The way you talk about the food, is like tv commentators for sport games in olimpic or commenwell games.. very calm and clear... Really like it. Kuantan is among my favourite city to hang out.. Thank you for visiting Pahang..❤
In the east coast, you should try the Nasi Dagang, which is a rice dish (the type of rice used is different from nasi lemak) served traditionally with fish curry and Acar (pickled vegetable and fruits such as cucumber, pineapple and onions, this version of Acar is light and refreshing unlike another version known as Nyonya Acar, which has peanut and spicy sauce). Food places in Malaysia are pretty innovative to try to differentiate themselves from each other. The second Nasi Lemak you guys had was done in ‘Nasi Pattaya’-style (Nasi Pattaya is fried rice wrapped in an omelette, pretty popular at Warungs/ stalls in Malaysia) There’s also Sata Ikan, a kind of fish paste snack wrapped in leaves cooked over fire. And of course, Keropok, another fish paste snack deep-fried- the thin version is crispy, the thicker version (Keropok Lekor) has a more chewy bite. Both serve with mainly chilly sauce and you probably can find them at stalls that serve banana fritters (Pisang Goreng) The reason many of the food in Kelantan, Trengganu and Pahang is fish-based- The east coast of Peninsula Malaysia has many fishermen and businesses based on fish and seafood products.
You’re technique of eating with your hand is very proper. Using only the tip of your fingers and not smudging your whole palm. Very refined and cultured. Very uppity 😁. Well done guys 👏👏👏. You are practically malaysians

The best nasi lemak that I've ever had was at the Nadi Kota bus station in Bandar Pusat Jengka back in 1995 - 1997...the sambal was so good that people were always asking for extra sambal...in the end she'll just give extra sambal in a separate small bowl to go whenever you ate at her stall. We left BPJ in late 1997 and never been back since. Hope that the old lady made it in life. InsyaAllah.

@@EllisWR ok… i went through your video, i think your stomach has used to spicy foods since you’ve visited thailand. Tom yam in thailand is spicier, if you mistakenly eat the small green chili, it’ll burn up your mouth 🤣🤣🤣. Ok since you’re ok with spicy food i would recommend you to try masak lemak cili api, this type of side dish is very popular in negeri sembilan. If you come to state of negeri sembilan you can try this side dish. If you contact me i can bring you to nearby restaurants to try masak lemak cili api.
