Ah I’m so glad to hear that! Comments like these really keep me going amidst the occasional “try to crack a smile” and “you have zero personality” type comments 😅 I really appreciate it!
10/4/22: OMG, these came out so wonderful I'm almost speechless. I added the lemon zest, chives, garlic, and a sprinkle of fresh mint, but I also added, as an extra added bonus, some cilantro; turkey bacon and carrots which I baked in the oven and pulverized in my Vita Mix. Together with the flour, I also added some homemade breadcrumbs (1/2 and 1/2), and good gosh, these came out fantastic! Of course, you set the tone and I just let my creative imagination go wild with adding the rest. I never would have thought to do this ever! Nevertheless, I've got a big batch mixed up in my fridge and I'm gonna fry the rest in the morning to take to the park where some homeless individuals hang out. I think they'll like it. Thank you for taking the time to post this recipe. They enjoy everything I take to them, but I know they'll enjoy this especially...YEA!
Need to dip them in a nice batter and deep fry them OMG yum .Once rolled put in freezer for a little while then dust with flour and dunk in batter and fry .I also like to flatten them to make into a patty shape viola battered mushy pea fritters or patties .
just made these! added some carrot to the peas because i didn’t have enough for two cups, and WOW did not expect these to taste as delicious as they do, gave some to my picky younger brother and he ended up devouring the whole batch ! thank you for the recipe :-)
Well, I’m obsessed. Made these for lunch. Put them on a cute little bed of pea shoots with some cashew tzatziki. I was not prepared for how much joy can be brought by sprinkling chive flowers on things. Thank you!
These fritters are so so good!! I used mint, chives, and lemon zest in mine and they were delicious. Topped with tahina sauce of tahini, yogurt, garlic, lime juice, and a little bit of honey. Love them, and can’t wait to experiment with more veggies and spices!
YES I have done them with zucchini too. I guess the potato would help counteract the wateriness. And also, ALWAYS yes to feta. We're all about the feta over here! Thanks for swinging by :)
I have been making these for years but I use bread crumbs instead of flour. I need to try the flour and baking powder next time. This is also very budget friendly. If I had a small amount of left over meat, not enough for a full meal, I would chop it up and add it.
God i really like her, something about how nonchalant she is makes me feel like shes normal one of us, im just looking for a way to use up a bag of peas and this i what i needed not some fancy french slow cooked duck with a pea honey glaze. Love the video, sad i couldn't see it sooner
And then you had to mention eggs benny. You are horrible!!! I don't think I've ever watched someone so rockin their vibe! You're pretty cool lil ms awsum sauce 😎. I'd say I want to have your baby but there's only room for 1 rooster in the hen house 😉. Nicely done!@
way to hook me in with the simple five ingredients opener. can confirm, have all 5 ingredients. lets do this. *continues watching video* *Finnishes video* AAAAAANNNNNNDDDDD like and subscribe. very informative. i would also like to point out you can put these in muffin pans if your maybe dont wanna fry them.

I love how you do your vids!
Totally laid-back, casual, no-f**ks-to-give yet professionally tinged.
Love it.

Im subscribing to you channel right now so that when you hit 1 million I can say I was in the first 1000! It's only a matter of time 😃
Fernando you just made my day! One can only dream :) You will be first on the invite list to the celebration party when that happens!
is it ok if I use green peas in can? Thanks
I’d say go for it! They won’t be as bright green but they should taste good!
I love it! Try it with sesame seeds next time.
Great idea!
just found ur channel. gonna try this. maybe put red chillies?
Yes!!! Do it!!
I make these with grated zucchini mixed with crumbled feta or do a mix of half grated zucchini and grated potato.
YES I have done them with zucchini too. I guess the potato would help counteract the wateriness. And also, ALWAYS yes to feta. We're all about the feta over here! Thanks for swinging by :)
Could these be made with rice flour?
I’d say so!
I have been making these for years but I use bread crumbs instead of flour. I need to try the flour and baking powder next time. This is also very budget friendly. If I had a small amount of left over meat, not enough for a full meal, I would chop it up and add it.
That’s a great idea!
Can i make this with canned peas?
I've never tried, but I bet it would work fine! Just make sure to drain them really well - maybe even pat them dry?
God i really like her, something about how nonchalant she is makes me feel like shes normal one of us, im just looking for a way to use up a bag of peas and this i what i needed not some fancy french slow cooked duck with a pea honey glaze. Love the video, sad i couldn't see it sooner
Mint sauce is traditionally with mushy peas
Can you do this with canned peas?
That is included in “any vegetable “. You’re welcome 😉
Can't eat eggs, any subs... like would a flax egg or chickpea flour bind it?
I have never tried them with flax eggs but I imagine it would work great!
And then you had to mention eggs benny.
You are horrible!!!
I don't think I've ever watched someone so rockin their vibe!
You're pretty cool lil ms awsum sauce 😎.

It would be nice if you speed up your demo.
I didn't hear nothing about no garlic in the beginning ...
I really love the recipe but I feel like she has no passion at all while cooking. Seems so blah when she talks about the ingredients.
