- Another massive project from the UTS Creations team for Train Simulator, possibly to top the Amtrak F40 pack - is the Coaster EP. Many many months of work and revisions have led up to this point for an EP which enhances the F59 pack complete with all new sounds, physics, textures and just way too much to type in this tiny box.
So let's have a look...

Quick sidenote for anyone wondering about the executable:
We ended up removing it because it was causing a lot of installation issues for some people and turned out to be more of a hassle than it was worth.
So how do you install then? I'm trying to get this installed and after a few tries with the executable, it won't work. I can't find it anywhere in TS.

@@TracksideSFL Nope. Still didn't work. Installed it exactly how the instructions said and still can't find anything other than the default San Diego Commuter with default sounds in the game.
@@TracksideSFL I think I'm just gonna give up on this one. This is more of a pain than it's worth for me.
As a railfan from SD, I do like the older paint scheme more, but from what I've heard, the new paint scheme was chosen due to weathering reasons.
Nice to see Mr. Armstrong mentioned in the manual. Hardly surprising that he helped out, though it's a shame we haven't got an F40PHM-2C model in TS.
(Just realised that someone could do an SP-themed Madonna parody and call it 'Like a Dingus').
If we had a soild model that accurate it would be cool
This was A pAiN in the ass to get right, but all worth it in the end, hope everyone enjoys it, and amazing video as always man!

Regarding bailing, you pretty much never bail off trains with blended braking unless you want to power brake.

All this pack needs is a few F40PHM-2Cs models and chargers this pack would be fantastic.
I'm sorry to say but all the sounds of this Unit have me Hot and Bothered my Railroad Vibes are through the roof at this moment with on how AWESOME this sounds and looks and that's a lot coming from me as I don't really enjoy Passenger Trains that much unless there pulled by a Steam Locomotive but I give this unit a 9 out of 10 only because I'm a Freight Railroader so if this was say a American Freight Locomotive 10 out of 10.

I wish this line would be updated it looks so bad and theres an entire tramway running from down town to utc that runs parallel with the line that isn’t Even represented. Also that f59 in real life is in pretty shape its got rust holes 6in high all the way around the bottom of the engine room you can see through.
Wish they would do the Surfliner route for TSW3
Same I just want a new route with a Siemens charger and F59PHI.
If they did, it'd probably just be San Diego to Oceanside with Coaster SC-44s and Bi-Levels but no Amtrak stock at all. Although that would be stupid because we don't have much Amtrak stock in the game as it stands now.

Just downloaded it today and am currently taking it for a test drive tonight. Definitely a great enhancement, but the physics feel a bit wonky to me. The air brakes seem too powerful, and the power and dynamics feel too weak. I was having trouble keeping my speed under control going down the north slope of Miramar Hill, as well as having a hard time getting up to track speed, even on level track.
The pop you hear in the exterior horn on the Cab Car is prototypical, at least on some UP motors Ive been on. Ive had some "pop" in rhythm with the RPMs of the prime mover.
That is definitely an audio issue within the game sound and not an actual sound you’d hear out in the real world.
The popping is just a limitation with the game
@@LP_LP_LP_LP I believe it, so many shortcomings on the base game itself that limits amazing content like this.
@@DaMeng3000 I can hear the loop in the horn, this is different. That rhythm, or pop, is prototypical. I've had a few engines over the years do that exact same thing.
This pack causes all F59PHi coaster scenarios, except quick drive, for pacific surfliner to crash (OUT OF MEMORY)
I believe they updated the pack after the big TS core update

The overhauled coach is invisible except the original livery and emd f59Phi
click on the bat file that comes with the pack and it will run a cmd prompt installation that should give you your consists

the engine shows up but the coaches and cab car do not. is there something i did wrong? prob
There should have been a .bat file that came with the pack you need to double click on that and it will run a cmd prompt then you should get your the rest of your consists
LP couldnt even take the time to keep this updated with TSC sad to see
i’m making a surfliner enhancement it’ll be done in about a year, im to old towne, tracks are getting replaced, signals, roads, everything tbh. getting replaced with modern and more nicer assets. no scalerail required since nobody can get it anymore, im not mentally retarded so it’ll look good and function good.
you’ll have it on your channel when it’s done if someone doesn’t beat me to it. not as nice as hylands route because he knows blender and all that, but he fell off the face of the earth so what can ya do.

Somehow theres a virus on it why I don't know... Trying to 7-Zip it, it failed. Not my computer nor anything, something had to do with the files!
Theres no virus. Windows requires a certification for executables which they didnt get certified.
