He 100% would have been what John Legend is right now if he wasnt slap with that lawsuit. Like everyone else said, he should have paid the reward, but he probably had a lawyer who thought it would be an easy case to win since the laptop was compromised and suspicions that it could have been him.
Ryan Leslie claimed he made like $16 million from investing $100k in Apple stock years ago, yet he can't even pay off a $1 million lawsuit. He even had to go to desperate measures to hand over the rights to his entire catalogue - just goes to show you that Ryan isn't completely truthful and is probably broke.

But the dishonest business practices and scams I saw him carry out left a sick feeling in my stomach. There’s a saying that goes something like “never meet your idols”. So true
