    Just the video I needed. I love Go3, but the transfer speeds are absolutely atrocious. Frankly, it doesn’t matter into what it will be transferring, that 6-pin port uses USB2 standard, and it will always be slow. The only way to increase transfer speed, is to indeed offload overnight to SD card and then import to the computer.
    Two questions for you:
    1) in scenario when I offload footage to an SD card, and it is removed from the camera, can I still import that footage from SD card to insta360 mobile application?
    2) the bug with the create date/time timestamp. Did they ever fix it?

    Would be really interested to know how the reader copes with multiple cameras, if you have a go 3 and a go 3s can you move files from both to the same memory card, alternatively can you perform multiple move of files from a single camera throughout the day to keep freeing up the cameras memory, and in either case does it separate the files into different folders at each move or merge them all together ?

      Planning some additional videos with multiple GO3’s and will try to include this - stay tuned.

    I am planning to buy this for convience of freeing the memory. Any advise on what type of micro sd card for me to buy? What brand or specific spec did you use for the device?

      For 4K video, I typically would recommend a V30 card from a good brand like Lexar, SanDisk or Samsung (see links below). Because this is not real-time recording, the card specs are probably not quite as critical, but personally, I would still go with a V30 card.
      Lexar 1066x Silver Series: amzn.to/3J8dVjt
      Samsung Pro Plus: amzn.to/3PV7u7f
      SanDisk Extreme: amzn.to/43TKmM7

      I guess good read speed would take precedence here. The camera will write at a rate of 30-40 MB/s to anything connected to the reader, even if that card allowed for 1GB/s transfer speed (unless of course the card itself is of lower standard).
      The higher SD card’s read speed is, the quicker it will offload to the computer.

      @@ttl_channel Just posted a few comments and a thought occurred. Is by chance Original Timestamp retained somewhere in the EXIF data of the file? It could be then fairly quickly patched up with exiftool.

    Can this reader read for insta360 go 2?

      No, just the go 3 and go 3s

    • @ttl_channel
      @ttl_channel  หลายเดือนก่อน

      According to Insta360, it is only for the GO 3 and GO 3S. I don't own a GO 2 to test, but I assume it is not compatible.
