@BarefootVlogger thank you for coming and helping to promote malaysia. We have tropical jungles, hundreds of kms of white beaches, top 10 islands in the world with beautiful marine life in clear waters, we have highlands and mountains, and cities and the peaceful folk villages known as kampung. Malaysia only has 33 million people in population only a third of Thailand, Vietnam and Philliphines and perhaps just 10% of Indonesia but the result is that there are a lot less people here, more controlled crowd, less motorbikes, lower pollution (hence cleaner air to breath). What we don't have is free 53x and prostitutions and alcohol which are all not good for health. Not openly though. Again, wishing you a pleasant stay here. And may I suggest for you to tour the entire peninsular just by using express buses which are well connected to all cities and towns including to singapore and hatyai in thailand. As a true backpacker, I believe you would enjoy that. Get the bus tickets online, save a lot of time and hassle.

KL has three airports, Subang, Klia1, and Klia2. Make sure you return to the correct airport , for cheap fares use the bus from KL Sentral to the Airport only four Dollar
About the signage at KLIA2, I think KLIA2 has a unique, helpful signage. Look at minute 5:45 or 5:46 the very long signage hanging from the ceiling. It's designed that way and easy to understand.
As a Malaysian myself, the SIGNAGE be it in the walking within mall / public places or on the road driving, it really is SCCK from as long as I can remember..

@MzaidMz-e7p I am not sure which source you referred to. In 2023, Indonesia produced about 42 million tonnes of CPO while Malaysia produced only circa 20 million tonnes. According to Copilot's answer, Indonesia overtook Malaysia as the largest CPO producer since 2016. I am Malaysian, I have no qualm about being second in this sector. 😄

Maize and Blue! Not Blue and Gold! I'm heading to Kuala Lumpur next week. Thanks for the video!
Fantastic video. Google Maps can be a bit of a hit or miss. If I were you, I'd take a taxi from KL Sentral to your hotel. Be much quicker and more time to get your bearings before venturing out. :) KL is a fabulous city.
You have to choose walk mode when u walking while navigating sir. Usually the maps is different. And its has a dots route. Enjoy your time here in Malaysia.
Ah that explains why the map was not accurate. When I was in Tokyo, Google Map helped a lot.
if u walk then choose walking option on map, i guess u currently in driving mode on the map that's why maps keep telling the road name. it not bcoz the gps fail but u fail to choose the correct mode
Whenever you're lost, you just ask direction from the local people. They are happy to assist you. Msia people are friendly
For easier travel just buy touch and go Rm 100 when visiting Malaysia . You can use it on trains such as monorail ,ktm or
, mrt , rapid bus , or for car tols.
Wow new adventure 😊 Enjoy sir
I felt exhausted at the end of this video
Wow nice surprise Boracay one day Kuala Lumpur the next. Thanks for vlogging and sharing the trepidation of arriving to a new destination for the first time, airport to hotel. You do it so well. Looking forward to the foodie slant on the vlogs. Onward and upward Terry.
Stay tuned brother. More Philippines to come
@@BarefootVlogger Great I didn't think you could have left the place that abrupt. I realize there's a lot of time and effort in editing and producing the quality you're putting out.
WELCOME TO MALAYSIA, ONCE YOU REACH AIRPORT OR CITY CENTRE, YOU SHOLD BUY LOCAL HANDPHONE SIM CARD TO ENABLE CONNECTIVITY MUCH EASIER, IT’S CHEAP AND 5 MINUTES ACTION. 🇲🇾🇲🇾
Thanks for the tip. My iphone only takes e-sim and I have found with T Mobile I don't need one
it's okay to ask a lot of people here they will understand that you new and of course we will try to help but after you leaving the airport maybe you can relax for a while
fun fact, we have too many cooker blower vents and that's where all the hot air coming from. enjoy the smell !
There is no street names ,? That's a very good comment...DBKL(city council)..please put up more street names please and make them a lot more bigger....put up on the building as well....that will help a lot...
The street names are there, but sometimes street vendors, trees, advertisements blocked them. Also, he was walking after dark, so it is harder to spot the street signs.
I think the govt should create a tourist friendly user card for public transport.
With that amulet and a purple cap you will not get lost 😅I’m inspired by your vlog to visit Malaysia. I only visited Kota Kinabalu before. Enjoy and take care
I'm sure you'll have a lot of Vlogs over there! In Malaysia and food looking forward to it. 😊
Thanks Allan and Starr!
@BarefootVlogger Thanks Terry love what your doing always enjoy your adventures! 👍💞
after long time walking finally you reach destination. respect 🫡 btw welcome to 🇲🇾
Great to be here, thanks!
The key to keeping calm and focused while traveling is to ensure we're not hungry. Always fill up your stomach to make sure your mood is always good, energized, and can think properly. Especially when you're in a new place and have to look at signages and directions.
Wow amazing walking for hours going to hotel 😅 if it's me ill be crying right now. Goodluck sir😊👍
Hi. Kuala Lumpur is a long name to say, we Malaysians just say K.L. Welcome and enjoy.
Yes, I started saying it too! Great city, thanks for the warm welcome🙏
That’s crazy down there I’m glad you made it to your hotel congratulations on 80k it’s been a great journey from 1k Terry onward and upward buddy
You guys have been with me since day one. Thank you for your support, encouragement and most importantly, your friendship❤🙏
Wow sir barefoot enjoy and be safe watching from Qatar ❤
Hello Qatar! Thank you Adel🙏

Bedankt my friend, hello Holland! Great beer btw
Cant wait to get back. ❤
KL has three airports, Subang, Klia1, and Klia2. Make sure you return to the correct airport , for cheap fares use the bus from KL Sentral to the Airport only four Dollar
I'm from Bukit Banteng. Welcome. Btw, love your american accent.
That might be a first! lol Thank you my friend🙏
Citizen M Hotel is located along the main road. Was wondering why you keep mentioning Walter Grenier which is located at a different place
Never mentioned Walter Grenier once
I feel like I am in your back pocket going on an adventures it’s fun 🙂
You are bb!
Tq for visiting our country sir....❤❤❤
Terima kasih! 🙏
Sama2..@@BarefootVlogger
About the signage at KLIA2, I think KLIA2 has a unique, helpful signage. Look at minute 5:45 or 5:46 the very long signage hanging from the ceiling. It's designed that way and easy to understand.
As a Malaysian myself, the SIGNAGE be it in the walking within mall / public places or on the road driving, it really is SCCK from as long as I can remember..
Mr Barefoot i like ur vlogger..good n happy go lucky guy...😂
Hi Terry.. you can go to Singapore by bus or train from KL
I did not know that thanks Johanna
@@BarefootVlogger the nearest airport to Singapore is Subang Sky(SZB/WMSA),
Just take 20 minute from Bukit Bintang on weekend. Take only 35 minute by flight.
Welcome to Malaysia Terry. Enjoyed your earlier videos about Philippines and Boracay, my favourite island. It brings back many nostalgic memories (my wife is a Filipino). Looking forward to watch your coming videos about my country, Malaysia. Terima kasih.🙏😁
Your country is wonderful. Terima kasih my friend🙏
🙏🙏🙏😁
Indeed there are a lot of palm trees. Malaysia was the largest palm oil producer in the world, which now I think the spot was taken over by Indonesia.
Still malaysia no 1. Indonesia palm oil output is very little compared to their larger farm size.
@MzaidMz-e7p I am not sure which source you referred to. In 2023, Indonesia produced about 42 million tonnes of CPO while Malaysia produced only circa 20 million tonnes. Data in 2019 alone showed that 59% of total world's palm oil produced by Indonesia, while Malaysia covered 26% of the market share. According to Copilot's answer, Indonesia overtook Malaysia as the largest CPO producer since 2016.
I am Malaysian, I have no qualm about being second in this sector. 😄
Ok sorry abt that. I was misinformed.
@MzaidMz-e7p 👌🙏
There are pubs lined up on Jalan Changkat near your hotel. If you feel young, you can also go to Trak KL, just RM6 with Grab ride I think from the hotel you are staying at. TRAK is a Live Music Venue that offers the cinematic experience for music lovers and clubbers. I hope you are comfortable throughout your stay in Malaysia
Thank you my friend🙏
Have a safe trravel, Terry‼️🙏
From klia to b.bintang with luggages.. thats an adventures already.. glad u made it🎉😅
this video is so chaotic i love it
Bravo, Welcome to Malaysia Bro! Are you planning to come to east coast of Malaysia? I live in Kuantan, its a sea side city, less than 1 hour by flight and ard 2hours plus by car... nice beaches and more chill atmosphere...if you plan to head this side i will be glad to show u around...there is also the iconic Firely river tour at night..where not many places in the world you could watch firefly on trees in mangrove river..just like xmas tree...it amazing you have to see it for yourself....onwards and upwards bro!
I was wanting to tell you but figured I'd make it a surprise. Thanks for the welcome my friend! 🙏
Ur so easy going and friendly. U'll fit pretty well in malaysia. Enjoy ur trip and be safe always!
It cracked me up when u tried to buy the monorail ticket and got ur NY accent out 🤣
Should've eat 1st at the airport so u wont end up hangry
