Speed Skater Workout Circuit

  • Try this speed skater workout anywhere at anytime!
    To start, do each exercise for 20 seconds in a row with no rest between, Rest 30-45 seconds after the circuit. Repeat as many times as you wish!
    Exercises:
    1. Recovery Leg Pattern
    Notes: All pressure on to one leg, extend leg out, circle back in recovery pattern (BIG CIRCLE), bring leg through passing your knee as close to your ankle as possible. Switch legs. Make sure your knee is in line with hip and toe.
    2. Basic Position Switch Jumps
    Notes: Get your knee back behind your ankle. Keep your knee in line., Relax your shoulders.
    3.Basic Position with Small Leg Lifts
    Notes: Switching from leg to leg. Keep your hips and shoulders parallel to the ground. Make sure your core is engaged!
    4. Up-Down with Quick Taps
    Notes: Be as lite and quick as possible when tapping. Keep your shoulders down, don't let them fly up!
