Wish you'd do more of these. I don't care if it's a tutorial or not, but I like seeing crafters work when they're really good. Been trying to set up of me working kind of like this. Need to sit down and edit videos -_- I've got 2 videos up on that channel, but probably enough material for like 6 more already filmed, lol.
The second video is already almost done! This time I show how my husband Benni paints my stuff! We both were pretty busy lately, but I really plan to upload more and more in the future again, so thanks for the patience!
KamuiCosplay I know how that is. I uploaded my first 2 videos probably a month ago. And like I said, I've filmed a bunch of stuff, but all kinds of things came up in between my uploading the original ones and me being able to sit down and edit more videos -_-
Kamui I wanted to say to you how much i love your work and your style. I know the cos play industry has taken off so fast and so strong and i hope you receive nothing but lovely compliments and praise for your dedication and lovely time you give to us by making these cherry and fun videos. I love your books they are helping make a foam Frostmourne and Litch King armor for my son. My first true project to sample with your techniques in mind from your books and vids - thankyou so much- you are sooo great
Kamui hands down this is why you are my favorite cosplayer. you are always finding ways to help other people get into what you and they love people helping people thats awesome!
This really helped me understand that its not that hard to use worbla. Im a newbie to cosplay and i really want to get it no it. I am 15 yr male who LOVES anime and cosplay. The only cosplay ive done is neo from " The Mattix" that was relly fun. But i want to get to making my own stuff.
Absolutely fantastic tutorial! I really want to try this stuff and these videos are perfect for beginners to have a go. Thank you for taking the time to film and upload them :)
That's video is amazing. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to work on my first cosplay costume & this video is very helpful, especially with how to do pattern when cutting out a design to have worbla over. Thanks! :)
Thanks for the tut. A slight suggestion: you should add a black outline to the white text, it can get a bit difficult to read, especially when there's even more white in the background. I often had to pause it, which seems minor, but the music's good too and you never really want to pause when listening to music?
How come when you work with worbla, you do it with such ease and finesse?!?! I couldn't stop burning my hands everytime since it was hot 😂😂 But great work! You inspire me 😊
I wanted the bracer to have a little distance and not lay directly on my arm. I needed it to hover a little bit so to say. So I put in another piece in between to get that distance! :)
Have you ever had any problems with Worbla coming undone while you wear it in warm environments ? What about body heat too? Does that make it soft again?
Thanks this is great, I subbed and starting to design on paper now but for my dolls. They are very tiny so it's going to be difficult. I wonder if you have some hints how to connect some metal half rings that I can use to bind the bracers with but the scale is 1:3 so it's small and I cannot have anything sharp sticking out for damage on their skin.
Deine Tutorials sind echt großartig! Ich wünschte ich könnte meine eigenen Cosplays basteln, allerdings kann ich mir das Material als Schülerin leider noch nicht leisten :(
+Sherlockian Fannibal Working with foam is different. Yes, you can create armor with foams like EVA, but then you need to watch other tutorials, as the materials behave differently and require slightly different steps.
+xaznxthaigerx Yes, you need to do some priming. But you'll notice that, as soon as you touch it. The surface is a bit rough. She uses a couple of wood glue layers before painting it. White school glue will work as well (I know many in the US know that type of glue).
This is so incredibly helpful. I've struggled with covering up seams for a while, and after connecting to large leg part I get scared to mess up the whole thing and waste my material, so I'll definitely try out this method. I just want to know how you get the worbla dust off entirely after using a dremel? It seems to always stick to my pieces and it looks really ugly and grainy.
Happen to stumble upon this and I must say. Very talented. I was curious tho just how much money tho u wld have invested in each brace once it's said and done, or how much the material costs in general. I was curious for future material ideas.
Personally, I've recently invested in Worbla and it was only a half sheet but it cost me about $50. It isn't to expensive for the quality of the material though and it's pretty easy to work with once you get the hang of it.
I was wondering, how can you make the bracer stay in place (not falling of your arms)? Do you have tips for me, because I want to cosplay Mimiru form Hack sign and it's the first time I'll use worbla. Thank you!
+mustlovewolves Worbla is thin. Without craftfoam it would be impossible to shape it correctly. Also some thickness makes it more realistic, if you create armor.
+Samylleth Ruiz (nightclass03) You can't really estimate the amount of worbla for all armor sets in general. For your own project you can estimate the amount by first creating all patterns and then laying them on the floor in the same way you would lay them for cutting out the worbla. Then you messure the space covered and thats the size of worbla you need (of course, you need it twice, if you are going to use worbla from both sides).
What would you recommend as a cosplay for someone who's quite new to building armour? I've been cosplaying for seven years and I've made props and jewellery but never armour, and I'd like a new challenge ^_^
Wish you'd do more of these. I don't care if it's a tutorial or not, but I like seeing crafters work when they're really good. Been trying to set up of me working kind of like this. Would you mind also sharing your process for going about adding the fastenings and all the pieces you need to actually wear the armor?
This is the first time I ever saw someone make a piece. Looks like fun.

OMG. That makes so much more sense. Thank you so much! I could not figure out how to do all of the little design work that you do. Thank you so much.
Beautiful work I think I'm going to give worbla a try never worked with it before.
wow i have been looking at so many vids today this is the best.....
I can't explain to you how much this helps me!
Yeah Worbla is really easy to get into. :)
Absolutely fantastic tutorial! I really want to try this stuff and these videos are perfect for beginners to have a go.
Thank you for taking the time to film and upload them :)
This is the coolest thing ever. Thank you so much for posting your process!
You're amazing! You make it seem like anyone can do this, thank you for posting this :)
That's video is amazing. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to work on my first cosplay costume & this video is very helpful, especially with how to do pattern when cutting out a design to have worbla over. Thanks! :)
Just bought your pattern! So excited to try it out!
I only have to say one thing...
You are my inspiration, you are my favorite cosplayer
You are very talented!
I love your videos and your books :D you are so talented and inspire me to create cosplay too. I hope so much I am as good as you someday
THAT WAS AWESOME! i am so glad your making more videos. yay!!
Thanks for this video. Kisses from Spain!

I wonder if you have a tutorial/video on how to prime armor or give the armor a metallic/shiny look?
This is friggen fascinating!!
Amazing! And thank you for sharing.
You are a huge inspiration!
Keep being awesome (:
look at those hands work!!!
the music though♡
How come when you work with worbla, you do it with such ease and finesse?!?! I couldn't stop burning my hands everytime since it was hot 😂😂 But great work! You inspire me 😊
Incredible
You don’t use any glue with worbal?
This would be very handy for a destiny 2 cosplay
What was the piece you put under after you molded it to your arm? Could you explain how and what to do at that point
I wanted the bracer to have a little distance and not lay directly on my arm. I needed it to hover a little bit so to say. So I put in another piece in between to get that distance! :)
KamuiCosplay so is there a reason you didn't want the gauntlets to directly touch? How did you make the spacer?
Do we trace it in normal paper or a specific one?
Can we use only 1 layer of Wobla? Not cover foam both side?
Hello!
I was wondering if there was a structural reason you created the main part of the bracer in two pieces instead of one. Thanks!!
It's just to get a little distance between my arm and the bracer. :)
Have you ever had any problems with Worbla coming undone while you wear it in warm environments ? What about body heat too? Does that make it soft again?
Worbla needs a really high temp from a heat gun to get it to be malleable. Body heat is nowhere near hot enough to do it.
So cool job
Thanks!
What do you use the keep them on your arm? Straps or what and how did you apply them?
That came out great! So all it takes to attach the worbla to itself is heat? That’s easier than waiting for glue to dry!
Yup!
I love your explications :)
una pregunta esto es eva foam???
How do you keep the bracer from falling off?
Ya that's super awesome.
May I ask, what material are you using made of?
Deine Tutorials sind echt großartig! Ich wünschte ich könnte meine eigenen Cosplays basteln, allerdings kann ich mir das Material als Schülerin leider noch nicht leisten :(
Thanks for sharing this! This really is gonna help in cosplay i'm making! quick question though what was that song!? i wanna listen to it forever lol
Do you think Worbla would be good for making a holster for real guns?
I think it should be fine as long as you add a backing such as craft foam to make it extra sturdy.
Can hairdryer be used instead of the heat gun for cosplay
Hi, great video and love your art. I want to do aquaman 2017 . Do u have any ideas for the shoulder piece? Thank you
Could you also use something like velcro by attaching it with gorilla glue or hot glue? Or not hot glue because the warble is very sensitive to heat?
cái này khò nó mềm ra xong nó lại cứng vào hả bạn ơi
Can we do the same thing but with replacing Worbla by foam sheet ?
+Sherlockian Fannibal Working with foam is different. Yes, you can create armor with foams like EVA, but then you need to watch other tutorials, as the materials behave differently and require slightly different steps.
SomeSeal Thank you! xoxo
if I don't have a steinel gun, what can I use?
Just wondering what is that you're using?
I envy your talent greatly.
Another master piece!! BTW can anyone tell me which song did Kamui use in this video? Thank you so much!
Same
whats the name of the song?
Thanks for commenting a year after! I just Shazamed it and got the name of the song: "One" composed by the artist Amotek.
Hi, do you wait for the worbla to cool down and harden before dremeling the seam line? Thanks.
do u know where can i find the cheapest worbla? i live in spain and for me is very expensive.. great tutorial amd thank u :)
I think coscon shop has cheapest one, look it up because I might be wrong
With Worbla. Is there a coating you need to put on there before painting? if so? can you give me a link to the product you purchased. thank you!
+xaznxthaigerx Yes, you need to do some priming. But you'll notice that, as soon as you touch it. The surface is a bit rough. She uses a couple of wood glue layers before painting it. White school glue will work as well (I know many in the US know that type of glue).
I want to get worbla in Argentina ... but unfortunately there is Wonderflex as similar but not so detailed you can be with this material. :(
Could this have been done just as easy with just thick enough EVA?
sure
Why use worbla, what is the point of covering the foam with it?
This is so incredibly helpful. I've struggled with covering up seams for a while, and after connecting to large leg part I get scared to mess up the whole thing and waste my material, so I'll definitely try out this method. I just want to know how you get the worbla dust off entirely after using a dremel? It seems to always stick to my pieces and it looks really ugly and grainy.
Does it matter what side you heat up
Hey there, I'm curious as to if you can do similar 3D details with wonderflex.
is that wax paper???? that you are working on
Yes! :)
Happen to stumble upon this and I must say. Very talented. I was curious tho just how much money tho u wld have invested in each brace once it's said and done, or how much the material costs in general. I was curious for future material ideas.

Thank you so much!!
So do you ever find any problems with the worbla coming apart at the joins or does it adhere to itself permanently? Amazing job!
Wow that's hard but look Glorious
Just asking but where do you get your worbla?
Ok so i don't understand Worbla, does heat make it stick together or do i need to apply glue?
+Popo Sensei Did you see any glue in the video? :)
Worbla is super expensive.
Is there an alternative?
Amazing!! 😊
What is that brown…thing ?
Thank you for your answer :)))
!!!!!!!!! WAPLAH!
Umm...Where can I get this material~?
If I want to find it on the net, what key word I can find it~?
Thank you for your answer;))
how it's called the big blue thing with white lines at 0.12 sec? the thing where the heatgun, scrissors, worbla etc. lies.
cutting mat
What's the tool that she used to thaw the worbla's? i tried to search fot it on Google and I found nothing.
+Annie Hastur it's a heat gun! :)
Does the worbla just stick to itself when trying to join it all together? Or is a certain glue needed? Awesome tutorial really love it!
Worbla sticks ti itself .
could i use instead of the craft foam eva foam?
Great video, can you tell me what mm foam you used.? I think the foam I used was too thick. Thanks
+Chitra Jones Mostly 3mm
Awesome!
I was wondering, how can you make the bracer stay in place (not falling of your arms)?
Do you have tips for me, because I want to cosplay Mimiru form Hack sign and it's the first time I'll use worbla.
Thank you!
do you have to wrap it in craft foam??
+mustlovewolves Worbla is thin. Without craftfoam it would be impossible to shape it correctly. Also some thickness makes it more realistic, if you create armor.
+SomeSeal I'm using the transpa art trying to make dragon spikes so they can glow with led's. after fiddling I layered them 3 times to get a sturdy
wow. how i wish i can make one too
soo awesome!
What thickness of craft foam do you usually use for general body armor?
could you make a tutorial on how to make a gauntlet

Let me ask what that material is. thank you
Worbla :)
About how many worbla sheets do you use for a whole armor? (super large Sheets)

where You get this worbla
can you do a video on making helmets/ head pieces ? love your stuff by the way
Wow ! Really great !!
But how you know the size and the model (on paper) ? I don't know where to find them..
But gg !
Where can i buy warbla??
Does anyone know what she uses to speed up her videos?
magical!
