The crazy thing about this video is ..I have that phone still unopened with the plastic wrap around,I upgraded my phone contract and the network gave me that phone free 😂😂
Hi, there. I have a whole collection from hTC ONE M7, ONE Max, E8, M8, M9+, E9+ dual sim, and Desire 12+. M8 owns the finest texture and ergonomic shape due to its thin, round and blunt one-piece aluminum body, in my opinion, it's appearance is one of a kind in the ONE series. It's trendy even after 9 years. Speraking of apps functionality, apart from replacing a new battery, I also upgraged it to leanageOS based on Android 9.0. It brings sleek swiping and scrolling to her without doubt. There's a trade off between slim outlook and battery durability, so I'm not going to make M8 my primary but a spare phone, and using it to dig out shopee coins from time to time to reclaim my investment on it. |o| Thanks for sharing, dude. 🤗🤗
Hi @watchfan89355509 Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It’s great to hear that you were able to upgrade in to leanageOS. If I ever get the chance to try it myself I will create a short tutorial for everyone. That is a good way to use it instead of a primary.
One thing I just don't like with this phone is uncommon navigation button. Maybe already used to be with common navigation Android I can say this I remembered when I forgot brought phone to school, I borrowed security's phone to call my Mom. It was HTC, maybe entry level model, and it has same navigation layout as on video 😅
My phone broke and tried to find new phones, but as I searched I realized they almost all look the same. So what I want to buy now are phones with unique and sexy looks(older phones). I picked LG G6 btw, I plan to flash an updated custom rom called Lineage OS in it to make it’s software modern.😂
They use the last few software updates to slowly slow down the phone so you think its time to buy a new phone. (Around the time their new phone comes out) its obvious. Thats why i dont do the last 2 or 3 updates.
@user-li6ns2lk3z Many of the in built functions of the phone still work. Unfortunately Most of the popular google apps do not work due to the OS being too old. Especially the social media apps.
@user-li6ns2lk3z Good Choice! Just be mindful that Android 7s google support will seem to end October of 2024, I would suggest Looking into a custom Rom to put on the device.
@@SonyPii That is a shame. Most phone cameras where going through a phase during that time. It seems more megapixels could not save the Xperia Z2 Camera.

That's really cool!
Can I buy it
still using my M7
@starc. That's cool to hear.
Can you use youtube and playstore apps?
I've recently bought the OnePlus Nord 4, it has a very simular unibody metal body design as the old HTC One phones (and it's 5G).

Yes, I can agree that it has some wacky navigation.

That is cool, The LG G6 is a good choice. I plan on flashing the HTC one M8 with Lineage OS. Stay tuned for that!

@@DinosaurTalksTech i just want cheap phone with ir blaster. yeah maybe i need to install older version of google apps😆
I considered this one of these in 2014 but I went with an Xperia Z2 instead
Good Choice! The Xperia Z2 has a bigger battery, a better camera and more ram.
@@DinosaurTalksTech It was a good phone, but the camera was over hyped. It had a lot of megapixels but I was never happy with the photo quality.

@@DinosaurTalksTech It was good in strong light situations. Only samsung handles low light well back then, I think.
