So much wrong in this. The raptor has forged internals … this is not a detuned raptor ecoboost. Sport puts it in 4A, not 4H. They are different It has slightly lower clearance because of the 3.73 differential. It has a 2” lift in the rear and 1” in the front. Upgraded suspension. Of course you said it’s not an off road machine without taking it off road 😂 Stopped watching after that.
You are wrong. According to Ford, the only mechanical difference between the High Output and standard EcoBoost V-6 engines are the software calibration and exhaust. If in fact the crank and the pistons are forged on the Raptor, then they are also forged on the standard EcoBoost, which is shared in various tunes with the Expedition and Lincoln Navigator. The Raptor R is a whole separate animal, and I have reviewed that separately. You are right on 4A vs. 4H. I stand corrected. The lower clearance of the Tremor, and the fixed running boards, are exactly why I didn't take it off-road. Regardless of the suspension lift, the Tremor does not perform anywhere near the capability of a Raptor, Raptor 37, Raptor R, or a Silverado ZR2---all of which I have tested off-road on this channel.
@@cliffcarreviews so you’re telling me it’s just software and exhaust. Then why are the compression ratios in the standard 3.5 10.5:1 and the HO are 10.0:1? The standard 3.5 isn’t a “detuned” HO… the HO is an upgraded version of the 3.5 which lower compression to handle higher boost. Also truck king actually took both the ZR2 and tremor off road head to head and they were closely matched. I trust him over you.
@@dennishilligoss7386 Sorry, I answered twice, but my comment is getting automatically deleted, likely because I pasted links to a PDF. It's the same 10.5:1 compression ratio. There is no difference in the turbos or other mechanicals. You can look up the specs on Ford's media website, and this is also confirmed by Ford PR.
Looking forward to taking delivery of this same spec’d truck. I like the colour and came around to having a 3.5 ecoboost after driving an AT4 6.2. I think I’ll somewhat miss the GMC. Enjoyed the video, thanks.
First time I’ve ever heard someone say they think GM’s products are better off-road, yeah I don’t think so; especially when matched against the Tremor. Then again, this dude looks more like a Tesla guy than a truck guy (real trucks, not the Cybertruck)
Sure sounded like you were in the 5.0 and not the EcoBoost unless they are piping in a fake V8 sound. And yes, I’m an F-150 5.0 owner. Did they get rid of the EcoBoost badge? There was none to be found.
Amazing Truck. I am looking forward to buying it in 5-6 years after completing my PhD.
Beautiful truck inside and out. So functional. So roomy. Perfection, I get mine with the Coyote.
Are there any noticeable differences between the Lariat and Tremor in terms of highway comfort?

Really, and where did that info come from?

6.2l is the best engine being produced currently. it's bulletproof and an amazing power curve.
Love the 2.7 in my XLT FX4 Sport, but the 5.0 is the right engine for the Tremor
This dude legitimately doesn’t know what he’s talking about…
lol seems you really pissed off the Ford crowd with the GM off-road comment! Nice truck!
Love this truck because I can’t afford a new raptor
The top trim costs as much as a base raptor lol
@@TH-camuser1aa no where close in cCnada
Nice truck!
I thought this was a tremor review. You keep calling out specs that aren’t available on this truck.
Tremor is more for overlanding as raptor is more serious off road is how I've thought about it
Ford yapmış 😎😎👍👍

My Elevation with X31 “off-road” package sucks ass 🤣
Antimatter blue. ANTIMATTER BLUE. For the love of god, if you’re going to do a review, do your homework
Yea this guy blows
Didn’t even take it off road.
As soon as he said it's not good as anything from GM (offroad) I stopped watching.

No ecoboost badge on the Tremor.
Why would people buy this instead of the Ranger Raptor??? Same price same Ford…why? Ranger Raptor is wayyy nicer than this F150
No way GM products are better off road. Absolutely not!
This is more capable off-road than the GMs.. look up what front diff it has and a rear locker you tit.
