Looks Awesome!! I'm currently helping my daughter and son-in-law with a restoration of at 1972 30' Airstream Ambassador. We repaired the frame (like you did), and gutted the entire inside, walls and all. Replaced all the plumbing and electrical, took out the vista windows and cleaned/resealed/reinstalled (had to get to them when the inside skin was off so we could use buck rivets to reinstall). Installed new propane lines, and just finished installing 1 of 3 fans. Still have A/C to do then reinsulate and reapply the inside skins. We'll be painting the skins much like you did once we get them back on and all the holes cut for the new electrical outlets. Then a new floor, walls, cabinets, frig, stove top and microwave. Would love to see how you renovate your bathroom. Our layout was exactly like yours was. We opted for a composting toilet and converted the old black tank to a gray tank (put a valve on end of the sewer pipe so the gray water flows into the old black tank). We've got the drains in for a shower, in the same spot it looks like your putting in yours, so seeing how you approach that monster would be awesome. We started this build in mid March and hope to finish by mid July. I'm retired and my son-in-law took 14 weeks off from work so we're in full time renovation mode. Best wishes on your finishing out of the Airstream.
Content aside, which I always enjoy. I have to say watching your videos I don't recall ever seeing two people that seem more made for each other as a couple as you two. Truly great to see, your daughters are very lucky young ladies. Keep up the great work and content.
Make sure you share the bathroom when you finish it- amazing camper! You should do a Motorhome next. I’m trying to convince my husband to buy one and renovate it with me. So far he is not biting 😂!
I’d love to see how you’re progressing with all of the house renovations. The other stuff is great (aaaaaall the Amazon return pallets 😂) but really got into you for investment advise, renos and flips x
SAME! I miss the rental videos and such but they do the pallets because they kinda got on track with TH-cam doing those and it probably helps the algorithm. I say keep this one for pallets since that is what it grew on and start a new one for all things investing / home things!!! I’d watch both
OK, so it's retro and it's riveted together. "Rosie the Riveter" should fit the bill. My favorite as I've had several school buses and a huge camper from 1961 is "El Peregrino" or The Wanderer. Love you guys, too!
I love it and thanks for sharing all what you went through to finish it. I really like how the kitchen cabinets turned out and the cane looks better than I expected.
Oh my goodness, thank you for the tip to use a scrap piece of vinyl planking to pound the pieces in place! I'm going to be laying vinyl planking soon and this is really going to come in handy. Thank you again!!
I have been around campers for years. You should take it to a scale unloaded and then load all of your stuff in it and check the weights as well. When you pack the distribution of weight is a big thing often over looked. Also check the tires not just for tread and dry rot but also check the date codes. Often times with campers the tires look ok but they are really old and a blow out waiting to happen. Lastly have someone check the wheel bearings and brakes!
I am a very expert seamstress and I am not hating your iron on tape for your seams. Also the way you did the cushions. Don’t hate on yourself. I am very proud of what you did. Better than a non sewer doing a bad job. Looks amazing.
I like how you all decorated it and the stick-on wallpaper on the inside of the door is a nice touch. The curtains look nice, including the one into the sleeping area. I love how you put the fireplace at an angle and the boarding behind it gives it a little beachy feel. Love the tabletop, and decoration on the top that goes with the pillows. Looks like you will have some room in the bathroom as well when you finish it. I like that table, which is the same kind Airstream puts in their campers. I subscribed so I can follow your progress. Great job Jamie and Sarah. Love the black rectangular sink with the gold facet, it just pops. I also like the gold on the light fixtures which also pops. The U-Shape table seating / bed is nice. You all done a great job. I have not thought of a name at this time. I also like the rattan covers on the storage and cabinet doors and handles. I have an Induction cooktop and I found a lot of pots and pans that are Induction ready, including a nice square grill pan that I found at Walmart under $30. I can use it on my NuWave Induction cooktop. Cute little Retro fridge. If I were not living with my sister, I would get either a Tiny House or an older Airstream and have a company like "Timeless Travel Trailers" fix it up for me, and I would like a sink like your, and make the cooktop and I would also add an LG Microwave/convection oven built in under the cabinet and get a dual NuWave Induction cooktop that I can put away when not using it. I want it all electric and not have to deal with propane tanks and refilling them or having to turn them off to travel in some tunnels (especially in the Northeast). I love what you are doing, taking an older trailer and giving it new life.
I bought a 1990 Excella 1000 about 8 years ago give or take. I worked on the renovation while living in it. Don’t try that! I finally got completely burned out & put it in storage and moved to Hawaii for what will be 5 years. I’m headed back in December to finish & get it ready to sell. The good thing is prices have increased over the years, so I’m hoping to make 40k to 50k. It’s 90% complete, so a shorter project ahead. I had to replace all 4 corners which was no fun 😢 I have $30k invested so far & still have the bathroom to gut & redo. Yours is so cute!
I love these kinds of videos from you guys because we get to see Sarah’s unique style and Jaimes handy work! Hopefully we can see the bathroom in a video in the near future 🙂 Looks amazing!
Looks like you guys dealt with issues great as they came along! I would be worried most about abating future leak issues, keeping up with that will be the largest possible problem. Going on the road causes things to flex but, it does look beautiful.
I love the airstream. I been wanting one but I know they can be high. We had a bus that was made into a camper when I was a kid and we loved it. And the wallpaper was such a cool idea, especially on the door. We live in a mobile home and I promise my husband I wouldn't paint but I just might have to use some of that wallpaper as an accent wall.
This is stunning! My dream is to redo an airstream. We did a 1969 FAN Styleliner last year and we adore it. Her name is Fanny. I also used a lot of fabric tape, glue etc because I also don’t sew well. I love the style you picked. Very cool!
Wow, you both did an amazing job on the Airstream!! It looks beautiful and I can't wait to see the bathroom finished! You are such a lovely couple..💜❤💜
I just picked up a 74 sovereign and am nervous about the restoration, but having seen your video I think it will be fun. The 31’ length is a bit much so I’m considering shortening the thing, maybe even making it an off road style, thoughts? Anyone in the comments think that would be cool?
I just discovered you guys (TH-cam suggested one of your videos when I opened TH-cam yesterday) and ended up binge watching a bunch of your videos last night into really really late in the morning...you guys are amazing!!!! I only recently discovered that TH-cam had content I could learn from...I thought it was just for posting vacation videos like I do 😆. I would love to see what software you guys use to edit your videos and create the thumbnails; I've never seen that talked about on TH-cam before and everyone on here has the same thumbnail looks. I've only edited ski videos with whatever basic s/w my computer comes with which isn't able to do 90% of what I see here. I love and appreciate how honest you guys are with all that you do so I just subscribed and am looking forward to your future videos! In the meantime, I guess I need to go tear off the granny skirts from my 30 year old living room furniture 🤣. Go Blue!!
I liked the blue better on the cabinets but maybe the green looked better with the wallpaper? Also I'm not a fan of orange at all but everyone had different tastes. It is a huge job to renovate vintage RVs, you usually have to tear them down to the studs.
Great video awesome renovation in the beginning you were going to have two beds for the kids now you only have one where does the other one sleep just curious?
Fantastic reno... Love it. I have a 73 argosy that works fine, but someday I would like to renovate. In your video I noticed it wasn't a shell off renovation, but you were still able to replace the sub floor. Was there any issues with getting the sub floor back in to the c-channel? I would like to avoid a shell-off reno, but have seen many videos saying it better to do it that way. Another question is regarding the interior paint, which I thought looked awesome by the way. Jamie applied 2 coats of Kiltz primer and then I was wondering what brand of paint you went with for the final? Also, did you have to do anything to the walls, such as sanding or cleaning, to ensure the paint would stick. Thanks so much for your inspiring videos!
Thanks for the great video! We are starting out Airstream reno and I am curious about the tool you used for the dent removal. I see it was air powered... is that something we can rent and how did you find it worked for the dents? We don't have many and the ones we have are not creased... so I am hopeful. Thanks!
Im slightly confused… they mentioned another camper, but his light hack, the wallpaper, kitchen cabinets all sound/look like the one they did before? Is this just all the clips together?
How about naming her “Joy”? It keeps a cute emotion theme but she’s graduating from situational happiness to the constant joy that she can choose to have in Christ :)
I thought you had bought a new one. Then I realized that this is the same air stream. This is a rerun. Lol. I still love it all over again.

Thank you guys for being a TH-cam couple that doesn't hate each other. 😅 Love you guys.
That green in the kitchen is just right. Nice job!
Yes! Thank you!
What an adventure you two had. I congratulate you on a job well done. I'm glad you agreed on a great color for the kitchen cabinets.
Thanks so much!
Name suggestion: Daisy! Very retro. :)
Wishing you all the very best!

This is so beautiful, I hope you enjoy every minute of time spent in it! Thanks for sharing- learned a lot!

Your welcome! Good luck with your lvp!
I love the cabinet paint color! What a cute fireplace!
Love this new project. So happy for you. Thank you for sharing.

'Groovy Retro' .... love it! ..... ❤❤❤❤❤ ....... (Sarah, you are so beautiful)
It’s gorgeous! The cost and the time will fade as you use it!
You both ROCK. I love watching you work. I don’t think there is too much you cannot do. Thanks for sharing. I love it. It looks awesome. ❤️❤️❤️

🎉
Love her! The two of you are so gifted and talented and work well as a teams! Here’s to making wonderful memories in your Airstream!
Great video! Thanks for sharing the ins and outs of a huge undertaking like this! Very well shot and explained. The finished result looks awesome!!

DAmnnn JAime you did 98 % of the renovation on your own. Kudos to you
You two are So Talented!! Great video! mahalo nui. You guys make me smile. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you so much!! Mahalo! 😎

Fantastic transformation! Call her Dreamy, the Streamy.
It turned out beautifully! 😍
Thank you! 😊
🎉
The name Anemone is Greek for wind...apropos for an Airstream, I think! Good luck!
Such a lucky couple to have a renovated airstream. Well done! ;)
I love the airstream. I been wanting one but I know they can be high. We had a bus that was made into a camper when I was a kid and we loved it. Can’t wait to see the bathroom!
VERY NICE GUYS 😊 DESIGN BEAUTIFUL
Wow, you both did an amazing job on the Airstream!! It looks beautiful and I can't wait to see the bathroom finished! You are such a lovely couple..💜❤💜
Love this new adventure. Happy travels!
Nice looking camper!
Love this!!! Looks amazing guys 🙌
Looks great! Love the wallpaper!
Love the blue
Oh I love this!!! ❤❤❤
I would name her Utopia the definition is “an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect”
Nice work!! We are working on remodeling one of these right now too

Big Blue😊😊
Large Marge! I've missed you!
LOVE ❤️ LOVE ❤️ LOVE
Can you show how the twin beds convert into a king size? also what did you do with the holes on the walls once you everything?
Awesome job!
I liked the blue better on the cabinets but maybe the green looked better with the wallpaper? Also I'm not a fan of orange at all but everyone had different tastes. It is a huge job to renovate vintage RVs, you usually have to tear them down to the studs.
She's lovely. You really did a great job. Can you make her middle name Sunshine??
Another one! Dang y'all go and go. I thought you did the airstream already? I must be tripping.
Please show the inside of your house.
Coming soon! 😊
We need another furniture flip. It's been a while we have seen Jamie "rip the skirt"
Looks great. You're right, a lot of work but worth it. Have you considered bunk beds on one side.
Great video awesome renovation in the beginning you were going to have two beds for the kids now you only have one where does the other one sleep just curious?
I LOVE those gold globe fixtures, what are they? I have an airstream like motorhome that I'd love to update
Can you link the inserts you used heater and stove top it looks great!
Great Job!! Thank You... Looks great. :-)

Jamie definitely bought that shirt at Dan Flashes.
😂
Hi there - an a amazing reno where did you get your table for dining please?
I love this!! Where can I find the details in your Shasta flip? Such at teaser clip!! 😅
Thanks for the great video! We are starting out Airstream reno and I am curious about the tool you used for the dent removal. I see it was air powered... is that something we can rent and how did you find it worked for the dents? We don't have many and the ones we have are not creased... so I am hopeful. Thanks!
What did you use to strip the clear coat? If mine comes out that good, I'll just reclear it. The mirror finish is cooler though....😎✌️
Is there a picture or post that shows the kids bedroom pulled out?
Hey guys, great job! You did not ended up using the turquoise stick on tiles for the kitchen after all?
I was so nervous that Jamie was going to bump his head while he was talking about the AC, his head was so close to the rod but he fit perfectly! 🤣
Loves this!❤Great job - has a retro vibe - link to the wallpaper per chance?
the telescoping base for the table where did you get it?
The blue in the kitchen is great! The wallpaper has to go. Get the peel and stick tile!
I love it ❤
That was a lot of hard work. Have you had time to use her often? She's beautiful
Thanks so much! We’ve gotten her out a few times each year, but hoping to camp more this summer since our house will be done(hopefully 🤞🏻)
Where was the water getting in?
"Metal Head" LOL
What state did you purchase the Airstream?
Would you do it again?
The green works better with all the other colours
LOOOOOOVVVVEEEE ITTTT im kinda jellos becose we jace a boring house we cant paint we cant have pets it is sooo sad goopd job.❤😊
You could call her Sunny! (Sunshine)
Im slightly confused… they mentioned another camper, but his light hack, the wallpaper, kitchen cabinets all sound/look like the one they did before? Is this just all the clips together?
Yeah I think this video,is old.
Annabell !
Exquis would be the name
I hope you guys never get rid of this!

I say name her Penelope!
im so confused. is this another airstream dont you currently have one. also the house isnt your tudor house. are these old videos?
Shagin Wagon. Felicity. Silver Streak. Accent colors??
Name her Dolly. Because she is beautiful.
Name it Freeway!
How about naming her “Joy”? It keeps a cute emotion theme but she’s graduating from situational happiness to the constant joy that she can choose to have in Christ :)
How about naming her journey for all the trips you'll be taking in her
I think her name should be Fleur!
Boho Betty
