So is the real issue that the bluetooth capability the gopro 13 sucks? Or is it the mic mini?

Recently began using 360 x4 on my boat while fishing. It overheats constantly, usually within minutes.. and that's with air temps in 70s. I'm sure it's going to be worthless over the summer when temps are 100 + degrees. Very disappointed.

Thanks for the testing but in my opinion the Mic mini is better since there is not much of a difference in audio quality Vs Mic 2 while cost is way more affordable and much smaller form factor. Do you think Insta360 will make some updates in the future which could improve microphone connection by bluetooth ? In addition to that, I don't really understand the point of testing the qualify of the bluetooth at 45m since I do not see a real interest to use an action camera at that distance.

When I connect my DJI mic 2 with Ace Pro 2 through bluetooth, the 32 bit float on receiver turns off by itself. Is there any way to keep it on?

Thanks so much for this informative video! We've been looking at the Mic 2 system, but the Mini looks to be a much better value, especially since you only need to buy one or two Mini mics without the receiver if you have the Action 5.

if I have a mini mic connected directly, does the camera's mic still record? Is there a setting for that?

Does the dual channel audio feature on the Ace Pro 2 only work when using a mic in bluetooth mode? Obviously the bluetooth quality is just not as good as the reciever (via usb or 3.5mm jack) so it seems they are the best options but I want to be able to get two audio tracks if possible

In fact, the control on the watch is useless as it doesn't turn on the camera remotely, does your X3 control turn on the X4 remotely? I'm going to use the camera fishing and on the nose of the kayak. Regarding the end result, i would say that the dji mic mini works really good in bluetooth in combination with the dji action 5 camera as we could see from your previous video and test. However the ace pro 2 does a bad job with both the mini as mic 2 as seen in this test. I truly wonder if any other brand microphone will work much better in bluetooth with the ace pro 2? But if you want the best audio quality in bluetooth, the dji action 5 camera is the total number 1 in todays choice and outperforms the ace pro 2. Maybe there is a firmware update possible with the ace pro 2, but i have my strong doubts if that will fix the problems.

I bought the dji camera to connect one of those mics, but how do these two standalone mics compare when connected "directly" to an Action 5 Pro (without the receiver)? 1. As for the connection, when using the Snapshot (which I use 80%) , do both mics start recording without issues? 2. The audio quality looks the same, right? (Besides the extra benefits mic2 offers) 3. A long range (more than a few meters when you can't see the mouth speaking) is not useful in my opinion, but how about stability when there is interference from obstacles? When you're moving, getting in and out of a car, behind a door, behind the kitchen counter, or just walking into the next room to get something while you record and speak? (Anything under 5-15m) Thanks for your videos, they are original and helpful.

can you still see the video preview of each camera when you have multiple cameras connect?

Yeah, I bought the mic mini system knowing very well it won't work best as a standalone bluetooth mic. I always use it with the receiver and there's been no issues; the sound quality is excellent, and the battery life and range is so great, especially for the price point. But yes, I could see people falling into the trap of buying the single transmitter only, thinking it will solve all their audio needs with non-DJI cameras, and sadly that's not the best case use.

instead of using the bag, use some pvc and a couple of elbows.

Great Video! Exactly what I was looking for, love it :) I actually noticed a difference when you where far away on the "No receiver audio" there was a strange digital background noise. Why is this happening? I was listening with headphones on.
