    So many talented artists from that moment in time didn't the careers they probably should of had. Jimmy Cozier, Jahiem, Koffee Brown, India Arie, Musiq, and Sunshine Anderson were all influential during that era of r& b and neo soul.

    My late husband and I would always go back and forth about Glenn Lewis sounding like Stevie Wonder. I am glad that someone other than myself states that he sounds just like Stevie. I have always been a fan of Glenn Lewis. I remember hearing more "Its Not Fair" than "Don't You Forget It". So I find it strange that it says it was barely heard. On another note, the making an album in 7 days feat, has been done before. Back in '96 by Tupac with The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. Just an FYI.

    • @JuicyPopEntertainment

    • @nena_gz
      @nena_gz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      🤷🏾‍♀️ He does sound like Stevie, lol. His riffs and his choice of chord progressions are very Stevie, lol. ☝🏾 But this is the tea... As a musician, if you haven't studied Stevie (and the other greats) then you aren't a real musician. If you haven't internalized the influence from this level of genius then you aren't a real musician! 🤣😂🤣 So "sounding like Stevie" is a great compliment because his sheet music defies logic! Stevie can bend a chord to the breaking point and uses accidentals like sprinkles on ice cream.

    Glenn Lewis' BACK FOR MORE 2003 album had Jay-Z on it, and some killer songs. It was a diddy bop without Diddy. You guys really missed out on a banger.

    I remember when his song Don’t You Forget It came out I loved the song. I also was able to see him perform it live at a club in LA. I was in front of the stage singing along with him. He’s so handsome too omg

    Was a fan, but can’t support lazy artists that don’t want to work and consistently put music out because their confidence gets a little shaken and they give up boy stop
