      @@kmancrx but a. Helmet will make absolutely no difference if he gets bowled over by a truck doing 70mph other than a false sense of security. Where as at under 25kph where most bicyclists spend something like 90% of the time the effects of any crash are just scratches or if going faster a broken collarbone which a helmet won’t help. Fact is helmets laws have been shown to be bad for health because whenever they’ve been introduced they cut bicycling rates by 40%. This is especially the case with woman who don’t want helmets fucking with their fancy hair dos.

      @@mickvonbornemann3824 That was kind of an elementary school maturity answer. I'm an avid rider and it is a special form of fantastical thinking to imagine that you'll ride and forever never fall and that at least on one of those falls that your head won't get the worst of it. Well a head not worth protecting speaks loads about the value of that head aye?

      @@Thetailofthetrident I’ve been riding bicycles for 50 odd years & all I’ve gotten are scratches & basically untreatable broken collarbones. Btw plenty of scientific studies have been done showing bicycle helmets don’t pan out - just about every jurisdiction that’s introduced enforced bicycle helmet laws has had a 40% cut in cycling rates the same year, making the laws bad for people’s health. Plus as most cyclists spend 90% of their cycling under 25kph meaning if the cyclist stacks his bike it just prevents scratches. While it give false sense of security because it will make bugger all difference if the bicyclist is bowled over by a motorised vehicle. Also by far the most common serious injuries bicyclists get are broken collarbones & helmets don’t help there. Bicycle helmet laws also fail cost benefit tests. You go to the continent & other than the very odd rarity virtually the only people wearing bicycle helmets are tourists & expats from the English speaking world. Yet with higher cycling rates, hospitalisation rates for cyclists are less & life expectancies are higher in general.
      Btw have you noticed that accident rates in the grand tours are way higher since helmets were made compulsory in UCI road racing in 2003? Plus serious injuries have gone up not down too.

    The bike is fantastic.But you shouldnt mis lead people. What your advertising is not $2500, your looking more at $3500 for a basic package. You shouldnt be advertising saying its $2500. You have custom suspension extra for the 48v battery, extra for the 1000 wt motor, extra for the colour display, extra for the suspension fork, 2 extra upgrades on the drive train.. extra for the carbon fibre handle bar, extra for the carbon sports seat post, extra for the jumbo tyres.

    I've been following this bike for some time now. They have four different models now and this is their least expensive. Some reviews on TH-cam are very critical of the bike chain constantly coming off, and some bad customer service. But overall it is very reliable and well made. Being in control of that many components on your bike build, before it even gets to you, is very convenient and they do honor warranties very well from what I've seen. Currently looking at the Ristretto bikes...works of art too!

      I chose against mid drive because it does wear out the chain faster--750 watts is equal to a pro biker like lance armstrong--so being able to put that power down daily has an effect and in races they changed chains like every 500 miles--and a motor can put out the max output anytime you get on it.

      WRONG. This is not their least expensive. This is their most expensive model at $4000. I know it says 2500 in the title, but i just checked the customization page and the stuff that are in the video are not for free, you have to pay extra on alot of the modules that would result in the crazy performance of this ebike. The 2500 is too good to be true. Most likely this guy is unknowingly shilling because the china manufacture told him it was for 2500, so he just assume this bike is for 2500. And now people be dupe into thinking they getting the fast speedy bike, with all those extra such as colored panels. The 2500 doesnt include any of those extra. Its the very barebone, slower vewrsio

Never had so much fun, loved it, best £600 I ever spent, here in the UK in Yorkshire where I live nobody at all had an e-bike, the fun I had with car drivers "WTF?!?!!!!" looks as I whizzed along not even peddling was ace!!!! - Now I'm seeing kids on sur-rons and e-scooters on a daily basis. Back then that bike was the business and everyone I let have a go absolutely loved it. Always amazed me how they took soooo long for ppl here in the UK to get into e-bikes.

      You ain't seen nothing yet, the oil companies suppressed ebikes and cars for over a century, we got alot of catching up to do. If they can find away to mass produce carbon nano tube then the power to weight ratio will be seriously AWESOME 😎💪🇬🇧👍

    • @DFX2KX
      @DFX2KX 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ianmangham4570 They didn't really *suppress* either, at least not for most of that time, and not at all for E-bikes. E-cars did well early on in cities when you bought petrol at the *pharmacist's* (cars ran on white gas, what we'd know as Colman fuel now). However, gas became easier to get than reliable electricity and lead-acid batteries are terrible for EVs. Hence the gas car (and even the steam car) overtook the electric car.
      E-bikes have been around since the late 90s. But Lead Batteries are heavy, which hurts bikes even more. They've only *really* become practical with lithium ion, and they're still painfully slow and expensive compared to the gasbike counterparts. my TSDZ2 cost me $360, and makes 768 watts. A Zeda 100 makes 2,250, and you can make even more with a performance package with the whole thing under 300. Not counting the battery I needed to buy (10A@48v, the same as this bikes smaller size, that was an extra $180)
      The only thing an E-Bike really does let you do unarguably better is break traffic laws, because you're quiet and not drawing attention to yourself.

    The former is the only sub-$2500 ebike I know with a 52V 990Wh+ battery and a motor rated at 750W sustained/1300W peak while the latter is a $5000 electric motorcycle with a 4,000Wh battery that can go 80MPH.

In the mean time I want to get 1 or 2 more ebikes to take them on the local trails when friends come over. All 3 friends I have gone out with have loved them. The Crosscurrent X is too slow to compare to this Nireeka. The Hyperscorpion is slower but has more features for the same price. So a tradeoff. When I looked at Nireeka website you could do full spec for $2850. For a 38mph ebike that's about the best deal right now. Lower end is probably about the same speed as the cafe racer which also looked "retro cool," but I can see how the handle bar thing would get on a taller person's nerves. it'd be interesting to see just how much the lower end version compromises, but I doubt they're going to send you a second despite the glowing review.

      I'm looking at the $1700 NCM Moscow Plus from Leon Cycles or the $2500 Crosscurrent X from Juiced Bikes. Both are killer values.
      At their respective prices, the *Moscow Plus* sports a 768Wh battery and German motor rated at 500W sustained/750W peak while the *Crosscurrent X* includes a 990Wh+ battery and a Bafang motor rated at 750W sustained/1300W peak. Both have adequate suspension for light trails as well.

    Thanks for a very nice video! Can you convert this to a Bosch mid drive and belt driven with a Rolhoff rear wheel hub? Will as it is pull a trailer? I would never go that fast as speed doesn't mean as much to me. I'm thinking of a Burley Coho XC one wheeled trailer.

    Definitely nice specs for the price. But you can build your own for half the price, minus the carbon fiber 😅. My diy bbs02 goes 35 on a good day and it gets the same range, sometimes better

      Zero chance I'd ever pay 3500+ for a hardtail with a factory inefficient sqaurewave controller.
      Having the heaviest mid drive of all time running stock controller on such a light frame.... kinda a dildo move.
      The M600 with a VESC or Innotrace Sinusoidal controller would be tits.u
      But that's expensive af. Just gimme a CYC 5kw mid and maybe 60v

      Not everyone wants to build their own bike, hence pre-built bikes such as this bike are very popular. 😊

    Big question, does it have Seatpost and handlebar extensions to use as an electric-assisted bycle?

  • @vaprex
    @vaprex ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If you add all the options (which it appears this bike has) the price is ~$4100. ($2500 is the very basic model, no upgrades... No carbon seat, no carbon handlebars, half the wattage motor, half the output battery, cheaper hub, on and on...). Still, it's a pretty nice eBike for $2500, and even with the upgrades to a $4000 bike, it's not a bad deal at all - IF you are ok with having a $4K ebike that takes 4 months to get from China.... And good luck on parts/service if you need it!

    In China, riding an electric bicycle is more convenient than driving, because it is too crowded everywhere in China, there is a large population and every family has a car, so if I don't go far, I like riding an electric bicycle.But China's electric bicycles look like this.
