Good review. One of the few available for this phone. I just got mine yesterday. Nearly 5 hours sot now with 48% left. Cameras are awesome for a mid ranger. Super smooth performance too. Only thing is that OnePlus phones usually have a longer range for my wifi at home. No biggie though. Very happy with my new blower. 😁
How much id tej diffrence in the range, becuse i want test my edge 20 in bed with gamę pass xcloud. :)
@@jacqstreams2000 it's actually fine. I found out my wifi extender broke and that was the main issue for my bedroom. I'd say the wifi range is not as good as my OnePlus, but on par with Samsung midrangers.

I can eek out 8-9 hrs of SoT out of the MotoG100. Granted it does have a 5000mah battery, it is still odd that the Edge 20 doesnt last quite long despite having a more efficient SoC.
144 Hz+ 4000 Mah. Sot is significantly low.
It should give you more SOT if you use it on auto refresh rate
It's regularly on sale for 300 euro nowadays, absolute steal, especially if you can find the frost white model. Gorgeous.
How to get that icon pack and clock style?
Will it support Multi User functionality, as Nokia 6.1 Plus support this functionality having Stock Android 10? Something like MS Windows or Linux OS where you can create more than one users to login into PC.
Also, is there options to set screen refresh rate like 60 or 90 or 120 Hertz?
The answer to your both questions is Yes. Multi user/Guest feature is there.
Screen refresh rate can be switched to 60Hz, Auto or 144Hz.

I have two options now Moto Edge 20 has lots of features and only two years OS updates, while Samsung A52s 5G has three years OS updates and I think 4 years security updates. Bit confusing to choose which one.
need a camera review of edge 20 man! not much videos on edge 20 on youtube.
My Moto edge is better. Like the design approach of the 20 series, yet ditch the stereo sound was a terrible decision
I can live with less battery life, but stereo speakers is a must on a phone of this price tag.

The Snapdragon 778 will be better than any Mediatek chip in this segment thanks to the GPU. Also think about custom ROMs that definitely should interest many given how Moto doesn't know or never optimises battery and camera.

It does, but only wirelessly on a supported display (or the PC you already have)
Is it fast enought? I tried mirror screen on my phone and it is impossible to play any shooters or action game due to lagging. Did you try to play on Edge 20 via miracast? Smooth gaming?

Phone is useless if connectivity is bad , also 2 years software updates is not up to Samsung or Nokia
I said that in the video. 5Ghz WiFi is sometimes flaky and when leaving some it doesn't grab onto the mobile network sometimes - only a restart fixes that.

Initial reviews and thoughts are saying the Pro is a "miss" so I might go with the Poco F3 8gb/256 for 450€ in Denmark.

Yeah, don't get the Pro. It's more expensive but doesn't really have any benefits. Faster chip isn't worth it and the 3x zoom is even more useful imo. Review is coming soon

Yes it does, I haven't noticed any big effect on colors. But I also don't use it in day to day.

Sony hasn't made a 108mp camera sensor till date it's a samsung hm2 main about the rest sensors I have no idea
he one thing which not lot of people talk about is that pixel 4a oled display causes headache and nausea in 1 out of 10 people and i am that one ..after using for 20 min i get headache ,i am to know that lcd display better when it comes to eeye strain should have bout iphoine se instead ...now the thing how i get used to pixel 4 a display i cant throw it away i feel like doing so though....any advice how to deal that display just feel so harsh on my eyes even though my eyes are allright no vision problem...people talk about less battery poor camera etc but my problem with oled display specially pixel ...alaso if i plan to buy moto edge 20 will it be same effect on me like pixel or motoedge oled could be of beeter quality or sometghin...can you pls put some light on my issue ..thank a lot ...love your reviews

Great review. I really like the look of this phone. However, you mention poor haptics? That could be a potential deal breaker for me. Last years Edge+ have great haptics according to several reviewers. Is it really that poor on Edge 20? (Eg. weak haptic response when typing on the keyboard?)
I'm confused by this review. He says it's bad haptics but a bit better than last years Edge. Thing is, last years Edge had fantastic haptics. I had it myself and it had one of the best haptics I've ever had on a phone.

You keep using it and hope there is no security flaw. Or you buy a Samsung, OnePlus or Pixel phone if you plan to keep it longer than that and don't have to worry (they provide up to 4 years).

I would stick to iPhone , Motorola two years software updates is terrible. Contrast it to your iPhone 11 which still have at least 3 year software updates. Samsung and Nokia give 3 years software updates and 4 years security updates on their mid/top end phones

@@sq9779 S21 is an excellent phone with good cameras , also for an Android phone it has long software and security updates.
I have an iPhone 11 since February last year.It is my first Apple phone, I used to think iPhone is expensive and not worth it.
But if you consider that resale value of an iPhone is much better than an Android phone, back up service if anything goes wrong is better in general (except Samsung ) and stability of the software, iPhone is worth the asking price.
I have the original Pixel ( 2016) , had to return after 3 months because of a fault, replaced by a refurbished Pixel by Google.
Now it needs battery replacement , Google in the UK has no battery replacement service. So consider this aspect of service. Samsung has shops in the UK and there should be no problem with the service. I have S10e for back up by the way. I still like pure Android software like on the Pixel. Too much bloat on the Samsung.

it is around 300 euro for edge 20 pro in china..and edge 20 is almost 290-295 euro both in China and India…almost 40% cheaper…

You said it doesn't have the best camera for it's price. Which smartphone would have better picture quality (not resolution) in your experience? I'm in the market of a smartphone in this price range and taking pictures is something I do often with my smartphone.
A Samsung A52S 5G or a Pixel 4a 5G might be a better bet for you then. If you can live with slightly less camera quality for more performance the Nord 2 is also worth a look.

Thank you for talking about the weak signal capabilities of Motorola. It's really a shame that a company which has been a pioneer of wireless technology can't create a phone that is able to catch a decent signal.

Inoltre chiedo se ha un audio buono e forte per frequente ascolto di musica su Spootify ecc. Oppure un consiglio alternativo con display non inferiore a 6.5" entro I 400 euro per l'uso sopra descritto. Grazie.
Do any of the Motorola phones have RAW processing? Is THIS Motorola able to use RAW files for better results. I use a Canon GX5 Mark 2 and gives excellent results!! However, there is confusion with some saying that any camera phone can process RAW files! This is NOT true-my Oppo A72 doesn't!! Seems I will just use the Canon-shame the only option would be a £1000 Samsung!! So much for photography being cheap using a phone!!!
RAW on phones isn't really comparable to RAW on Cameras. There isn't nearly as much data in the files to work with. You can get some more flexibility out of it, but don't expect what you know from your camera.
I love mine - but now it's gotta go. Software support has ended ;-(
