An ac capacitor cost around 25$, turn off the power take a picture of the wires going into your capacitor and plug them into the new capacitor, please don’t let a HVAC company scam you for hundreds$$, a bad capacitor has nothing to do with a dirty air filter although please change your filter every six months.
