55 mph on that must be terrifying
Nah, I have driver scooters all my life and they are pretty stable. The only thing I wondering is how this will react on a lot of wind.
It isnt really terrifying. Its fun but if you fall of a scooter the first thing thats gonna touch the ground are your knees which isnt gonna look pretty
Did you mean to say fun?
I too have an electric scooter having same range and speed and trust me its thrill to drive an electric scooter above 50mph
You know there's motorcycles that are faster than most cars right? They probably mainly have that speed limit from the small tires. The bigger issue is those small tires will not handle bumps well.

how? more weight to permanently carry in your truck and what are you gonna use it for? to go drive to the nearest gas station to bring back some gas to refill your truck? oh wait... also batteries arent meant to be stored long term with no use. also cybertruck will never be released lol its vaporware

@@terrycruise-zd5tw Guess you've never seen a break down military motorcycle. This would be along those lines. As for why; trail riding, emergency transport to summon a battery charging and flat tire service truck, etc.
As for long term storage of the battery. Use the cycle battery for portable AC power with an inverter built in. Small farm owners often need to plug in a circular saw or corded drill.
What emergency are you imagining and how is this massive thing suitible for that application?

They should make the storage under the seat be able to fit an extra battery.
U can do that
good idea
Just put a smaller external power bank that is rated to be able to handle the output the scooter needs, put it inside the storage where the plugs are anyway, hopefully you can charge while riding but at least you can charge if you get stuck
Why do you need more range, 112km is intercity range.
but wouldn't then weigh more and on lower battery be able to go on for less miles?
In Taiwan they have stations for scooters like this. Instead of waiting for your battery to charge you put yours on the rack and take one of the pre-charged ones.
Edit:it’s just Taiwan, I had thought it was a few other Asian countries as well but apparently I’m wrong

This is the two-wheeled equivalent to a Tesla. There are much cheeper models. You aren't even allowed to drive 55 in the city anyway, so why do you want more. It's very likely they will reduce the speedlimit to 30. Also it feels so much faster because of the insane accaleration, so you wouldn't miss a thing compared to a regular
55 is fine. It gets there really quickly
I agree on the price. But I thought the 55 thing is a scooter limit. If they stay under that and under “x” amount of cc’s you don’t need a license.
