I understood everything you said with no problems! 😂😂😂 I'm a descendant of gullah and geechee people in America, and some of my Ancestry is from Sierra Leone, and it's so funny how i can't speak krio, but i understand exactly every word! My grandparents spoke a little bit like this. They just spoke slower because they were from the country. Either way I will try your recipe! It looks so good! And you what is crazy In yoruba E Kaabo also means welcome!
Like wow I just recently learn about Waterloo Titi on Facebook preparing cassava bread and fry fish, since then your show becomes my favourite, through your recipe I can now cook Correct cassava Leaf, thank you so much Waterloo Titi
I tried this at work bcz my colleague from Siera leone brought this. I became a fan of it. He didnt know how to cook it bcz he got this from a family friend who cooked it for him. So, I had to look it up. Yours is probably the best one. Me being Asian, I had all the ingredient from fermented seseame to dried fish and palm oil. Except the cassava leaves which I ordered from afrobuy, wasn't expensive. Will cook it this weekend.
Awwwwwww! This is so sweet to read, I'm happy you're part of the WT family now. Please let me know the outcome of yours when you must have tried my recipe. Thanks Love
@waterlootiti7771 It was ok, but there was a slight bitter after taste from the leaves. How do you get rid of that taste? I used frozen cassava paste from afrobuy.
