    The only thing I dislike about this video is your cable management in the bottom left corner of the screen when you’re talking to the camera. Can’t keep my eyes off it.
    Apart from that, thanks for the great video!

    • @LoveTech4U

      Thanks for the feedback on that! Yeah I should do a better job at that! :) I am doing some more studio upgrades and going to be getting more stuff up off the floor and mounted up on the ceiling in the near future, so hopefully that will take care of some of that cable management.

    I’m looking for suggestions. I want a free or onetime fee email to use. I have several dozen of emails. I’d like for them to be able to be saved/synced so I wouldn’t have to type them all in just the main one. And could have few main emails separated in one grouping and is set to sync new mail more often. Is this possible? Or do I need to always type emails info in on new phones and use 2 email apps? Thanks

    Spark often stops my computer from being able to turn off because it's busy doing something. If I override it, I lose all my emails from the day. I used to love them but they're pretty messed up now.

    It does not have mail RULES !!! :( :( :( I was just about to switch. I even installed and setup up all my accounts and discovered it does not have one simple feature that mail.app does. My only issues with mail is that it has problems polling the servers, especially my work account (zimbra server) and the flagged folder shows and hides on its own. I do not have any issue in deleting the worng email nor emails just disappering.
    Spark appears to be just as much of a memory hog as Mac’s mail.app.

    • @LoveTech4U
      @LoveTech4U  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mike, that is odd! I don't use rules that often however after looking into this more I found out that indeed you are correct. However, it DOES look like there's a feature called "Smart Folders" which are sort of like rules where you can tell the "Smart Folder" to only display only what meets certain criteria. So in a round about way it's kind of like a "virtual" rule. More info here: sparkmailapp.com/help/158-create-a-smart-folder.html
      It was interesting because when I searched for "rules" on Spark's website it pulled up "Smart Folders"... So maybe it's their way of doing rules but virtually? Here's a link where you can suggest where they add actual official "Rules" to Spark as a feature.. readdle.com/support?app=spark_mac
      I totally agree with you though, it's something that they could add to improve Spark. :)

    • @empoweringhealthdaily
      @empoweringhealthdaily 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow! Thanks for pointing this out Mike Mans! I, like you, use a lot or 'rules' for my email and if Spark does not have it I'll have to pass. Greatly appreciated.

    • @Jlexerama
      @Jlexerama 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. Lack of RULES changes my workflow too much. I installed Spark but didn't like the small toolbar icons and the lack of customization of the interface. I don't want to pay the $$$ but I think Postbox is for me.

    Hello. Excellent an informative video. I was just wondering why you don’t like read receipts?? Now, I realize that Canary does have this and I’m mainly using this due to some businesses not responding for whatever reason but I can tell if I’m being ignored, so that’s one of the big things I’m looking for

    • @LoveTech4U
      @LoveTech4U  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually like read receipts... I just never really use them, so it doesn't really bother me that Spark removed the feature a few years ago. However from a business perspective I can see why a lot of people miss the app having this feature.

    Hello,
    There is a way to move your folders to spark from mail (iPhone)
    And how do you create a new folder?

    • @LoveTech4U
      @LoveTech4U  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your folders (I am assuming in iCloud) then when you setup Spark you should be able to see all of them if you click on the “hamburger” menu in the top left corner of the app on your iPhone and then scroll down until you see your iCloud email address. Click on your iCloud email address and this will expand all of the folders that are housed on the iCloud server. This is how you access all of your folders in Spark on your iPhone.

    Yeah, man, you're absolutely right. Spark is I think the best mail client on the market at the moment. I was looking for an app that also synchronizes my account settings on all devices. The only app that can do that is Spark.
    And not only the Windows app is in development, but they will also release a web based version. Super cool, right?
    Furthermore the macOS app will be completely reworked and all apps, the Windows, macOS and the web app will look almost identical.
    So they will be unrivaled on the market.
    But let's not fool ourselves. The time will come when there will be a subscription model. But hey, for such an app, which can do everything I need, I am willing to pay. Aren't you?

    • @LoveTech4U

      Yeah it is pretty shocking in my mind that in 2020 there isn’t;t any other email app (that I know about) that can do such a great job at syncing all of my settings across all of my devices. • @LoveTech4U
      @LoveTech4U  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I struggled with this too when I first downloaded it. It actually does have this feature to show your folders. To enable this, on the menu bar, click on "Spark" > "Preferences" and then click on the "Folders" tab inside of the window dialogue box. From here you can select which folders you want to have appear in your inbox. If you have nested folders, I suggest you just enable the "Top Level" folders and then you'll be able to expand them and see your sub folders. I hope this helps you! :)
