Tati is incredible, but the 3 dudes behind her are all fucking MONSTERS. Drummer is a magician but knows how to be subtle, bass is clever and active while holding everything together, and guitar is so clean, creative, and crunchy.
This really feels like they found the four best musicians in Ukraine and made a band

Like one commenter said, I am not a metalhead. I actually discovered Jinjer from Elizabeth Zharoff's channel (Charismatic Voice) and I fell in love. They have such an energy about them. Especially Eugene (bass) and Vlad (drums) are terminally underrated. No matter how much credit they get, it will never be enough. And Tati is an absolute 1:1,000,000 front person. She is a natural superstar. She has it all. She's stunning, she sings like an angel, screams like a demon, a fashion icon with her own style...a true goddess. She has the stage presence of someone like Robert Plant...just commands your attention and mesmerizes.

Hands down one of the best vocalists out there today! The whole band are absolute masters of their craft. Crazy thing about Tatiana is she doesn't really do what you should do to take care of her voice, drinks, smokes, no vocal warm ups act, just pure natural talent! Awesome reaction!

Hey Robert! You and I agree on a lot lol. Where are you seeing them on this tour? I've got tickets for Destin, FL on 8/2. Thinking about getting a ticket for the Disturbed tour, but they're pricey, and hard to get up close. I love Disturbed too, but I've never seen em live, and that shows you my priorities lol. This will be my second Jinjer show in less than a year, and I'd rather see them than Disturbed, though I've never seen them in all the years I've listened to them. Jinjer is just that good!

@@ericpeterson7512 I am seeing them (with Disturbed) in Albuquerque New Mexico, and hopefully in Lubbock Texas the next day( Jinjer headline show) Disturbed are decent in concert, I have seen them multiple times, but I will say now they seem to be going through the motions compared to when I first saw them. I only got tickets to see Jinjer. I flew to Vegas to see them last year and it was worth every penny, if you get the chance to meet them by all means do so, awesome people as well!

She is a huge fan of Gwen Stefani and loves the album Tragic Kingdom, you will see photos/videos of her wearing a Tragic Kingdom t-shirt occasionally.

Part of the way they write songs most times is that the band completes the music then Tatiana writes her lyrics to the music. She has to be able to follow all those changes just as you pointed out. So talented.

The glances at her kitty in the corner, at her feet... it's funny. One thing I noticed as a BIG difference between this and the Original was Tati's english. Dunno if she had spent a bunch of time in the US after the studio but her accent isn't as noticeable. Another great Jinjer offering, thanks for the reactions.

Her annunciation of lyrics clean, growl or scream are 2nd to none. T is why many non-growling fans actually like Jinjer.

This is a very cool song and Tatiana's vocals are absolutely phenomenal on this one-take performance. I actually think her vocals on this performance are better than on the studio recording, with more power, energy and emotion (plus, she looks super hot and solidifies her status as "metal goddess").

This was recorded in an improvised vocal booth (basically a black cloth posing as a curtain, a camera, a mic on a stand and some average Marshall headphones) at Alex Lopez (now ex-Suicide Silence drummer and at the time her boyfriend, now husband) house in California, during one of the 2020 lockdowns, to comemorate 1 year of the song's release and because she (and Eugene) got stuck there, couldn't fly back to Ukraine with Roman and Vlad and had too much time on their hands and little or nothing to do. They also recorded and filmed 2 other videos during that period: one was a cover of Nirvana's "Territorial Pissings", sung by Tatiana with Eugene on the bass and Alex on the guitar and drums and the other was a cover of Alice In Chains' "Man In The Box", played by Suicide Silence with Tatiana on clean backing vocals.
Doing something like this is no big deal for Tatiana, one-takes are what she's used to do on stage at every concert. 🙂
Funny enough, most of the time the tempo is standard, what makes it sound like an odd tempo is the places where Vlad hits the snare. In this song's chorus, for example, there are times where Vlad "jumps" the snare timing and hits it on the kick beat.

In addition to being a fan of Gwen Stefani ,Tati is also a reggae fan, and had been wanting the guys to write more. From the 2019 Macro album. Their 3rd full record. Try something from their newest album, Wallflowers(2021). Recommend Vortex.
You asked for another one take video, there is one for Rule of Nines by Spiritbox.

Nice Reaction! Tatiana is unique in the way she can growl and scream and you can actually understand alot of what she is singing. I don't know if you noticed, but she is sporting the colors of the Jamaican Flag in her top and her eye shadow and lip stick.

Jinger does a lot of 4/4 with triplets which gives it a wonkey feeling and tough to figure the meter out.

    That scream is _everything_.
I'm often fascinated by the way songs evolve over time, especially between album release, when it's fresh and new, and by the end of the album's tour.
That scream isn't _anything_ like that powerful on the album. This one-take is the quintessential version of this song, similar to how Pisces' live studio session is for that song. It's so mature and refined now, compared to the album, and that scream is just the pinnacle.
I suspect she doesn't do that often... that was a true vocal fold scream, and _not_ healthy. But my god the impact it has... few reactors really notice that moment, and I'm really glad you did!

Great reaction! You start by talking about the dedication required to maintain the singer's lifestyle, and that's where Tatiana boggles me. Ok, she's mind boggling in lots of ways. But as a pro singer myself for 45+ years, it trips me out what she's able to do live, night after night. All the vocal gymnastics she does nightly, on top of the stellar energetic performance as front person. I looked at their itinerary on their last American tour toward the end of last year when they blew me away in Atlanta. They were playing 5 nights a week, week after week. How do you even do that, singing like THAT?!?! Not many people on the planet can pull off the kinds of things she does vocally, and to duplicate it night after night is kinda superhuman.
And it only gets more boggling from there. Living and sleeping on the tour bus. Traveling to a new city every night, all that driving. Trying to maintain a good diet in challenging circumstances. It was in winter, so the temperatures were cold, rough on the vocal cords. Tatiana doesn't warm up vocally before shows. She'll sometimes skip sound check to save her voice. But she's known to spend time talking to fans before and/or after shows. Rough on the voice! And she smokes cigarettes!
I'm not sure how she does what she does. Hell, SHE'S not sure how she does it! She is gifted with a million dollar voice, a generational talent. In my book she's up there with Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford, Geoff Tate, Ann Wilson, Chris Cornell, Layne Staley. The top vocalists of our generation. I pray she can keep it up for many years to come! She is God's gift to metalheads!

As a death/black metal vocalist myself the thing that puzzles me the most is how most of the techniques she uses in screamos and growls requires male puberty to be able to be produced.
The 10:20 scream is really not that high with the technique she uses there, which is well grounded diaphram growl brought partially through nasal and slided up nasal fry in legato. The Impressive thing on that moment for me, is that by all my over a decade of training and studied knowledge of physiology behind all of it tells me that the technique shouldn't be able to be done by female.
Tatiana is just built different I guess.
