How to Install UNAVI Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto

0:04 Remove silver cover panel in front of armrest
0:42 Remove two screws securing shifter panel assembly
01:12 Remover shifter panel assembly
02:54 Pull radio forward
03:56 Disconnect OEM radio harness and LVDS cable
04:43 Connect CarPlay LVDS
05:42 Check for and move fiber optic cable
06:23 Connect CarPlay Main harness
07:32 Mount the Wi-Fi antenna
08:00 Remove two screws to loosen armrest door panel
08:57 Route the CarPlay USB cable
09:40 Connect the AUX cable to the AUX-to-USB and connect to OEM Usb port
10:49 Configure the dip switches
12:36 Connect the AUX cable to CarPlay Main harness
13:25 Connect the CarPlay cable to the CarPlay module
14:26 Position the CarPlay module
14:48 Test functions

I just installed this unit on my 2017 MB GLC300. Everything seems to be working fine, but realizing that when CarPlay is being used the 360 camera is not working. I have to switch back to the MB OEM screen for it to work. Backup camera works fine with CarPlay. Also, noticing poor music quality while using Apple Music through CarPlay, but Apple Music is normal through BT. Did I do something wrong-with installation or with CarPlay setting, or is this just how it is with this unit? Or, could this be a defective unit?

May I request info for an Android Carplay w/radio/navigation/back-up camera installed? Secondly, my OEM control panel is out that controls a 3, can your unit work by bypassing the out of order original?

Hello! I found one female AUX port (not connected to anything) behind the radio space. Is it normal or I unplugged something important because I do not have sound.

Hello, you would just switch over to the OEM screen to adjust A/C.
