    Don, that was the best video I've seen explaining the steps taken to replace both the brake pads and tyre. Thank you.

    Excellent video Don. Saved me a whole lot of grief being ahead of the game.

    Replacing the front brake pads is not nearly involved as I thought it would be. Thanks for the clear instruction!

    Very good video and quite helpful. What is the brand of motorcycle lift are you using? It appears to be better suited than the one I currently have. Also, I'm looking forward to your video on rear wheel removal and brakes; have you posted one yet?

      The brand of jack that I was using was J&S motorcycle jacks. You had to order the special adapters for Indian. The one thing I did not like about the jackstand, when it came to oil changes there was not much room to put the brackets and work around the oil plugs But as far as stability, you could get right on top of the motorcycle and started up and not feel like you’re going to fall off at all.

    put the caliper on 1st before torquing the pin, much easier that way.

    Not a T14 but rather a 14mm hex but informative video, thanks.

    It's an H14 hex socket not a T14. You had me all screw up. Thanks

    Dobry film, choć ściąganie błotnika w przypadku posiadania podnośnika nie jest konieczne.

  • @bradsonnicksen1826
    @bradsonnicksen1826 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    You say the axle bolt is T-14, but that (and mine) looks like just a plain hex. Are you sure on that? (T-14 would be torx or "star")

    • @gdwill817
      @gdwill817 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brad Sonnicksen you’re correct, it is a hex.

      @@gdwill817 And it's not 14mm on the Scout Bobber...it's either 15 or 16. I only had 14, 17, 19 to choose from, so I ended up using a standard one that was close enough to fit.

    • @gdwill817
      @gdwill817 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brad Sonnicksen I have noticed that Indian will make changes from year to year and that could be a good thing for the rider. Indian looking to build a better bike.

    • @scatpack440
      @scatpack440 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is supposed to be a H14, T14 would be a rather small Torx socket

  • @leewroten1305
    @leewroten1305 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    1st it's a 10mm and a 13mm socket. Not #10 or #13

      Is there anything I need to do with the abs sensor? I am looking to replace the wheel on my 2017 Indian chief and I don’t wanna mess the abs sensor up when I remove and or put the tire back on! Your video was awesome for step by step instructions I am just confused on the abs sensor!
