The beloved was so happy when you confirmed that you are gorgeous as she's been saying this all along. ' A job in the town ! Haven't heard that in yonks. I had to explain it to her indoors - she's from the Black Country !!! Im looking forward to the gun in action, I have a similar gun but only used it once as the sand was too gritty and clogged up the plunger. But there is plenty of pointing to do here, however it will be lime mortar which I believe is quite a coarse mix.
Your beloved is from the Black Country! Ive got a funny story about the black country, so listen out for it! lol. The video is out soon, showing me using this gun! Ive never used Lime mortar, so can help on that one Im afraid! I use these saying all the time but don`t realise it!lol
Have you used it yet mate? I've got two of them Verry hand tool I find when you get 3/4 the way through it gets stiff so I just empty it at that point, rinse it out and re fill it, a big bucket of water to dip it is is the best way to rinse it in between
Oh mate! Ive been on it half of the day! Once i got the mix right and got used to it, and found the best method it worked great! Im just doing the video of todays work with it as we speak! lol
@@chrishamilton-wearing3232 It depends on what you are doing but ushaly a 4 sand to 1 cement and no you shouldn't use washing up liquid it puts air bubbles in the mix once it's set and ends up being realy week, Feb mix makes the mortar more workable I'd also ad a bit of waterproofer in it too
Thanks for that info. I had not considered getting bubblesin the mix but of course it makes sense. I live 8n mid west Franceso I'mnot sure if we can get Febmix but probably an alternative is available. @@CoastalGardensNW
You would think for £27 quid, they would throw in a thing to fill it up, i mean, they provide the extra nozzles.
A black bag funnel
Love a good repurpose Shaun 💪💪, not just a pretty face 😂😂. Happy days, good gardening, Ali 🌦️🇨🇦

So what mix did you use ? I've been told that a squirt of washing up liquid helps. @@CoastalGardensNW

To load it, can you take the nozzle off and then put it in the mix and draw back on the plunge arm to suck it up?
I tried but there wasn`t enough suction, i suppose it depends on how thin the mix is! But i do like the gun.
THEY ARE CRAP WAST OF TIME AND MONEY. POINT MASTER, SIMPLE 2 PIECE SET, AND NO HEADACHES. KEEP IT SIMPLE FOLKS. RIGHT👍
Worked perfect for me and it done a great job. But each to their own.
Load of rubbish. It squeezes the water out of the mix and then compacts and seizes up. Mine ended up in the dustbin on its first use . Waste of money
It took a little time getting the mix right, but once I had that sorted it done a great job! Im very pleased I bought it.
