- In this video I will show how I wired up my Custom Escalade rear Pillars on my Yukon. This will work on 00-06 Tahoe, Yukon, Denali and Escalade. You will need the original rear pillars of a 02-06 Escalade to put the lights on. The lights I’m using in the video are from a supplier at the shop but if you need some you can message me on my Instagram @migo713. Other than that I will link all of the items below that I used as well as some alternative leds they just have to be rgb which is what I wired in this video. Hopefully this video will help you out wire some cool Lights on your Trucks! Let’s light these pillars up how they should have come from the factory!😎

I can say My old lady haves an 2003 Yukon SLT 4.8L I don't know many people with this model Truck but her Truck color is gold. I didn't like that color at first on your truck BC I don't know what could bring that type of color out to make it pop. But those Wheels you have really brings the color out and I Like it. And I Also like all of your Lights and creative work you have been showing viewers as well💯🙂
Oh Thanks!💯 I Appreciate that, that’s my favorite color on the Tahoe and Yukon, Pewter Metallic it always looks the same clean or dirty lol like a dirt color😁 and yes I agree they look better with the larger silver wheels and I love chrome on them. Maybe your wife would also like to customize her Yukon. I try my best to do some custom quality work that other people can do as well

I like the look of the Cadillac rear caps. But I'm not sure I would put the led strips on them . Man you really know your wiring . Sucks your not here in Vegas I would definitely go to you for a ton of upgrades.

I picked up some escalade d pillar vent caps today. Going to color match em and pop em on theb02 Yukon SLE this weekend. I'm still on the fence about putting the leds. I want em for sure and seein the reverse light on it too makes me want to do it that much more. I just dont know if I want to jump into all the wire splicing. Thanks for the video. I'll be watching a few more times till I decide I'm ready to try it for myself.

Wow gotta give it you bro. Shit is tight! I thought about doing this way back when i first got my escalade pillars on my 02 tahoe but simply don't have the necessary skills for this build. All I have are countless ideas and dreams waiting to be made into a reality by engineers such as yourself.

But yes if you take it to a stereo shop they can install it with the installation instructions since it’s a custom setup

I plan on doing mine using the trailer harness and without the reverse option. My question is what’s the purpose of the diodes ?
Cool! I have part 2 where we are using some of the trailer harness, and the diodes are to have separate inputs
Without the diodes the power will jump to all the lights
What led are you using for the license plate , if you don’t mind drop the link
I made a bracket for it and the Leds we use at the shop they are white leds that doesn’t change color over time, I have no link for it. I could make a video showing how I did it. Or you can message me in my IG @migo713 and I can sell you the led strip or the bracket and light💯

Yes, you will need 03-06 Escalade Pillars

Maybe you need to press yours more, sometimes there’s dirt or leaves that don’t let them sit all the way down
How did you connect the wires to the end of the LED strip
I just soldered the new connections on them with rgb wire

Yeah that should work the same way on it, although the opening on those pillars look
Slimmer you might only need one led strip not sure how much of the light will come out

@@BowtieMarco No problem!💯 and yeah just take your time and you will get it step by step. The 12v on the strips get connected on the 3 diode legs with the stripe side. That turns the 1 12v input in to 3 12v inputs for 1.parking 12v
2.brake 12v and 3.reverse 12v you can pause of freeze the video where it shows how the diodes look connected.⚡️
@@BowtieMarco 3 diodes with the stripe facing the led 12v on the other ends of the diodes,
diode 1 will have 100 ohm resistor with 12v parking light wire from truck.
Diode 2 will have brake 12v from truck
Diode 3 will have reverse 12v from truck

Very nice video very informative and you seem to know what you're talking about. My only gripe is that your background music is kinda taking over your instructions.
