Too many people are doing makeup now. It really is getting over-saturated and I never feel that way about anything. People are just selling their fame and identity at this point.
I agree that the market is super saturated. However it’s GAGA. She could have hit it out the park. As someone who bought her perfume, multiple times since it’s release.... I am not wowed or pulled in by the products, packaging or the marketing. Idk, 😐
She should’ve came out with a more eccentric makeup line I would be here for it. Gaga screams eccentricity

I really don’t think Jackie said anything terrible? She gave constructive criticism and was tactful and diplomatic as she always is. IMHO. I think she made the products work to the best of her ability. Didn’t degrade anyone. There’s a difference between giving an opinion, and having malicious intent. This wasn’t that. I think Jackie did a good review.

Gaga has been such a fashion icon and still is. She always had such memorable looks and some a bit too strange for mainstream media. Her name itself means crazy. Her makeup brand doesn't seem to reflect her entire reputation.

As a Gaga stan, does it hurt when I hear criticism about my Mother Monster's brand? Yes. I feel that emotion
But Jackie gave her honest opinions and her critiques are actually applicable and practical enough that Haus Beauty can implement.

with each and every review I do my goal is to always make it teachable. when my palette with ABH was announced, within hours someone quickly made a video telling people it was 'horrible' and no one should buy it. the palette wasn't even out yet lmao nothing valuable or practical was offered in this person's video in a way that we could learn from it, as a brand and/or as consumers. It was just a pointless video that contributed nothing. And tbh there are a lot of youtubers out there who fall for the trap of making content like that for shock value because they know it gets views. That's NEVER the kind of content I want you guys to see when you watch my videos, even if I dislike a brand. My goofiness and roasting jokes aside, my reviews will always come from a place of actually being helpful to the brand I'm reviewing and you guys as consumers!

i was watching one of Jackie’s videos & some way me & my bf ended up watching her Old Christmas house tour. Later on that day we went to Ulta & i heard him yell from all the way across the store “hey it’s that lady we were watching earlier on Yt” And i almost had a heart attack cause i thought she was actually in the store but it was just her picture & palette. This is why people were let down, because Rihanna dropped Fenty & she had the foundations, the primer, contour/Highlight/Shimmer Sticks. Highlighters, brushes etc. I do like the Haus Products, but it’s because fenty kinda set the standard for brands unless they are indie
Tyler Lethersin but Haus IS indie though. It’s a straight up start company from the bottom up. Even with a big name like LG- she literally didn’t sign a damn deal with any of her trademarks. This is her baby.
Despite Gaga being very famous, this is an “indie brand”.

There’s a ball inside of the glam attack liquid shadows for you to shake it because otherwise the the thickness of it won’t pick up on the applicator. Trust me I have them it makes a huge difference

She should’ve stayed with the perfumes or made something better with the makeup. Fame was such a good fragrance and sold well (and actual “game changer” for it to have black-to-clear liquid) but rebranding Haus Labs for makeup was a fail. Feels like she slapped her name into a bleh makeup brand.

I had been wondering if these were gunna be chocolate girl friendly. Honestly i was surprised she didn’t launch more. Like more colors and even products. I liked the packaging. However i think she pulled it back on the gaganess to attract everyone.

You’re saying everything I was feeling the moment I saw previews of the launch. I wasn’t impressed by the packaging, the collection felt disjointed and like it was missing core makeup items, and without a cohesive branding or color story to make me want to buy it. It felt almost like repackaged makeup with lady Gaga’s name on it.
Those braids are so clean.

I agree with this review 100% I got a couple things and was really underwhelmed. It was pumped up so much and I think if Gaga’s name wasn’t on it I think it would have been a flop. And this definitely would have been a hit in like 2010 or 2012 but definitely not now. If she don’t really bring it with whatever she got next it will not work. But like I said I totally agree and thing this review is spot on.
