Arsenal are the only set of fans who could easily hold their own against the likes of Galatasaray and all the other giant firms in Europe. All the others would have no chance as seen by incidents including the so called super firms like Leeds and West Ham who when in Europe are easily dealt with by modest foreign firms. When Arsenal are abroad their scarfers have no problem dealing with what is thrown at them, often not even needing to call on the top boys..

Chelsea and Spurs took you place and you went further down the ranking in the mid 70s until the early 80's when it was becoming harder to take ends due to all ticket games and more police presence in grounds. Arsenal don't and never did pose any resistance to West Ham until 1982 but we still got in and stayed the whole match in the North Bank. For what I would call the little London clubs, your spurs's, Chelsea's, West Ham's and Millwall's, their cup finals were always when they played Arsenal, they always got their biggest crowds for their home games against the gunners and always took their biggest away followings when they went to Highbury (Often bigger than their home attendances in the case of Chelsea and Millwall). You could always spot their firms a mile off as their dress sense would normally consist of donkey jackets or the homeless look, where as the Arsenal firms always were very dapper and always looked the business in their designer wear...

I can recall in my pagan days as an ex-hooligan that Arsenal's main boy 'Denton' and his boys of the Herd & Gooners, where ambushed and got run all over the place from Luton Town BOLTS CREW & MIGs Crew in the 80'S, near the railway station. And one of Arsenal's top 'Gooner's' was unfortunately badly cut across his face. The reason why Millwall and other hooligans from other clubs rioted that evening in the F.A Cup was because Luton Town had the best feared small tight-knit firm in the country for several years, true fact!
God bless everyone, as it takes a real man to walk away from a fight, as violence only breeds violence!!!!
