I’m a long time fan of using worbla. While I’d have a better time making mostly foam props, I like to wear my cosplays for years to come and I’m super clumsy. Not only is worlba much sturdier, but I’ve had an easier time repairing worbla props and armor than foam. Biggest downside is that worlba armor sure isn’t comfy, isn’t easy to transport, and is a lot heavier. I still love the stuff though!
i am thinking about making a bear chested muscle suit (like a silicone chest) and whas thinking of using eva foam to make the muscles and worbla to get a skin like look. my question: woukd this work, and if yes what kind of worbla would you recomend?
I never saw your content before but it's goooood! I'll be digging through your videos in the next few days for sure :D I'd also love to join the Discord server but the invite link has expired! Any chance there's a new one? :)
You can! but you have to combine it with foam! without it it would be too flimsy. You can get foam at cosplayshop and if we don't ship to you there is probably another foam company that does! be sure to watch some more tutorials before!
A very good introduction to Warbla - just was looking for. Thanks.
I love how the closed captions can't decide if Worbla is Roblox or Warblast.
Great tutorial btw!
This answered everything for me, thank you so much this was incredibly helpful
Short and fast !! Regards from germany

Thanks! Exactly what I wanted to know
Does worbla stick to cardboard ? I have a base made of cardboard and want a cleaner finish for the piece
Fabulous intro, thanks
Thank you.
Oo the transparent one might come in handy one day :0 :0!
Also, the Discord invite link is not working 😅
Woops! will fix that asap haha

We also have a vid on making a muscle suit! that in combination with covering it would latex would also work
What about using transparent worbla for visors?
It for sure works! probably best to have an object to shape it on
Is 120 grit ok for sanding worbla?
What glue would you recommend for worbla transparent art since i5 doesn’t stick together? Having some troubles with this :’)
In the past I have used some bison transparent glue, but im also expereminting with it still to make a future video on!

why can’t i use just worbla for armor pieces? i was planning to make some bracers with it and don’t know where to get foam :(

How does worbla hold up on hot days? Will Summer sun and heat cause it to loose it's shape?
you'd be fine wearing it since I assume it's painted and all that, don't leave it in your car though!
Can I mold the Worbla on my leg? Would that too hot for the skin?
That might be a bit too hot! but I know some people do it wearing some protection
Can i use a blow dryer instead of a heat gun?
I'm afraid not!
With enough power, yes. But it’ll take more time.
