7:38 how is your mouth so close when you subdivide? Mine is open and i don't know how to fix it. Edit: I understand now, you inverted the extrude inside the head. I didn't notice that, and it made me stuck for some hours in this tutorial too.

great tutorial and appreciate your effort. It would have been good if you had your had your keys on screencast and if it was normal speed like the female tut. Watching at a slower speed but still awesome.
You will have your own way, I just put my way up, you will learn something from me to improve yourself. I also learned blender like that. Once you get used to it, what you need is creativity, originality in the way of doing it, no need to pay attention to details anymore: D

He turned on proportional editing at the top of the display port, changed the proportional editing falloff to 'sharp' on the drop down arrow next to it, selected the top five verts from the side view, adjusted the size of the influence that the proportional editing has using his scroll wheel till its huge and then dragged back along the y,axis...
