Did you watch the entire video? Stewie says that she froze some of her eggs while she was recovering from her ACL tear. Ruby came from one of those frozen eggs and a sperm donor, so technically she is Stewie's daughter....she just used a gestational carrier to carry her

For those gripping that “it’s not their baby” and the likes…..if you had paid attention, you would have heard them mention that shortly after she tore her ACL….Breanna froze some of her eggs. This blessing is a result of that, a sperm donor (which who cares?! Plenty of single straight women do that), and a gestational carrier. Breanna knew she wanted to be a young mother and this was her way of achieving that.
