever notice Rose is actually just a more steely and evil Steven Stone?

One of the most underwhelming bossfights in the game. He uses most of the same pokemon that the 30 henchman use. They are a really high level, but you already know what he has before you even battle him! He has an amazing battle theme though so theres that. Sweet remix!
damn i thought he was actually a good fight yeah he only fainted like one of my Pokémon but I still enjoyed it
