It’s so nice to see the birds flew that well good luck. I know sometimes when strays come with the birds ruins everything. There are things that is out of our control. Hlad to see the weather is nice and the birds are foing well. Good luck on next races. 😘😘😘😘😘🌹🌹🌹
It will get much better as the distances become longer but yes I'm sure a dropper would have helped. Thanks for your comment 👍 and thanks for watching my friend
Nice first drop.. No way to tell much when the race is only 60 miles. As you said, that's just a training toss basically. Why so short on a first race? What was the average distance of the other lofts? Good luck on your young bird season.
The average distance for the other lofts was around 100 miles. I am the only loft in my area so it's hard to accommodate everyone. The 3rd race starts to get much more normal for distance. We still have one more at 62. Thanks for watching and commenting ✌️
Good luck in the next contests. Do pigeons from those brought from the deceased breeder also compete? How many did you manage to learn in your loft? Greetings from România.
I started with 27 of Mike's pigeons and I only managed to rehome 13 the rest were lost during training. The ones that I still have are doing well. Thanks for asking my friend
I did have droppers but I got tired of all the extra work they bring. next time I’ll have the birds a little bit more hungry and they should drop right down also the longer races brings them in quick. Thanks 🙏
Maybe don’t feed them or give them extra feed on racing days like this. Just shows them that if they come home late or if they choose not to trap in them will always get food. I do understand if they don’t come home in time and come home later at night or the next days and yes feed them. But if they come home the day of the race but late don’t feed them. Make them very hungry so yhey learn to come home and stay together as a flock.
All the different things that can happen with pigeons! Good luck and thanx for sharing.
I agree, you just never know what will happen. Thanks for watching
Enjoyed watching your first race of the season.

Can you show me all your lofts pls.
I thought you was going to have some droppers that would’ve took care of that they would’ve seen those drops and drop right down

Hey mike how can I message you about birds?
Please Email me: rockyridge0725@gmail.com
Thanks, Mike
I’ve seen one of the TH-cam guys tosses a white fantail across the yard to bring his birds in faster.
Not a bad idea 👍
Your birds are looking good. Maybe next time you will not have to deal with a stray bird.
It really surprised me how much of a problem it became but just have to go with it. 🤷♂️ Thanks for watching brother

At 100km full feed is too much...that's why they waste time
I did 75% but I will drop it down to 50 next time, thanks
