While many flagships come packing superior specs and features like wireless charging, this handset does deliver a launcher-free experience. That 6.7-inch OLED screen is a 144Hz monster, with HDR10+ support. You've got a Snapdragon 870 chipset plus 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, although there's no microSD slot, no headphone jack and no stereo speakers.
Still, the Motorola Moto Edge 20 Pro does pack in a 4500mAh battery and quad lens camera, headed up by a 108MP sensor. And it can also handle Genshin Impact on maxed out settings, no sweat.

"Flagships" these days are not what they used to be....such a shame
A real flagship wouldn't be missing things like SD slot, jack, ip68, wireless charging etc😭

s21 ultra is expensive and boring.. International phones have the best price and nicest phones 😍. and I'm from the USA

Great I been waiting for this review.
Only problem with Motorola flagship devices is that they only promise one software update and two years security patches. Kind of lousy for a flagship device. Makes them almost feel disposable for people who plan to keep the device for longer.
Yes I agree. But even after no update one can use for a year more easily.
So if u buy now. Easily 3 years you can use.

Could you please let us know whether it is possible to hide the notch? On some Huawei phones, it is possible to not use the respective part of display for regular content, but still use the display area around the notch for status icons + battery indicator + time.

12:40 I think as far as I know there's no 2mp rubbish macro lens but that 16mp ultrawide itself acts as macro which gives very good macro clarity.. Please confirm this
Ordered mine, waiting for the ‘vegan leather’ variant (I’m not vegan, I like the finish though). In AU we only pay in the $700’s which means in the UK this is way overpriced. For the money here it’s fantastic since anything close to this would be early $1000’s here. Pixel 6 Pro may be our best competition, once it’s released. Thanks for the opening and show off :)
Yeah but beware, the edge 20 pro that we are seeing advertised online here in Aus for A$700 to 900 is only 4G, it says 5G dual sim but if you look at the specs they are not actually a 5G phone, the advertisement wording is sneaky. The only 5G model I can find online is A$1400 plus and ships from the UK.

@@protenpinner Yeah the 5G isn't relevant unless you are in a metro area that actually has it, we have it in the area I live and also the area I work in Perth so I wouldn't buy a phone without it now, the network speed is phenomenal I have measured 600Mb/s using speed test a few times. I was only looking on ebay, the misleading 4G/5G advertising is really common on the Chinese ebay stores, the main header image will say 5G and when you read the technical specs they say the phone accepts a 4G or 5G sim (which of course it does they are the same) but when you read the detailed specs it's not actually a 5G phone.

Look, what I learned to do is to type "the issues with (BLANK)" on youtube to see what I'm getting myself into! Cuz marketing focuses on the pros and not the cons and you end up bamboozled. The poco had a dimming issue which has been fixed, it has ads which can be turned off easily, and no headphone jack but a dongle!
Everything else is literally top-tier and best value EVER.

There is no such issue with Edge 20 series, just go for it, I'm planning to buy Edge 20 pro this diwali if it's under 34k if not then I'll go with standard Edge 20.

I wish more phones were plastic but then they would Last longer which isnt what manufacturers want
@@erikandreas4896 For this price and because they're insisting on glass backs, I want them to have a metal chassis. A little more protection for the display in general and even more so for this Motorola, since it has an amoled one.
Now, if they're going to make the chassis out of plastic I'd want the back also to be plastic and made in one piece, together with the chassis. Also a reduction in price of at least £130, since plastic is a cheaper material.
Or they could made it out of a solid piece of metal (chassis+back), but that wouldn't all them many units.

End of the game for 2021 2022. 3.2 octa with 12 gb ram. This is perfection.
One feature that Moto phones have, which is frustratingly lacking in pretty much any other phone is the Flip to DND gesture.
Inexplicable that others don't have it - I find it hugely useful.
Only Motorola & Pixel phones have those .. and for me it is very useful. 🙂

The problem with smartphones these days is that the top players have taken hold of all the sales points. If you look at your mobile provider, they will try to force you into Apple or Samsung. Maybe they throw some Huawei/OPPO/Xiaomi in the mix but rarely will they offer you a Nokia, Sony, Motorola or any other reputable brand.
it's a shame that they gave up the plug ft headphones. I thought imwas like a signature for me

I was looking at this phone, but chose the Zenfone 8 Flip, think I made the right choice
