- The screaming Amtrak F40PH & Superliner set done right with the 'Amtrak F40PH enhancement pack'. Custom sounds, scripts, textures, quick drives galore and a heck of alot more with an extremely easy install to boot.
You'll only need the RSC/DTG EMD F40ph loco pack from the Steam Store to utilize this mega-chungus-mod (other requirements for the scenario(s) are within the manual).
This pack was authored by a group of individuals who came together to create this thing with every bit of passion as us Train nerds yearn for.
*This is/was a pre-release/preview, things can and will most likely be tweaked but for the most part remain what you see/hear*

Same bro they need to show a little love to sd40-2 high nose like one missing the paint on the rails or kit bash the JR sd40-2 to be a highnose

Air conditioner is an external model on the F40 itself above the cab. AC on the superliners comes on automatically with HEP

I currently use train Sim world 2, and love the immersion and being able to walk around the unit. However watching your videos has made me want to purchase train simulator 22. I love the sounds and all the enhancements you have on your setup and when I get it to look like that, and sound like that.
It’s more playable train sim world don’t get me wrong I love tsw to for the Immersion but I’m not about to keep doing the same mission over like something new is going to happen ts20xx is more fun due to the things you can do like run 8 and trainz tsw is just to 🔒 at this point
Plus there is tons of content and mods to have full prototypical operations I gotten so good to the point where I have made weekly operations on with 24hr timetables for us routes that I play on often with a little research that is lol
I played TSW from the start have 35+ DLC and after trying ts22 i havent played a single hour in tsw and its allready 6 months . Ts22 with all the downsides is way better than tsw. Tsw in my opinion has graphic and thats it. The gameplay is repetitive and the routes al all kinda the same. The best thing about ts22 is that u can acces the editor and u can play with any loco u want on any route u want. Its pritty much like ETS when it comes to addons and also has a lot of 3rd party developers with amazing content.

Really looking forward to this release! "youngins" fail to realize one thing about the F40....this WAS Amtrak! The F40 was to Amtrak, what the MD-80 was to AA. I miss seeing these a lot!

The link originally provided was an April Fools, LP has said that the F40PH EP pack will be released when it's ready. It'll go up on the Train Sim Community site, you'll just need to be patient is all.

Really Nice units. I've been on a bunch of F40ph and other units back in the 80's like F7, PA-1 an a SDP40F which I'll share with you which I've thought for years is pretty interesting. All these units Toilet aka bathrooms are located Not in the Nose of the Cab but inside the Rear of the Engine body, talk about making a private time Loud. The Nose on all these units I listed only house wiring and brake wheel which the rest of the nose is a big empty shell waste of space. Not sure why to this day why all these units' bathrooms were in the rear unlike every other unit out on the rails is in the nose.

Isn’t the sd45 the exact same the sd40
They have 20 cylinder engines instead of 16 cylinder engines. They also have a longer hood with flared radiators and output 3600hp instead of 3000hp
Um, an sd40 is an sd40 and sd45 is an sd45.

really gotta beat it down these days with how complex things are getting on TS with the likes of Smokebox's Big Boy and Searchlights AC4400CW since people on steam seem to like reviewing it negatively because they can't read a manual and learn that it's not like DTG's put it in forward and drive sort of train lol
