It looks like Diana met someone who was serious. She probably liked him too, but in the end she couldn't get involved with him. The mistrust of other people is probably still deep. She remains alone with her ukulele, with tears and fading memories.
... and now a few words after I saw an interview with Diana about this song. The words came to her spontaneously on a train ride to a concert when she saw the blue sky and she remembered someone who meant something to her. She dedicated her first song to her beloved grandmother, to whom she sang it first. The words are wonderful and allow every listener to lose themselves in them and let their imagination fly.

For Diana to release her first full song with lyrics and music written (and even some played) by her took courage and belief in herself. She stalled for 3 months, unsure how it would be received! In my opinion, it is a masterpiece that will be spoken about many years from now! Her first attempt was a resounding success and a hit, right out of the box! Hi! You correctly noticed a subtle change in the melody in the second verse. It says about the previously acquired distrust, which overshadows the bright feeling. Then this change turns into a crescendo, followed by catharsis.

I’m delighted to see this young Russian talent features again on this channel. Tragically she suffered abuse as a child. This did not however stop her from chasing her dreams..a lesson that adversity and abuse does not stop you from making a success of your life. This song is a work of art…dream like vocals delivered with aplomb…reminiscent for me of the Irish singer Enya. A magnificent song to listen to as I have a break from the heat and sunshine. The increased tempo of the song as it went along absolutely worked. A beautiful reaction Sabina…very fitting for this quality song.
