+Lauren Taylor It happens a lot to people who are just starting out. That said, I've never seen anyone talking over the music at gigs, only open mic nights.
This song is like a breath of hope & healing as you drive through the dense, impenetrable fog of a moonless night on your way home. Velvet Beatification & Mysticism.
I actually saw her live at Dotties back in the 90's. She opened solo for the Rock*a*Teens. Dotties was a dive, but I had some good times there. Brings me back.
Is that Steve Shelley playing drums? He used to do that from time-to-time. I'm pretty sure I saw her play w a band at Dottie's, but it couldn't have been this show. I know for sure I saw her play solo in the other room in 1996. And, like all the indie kids, I'd go to Fellini's just hoping she'd be the one slinging the pizza that day.
It's 2024 and i still love Cat Power. 💜🖤💜🖤
I met her in 2024 and I love her
whoever had the foresight to record this i thank you
so so much !
20 years ago I listened to this song until now never get tired of it!!!
She's so beautiful and her voice is fantastic. How could people talk over her the whole time!? She was amazing!
+Lauren Taylor some people do not recognize the true talent

They were there first
It's a fucking bar.
She was so young. She is still an incredible artist in 2022.
I read a couple of reviews that she's quiet bad live.
Once my time machine works again I'm going to that bar and having nachos.
ROCKETS is still one of my favourites !!!
this song saved my life. it was like ten years old then. now it’s like xxx years old and sounds new af
The epitome of cool.
Stunning.
i wish we could go back, but we can't. I hope you took something, because it surely is gone now.
