  • In today’s ASP Extra lesson, I get to interview Bill Blowers of Tap Rack Tactical and Primary and Secondary about what a SWAT trainer and team leader got out of the class we took together with Forge Tactical on Structure Assault. Bill reminded me that brilliance in the basics is the key, and he has some great lessons here about teaching and learning and getting better. Good stuff!

    I think a great basic video for you to cover on this channel would be something along the lines of how to slowly squeeze the trigger for clean, consistant shots from long distances versus snapping down on the trigger. It helps me with hunting (deer season is upon us) but I'm sure there are excellent points you could educate us on by having steady trigger control

    • @notsure4128
      @notsure4128 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Active Self Protection Extra that's true, but I was wondering, someone inside the house could probably see the lights on through the window, is it better to wait until you're about to go through the door to turn your light on? Or have it on as you approach?

    • @jaredyoung5353
      @jaredyoung5353 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do not have your light on when you roll up to a house the enemy will see that light thru a window or the seems of the door and it's frame THEN they will shoot your thru that door or wall. Also don't go into a house or clear a room. If your clearing your house you should be able to walk around ur house w the lights off and if you hear something hit it w your light and if it's a bad guy shoot it.

      SWAT cops. This is standard issue gear and who cares what color their clothes are.

    • @MrMGR1986
      @MrMGR1986 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Active Self Protection Extra I get it but they are raiding houses, not on a military campaign. The fatigues are excessive and it breeds a different way of thinking.
