I’ve literally just started my eBay account (two weeks ago), so I don’t have many items listed yet. Haven’t sold anything so I’m going to take your advice and try promoted listings and see how it goes. Thank you for taking the time to share your advice, it’s incredibly helpful!

I too have been doing 2% promoted listings, yes my sales improved but not to the extent I thought it would. I’m now promoting 5 of my longest listed items at eBay’s suggested rate to see if they sell. Great Video and thanks for keeping it real 😊
You are so very welcome! I’ll do my best to share what I learn as I learn it, and hopefully we can all grow together. There’s more than enough for everyone. If you want at some stage, let’s have a look at your actual listings and see what’s going on there as well.
Hi Geelong-Flipper I was just watching your video on how you changed your promoted listing campaign and then your eBay sales died and it reminded of another video from another aussie eBay youtuber called "Back from Burnout" the video had a click bait title call " I RUINED My eBay Store With ONE SMALL CHANGE!" (I figured youtube would not let me put a link in these messages so the title of the video will have to do) and in the video she was talking about something similar with changing her promoted listing campaign and her eBay sales dying as well, she was later told by eBay that a new promoted listing campaign will take 7 days to take affect so none of the listing were being promoted in that 7 days, I am not sure if it was the same thing with your case but it sounded similar
do these promotional fees apply to all ebay sellars? or just when u have a ebay store, ?
Great question, thank you. If you select to promote your item, you will pay that fee at the end of the sale regardless of if you have a store or not, I’m going to do a show about the benefits of a store but for now just know that if you select to promote your listing, you will pay a fee at the end, thanks so much for watching

@@daledrake7870 i’m really proud of you. We all have to start somewhere! Depending on where you live, have a look around for your Books do comps on them and maybe do some nice and cheap listings there. Promote those listings. Something else I’m going to let you in on for messaging me is make sure you have at least one new listing every single day or shows eBay that you’re serious
My organic sales are 20%... 😂 The 3 - 5% recommendion for promotional is so common among resellers on Utube. I don't get it.. 🙉
@@RyRy69436 I honestly think it’s really bad advice mate and I put it to the test. I do think that some of the bigger TH-cam people need to take a bit more responsibility for the advice that they’re giving people that’s what I’m hoping to change
