@@Core3.14 Knowledge of number theory will help you in every field of mathematics, number theory and geometry these two basic branches have created such vast mathematics, set theory, algebra these things came into business only after number .(It's interesting that you can't give a true definition for number, set theory is evolved in the process of it. As you are in 8th grade this could be a great epistemological question to think upon) Do you think calculas is beyond the algebra and geometry?
