I think a lot of your die hard subscribers would love an in depth tutorial on the way you make your own tinted moisturizer with the foundation or any foundation. I just really find it interesting to to mix and use makeup in different ways than what they were intended for. I love old school tutorials.
I really enjoy the Lisa’s skin tint. It does last all day, does not break down when my t-zone gets shiny. It feels great. I use T5 on my red areas of my skin and T8 over the rest of my face. I just love how it feels. I always get compliments when I wear it. I’m a minimalist when it comes to my makeup… I am 51
I love it as well. I am surprised by this review. This tint is mainly skin care with some tint. Watch Lisa’s video explaining how this came about and you will be floored about the quality of the skin care ingredients it includes.
Love the quick review videos. I do like the Lisa Eldridge skin tint BUT it’s just not glowy on my skin and can be a little drying… I do have dry/dehydrated skin and always prep really well, but it’s still drying unfortunately… but it is beautiful when I first put it on x
Hello Shelbey, I got shade T4 and it’s beautiful for an everyday wear. It’s a neutral leaning more warm, but not too warm. It does stay on in CA weather. It’s been in the mid 80’s. I will try to mix the moisturizer with the foundation 😮. I also love the 2C lip liner.
Thank you so much- you helped me a lot with the shade selection. I need something darker than T3. And- not being very dewy- it looks like the perfect choice for the upcoming hot and humid summer here in Italy. I wish I could swatch them before buying…
I have combo skin and I have chosen t5 reduces my redness beautifully as has slight olive undertone. Holds well on my skin and it became my instant favourite as is undetectable.
Great video. The customer service team at Lisa Eldridge was so helpful with color matching me. I wanted the T3 but they cautioned against it and so I got the T4 and adore it! I think you and I are skin twins so wondering what shade you are in her foundation please!
Watched WAY Bandy the famous makeup artist many years ago mix a drop of foundation a drop of moisturizer and a drop of liquid blush and it made the most beautiful skin tint.Hope you can try this sometime.Perhaps Daniel Sandler, mac face and body and any light moisturizer.
I would love to know ( on a regular basis) either on your instagram or your TH-cam, where you get your clothes? Your instagram is full of such pretty and COMFORTABLE looking tops, in each post. Would you mind including where the top comes from, somewhere in the post? What are the main stores you purchase from? I hope I am not being too intrusive? Just absolutely love your style as well as everything you post about! ❤ Your hard work and dedication to each post is amazing.
I gotta ask... What moisturizers do you mix in with the foundation to make it a tinted moisturizer. What the prep like. I think so many of us would enjoy an in depth tutorial on that
I bought T6 also since I loved T3 but it was too light, but the T6 seems to have a more golden tint. I don’t find it to be a neutral like the T3. I’m going to use T3 with a drop of T6 to darken it a tad.
I emailed them for help with shade matching, and they said T6. I never would have picked T6 on my own (I usually use the same shades as you do), but it’s spot on. It looks darker on the website than in real life. They got back to me within an hour with a shade match - it was super quick!
@@ShelbeyWilson I got T6 and T8. I wear 10 or 11 in her foundation. The T8 would be my summer shade and the T6 is slightly too light for me. If I recall, you wear 4.5 in Luminous Silk? The T6 reminds me of that and I think it would be a good summer shade for you. I know you're a neutral but I've also seen you pull off a golden undertone. I believe Lisa applies the T6 first in her demo video so you can see its undertones in action. It's almost too neutral for my golden olive complexion so I think it would suit you.
@@ShelbeyWilsonlike you I found T6 the perfect color but a tad too light…I contacted them and ended up buying T 6 but it’s not the same tone as T3, so I think using T3 with a drop of T6 is the only way to get the right color for me.
does LE ever run any sales? I really want this, but man the price tag is a little steep lol. Ive been on the fence about it since it was released and have yet to pull the trigger on it.
@@truebaronesse5653 awww thanks, darn they are already sold out of my shade. Said shipping was only $7 which shocked me but doest matter anyway I guess lol. thanks anyway
I love Lisa’s lip products and eye shadows but I dislike the complexion makeup! This looked too foundationy and patchy, emphasized dryness I didn’t even knew I had, sat on top of my pores, settled in wrinkles, moved around and separated. Seems just a little lighter formula then the foundation which as well didn’t work for me. 😢
@abbyk36 I found it to be the exact way on my skin. No matter how I prepped beforehand, it always dried to a weird powdery like finish and clung to texture I didn’t know I had. I wanted to love it like everyone else seems to, but it was a big letdown😞
I find it works good over Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream, but I simply can't get it to look good over ANY sunscreen. I tried LRP UVmune (both fluid and hydrating cream one), Beauty of Joseon, Evy, Hada Labo UV white... it just doesn't work well over any spf. It sinks into fine lines, doesn't set, starts separating, looks "polka dotty"... and I simply don't see a point in a tinted moisturizer, if I can't wear it over spf. Glad I got samples and didn't waste my money on a full bottle.
Maybe it's because I mostly used InnBeauty Extreme Cream underneath (very dewy moisturizer) it always had more of a glow on me but I can see what you mean about the slight powdery finish. If I applied heavier layers without prepping my skin I did notice one day where it appeared to have that flat powder finish.
You should all give Sculpted by Aimee’s tinted moisturiser a go. It wears beautifully & is inexpensive. I received the LE T6 shade tinted moisturiser & have to say I’m disappointed. I don’t like the powdery finish & the polka dot look when it dries down. Back to Sculpted by Aimee for me.
I was disappointed as well and really wanted to love it like everyone else seems to! It’s an expensive skin tint that unfortunately does nothing flattering for my skin

The skin tint looks great, especially for six hours on! Also, can't wait until your shadow sticks are available. Love the one you're wearing in this.

do you wear spf when you wear foundation or skin tints? i’m curious on how the seamless foundation wears when you create a tint out of it
I look forward to your videos! Thanks for such a great and thorough review! ❤

I just ordered T6. I can't wait until it arrives. I hope it's not over-hyped. 🤞🏻
Looks good. You look amazing. How does it compare to laura mercier or nars tinted moisturisers?
How does this compare with the ritual defille tint? Great video 🎉❤
I ordered T3 initially and felt like it was off, so I ordered T4 and absolutely love it! 🥰

Try T6 it is neutral but not too dark. That is what I have and works

Thank you for sharing ❤...I adore the skin tint, likely more than fundation by inch :), only because for me its quicker and bottle is more practical
Love your eye look! Would you consider doing a good old fashioned tutorial on how you created it?

How does it compare to Estee Lauder Double Wear sheer?
I would say slightly less coverage but similar longevity!
Always beautiful!
Hi, New subscriber here, I'm your skin twin. What shade did you pick up in Lisa's foundation 😊 Great review video. Thank you. Gill 🇬🇧 ❤

Hi 👋🏼 ❤

I find this skin tint to be very drying and texture emphasizing and no one is talking about it.
