The main difference is that the amateur men began making mistakes when the pressure lifted and the game tightened, whereas the professional women were still able to competently execute their shots.
the way I see it, it's a problem of stamina and concentration, as the longer the game went, the more the men pair got pushed to the back line, did desperate shots out of position and got their formation wrong. The female side made just as many errors as the male side.

I am surprised they allow the amateur player to do an illegal service. His racket is pointing upwards when serving. 3:57
Not an illegal service according to the (new) service rules. The position of the racket head does not matter, the height of the service determines a faulty service or not.
The racket pointing upwards rule never made any sense unless the server made contact with the shuttle at a point which is higher than the top of net during the serve, which is totally illegal on the height of contact alone. As long as players are observing rule of serving at 115cm height there's no point in checking the direction of the racket head.
