You don't know how happy I am to see that foreigners actually love my forgotten little country. It gives me more hope that one day we might get more recognition, aside from "Oh yeah...Moldova is okay." Thank you a lot for giving it a chance.
Great video guys :) Just so you know La Placinte is not a fancy restaurant here in Moldova, it's a regular chain restaurant, but it's very good indeed. True fancy restaurants are quite expensive in Chisinau as well.
I'm from Chișinău. Very glad you liked our cuisine🙂. It is really good. You guys are awesome, I like the way you describe and review everything. Good luck to you guys!👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
I cannot believe I am here in Berlin with the worst food ever and foreigners are traveling to my country enjoying the best food in the world 😂😂😂 I was drooling all 13 minutes watching this video 🤤 It's ⏰ to move back home 🧳🛫 Thanks guys for a great video! 😘
La Placinte is actually a fast-food-y type restaurant. The quality is not exactly fast food, but they don't cook from scratch either. Eating all those dishes in one go is impressive though :) Another thing - Moldovan cuisine is Romanian cuisine, it's not just influenced. There is no fusion... You may have a mild Russian influence, especially in Chisinau, but that's it. E.g. ask yourselves which of the dishes that you have tried is Russian? Maybe colțunași (dumplings), but then again I am not sure they are a Russian influence. There is a higher probability that it might be Polish or even Tatar... Enjoy your travels!

Glad you are enjoying the time in my city. It is not necessarily a Soviet import, though arguably they became more popular here because of that era.
