I have VERY oily skin and eyelids - pretty much any non-waterproof eyeliner smudges on me at the end of the day making me looking like a panda, my eyeshadow tend to crease like crazy too even though Ive set it with powder. I recently started using gel eyepencil and eyeshadow primer (it's from elf and only costs £3) and it was a lifechanger! Really need to try your other hacks to let my eye makeup to last long!

Just to let anyone know, “Wet and Wild photofocus Eyeshadow Primer” is also a good one to use. I’ve used it for awhile now, and it keeps my eye makeup from creasing all day. I have naturally oiler eyelids and have found this primer to help a lot. It comes in a small rectangular box and the tube is white with a black lid.
Hi Smitha, I have super oily eyelids & lashes, so much so, that in last few years ( 2019, cause who did makeup in 2020 or 2021!) I found my kajal, gel eyeliner, any dayum thing I put on especially on my lower lash line, smudged down and transferred on to my skin. I will try these techniques, out as I have an event to attend to. Thank you. 🙏

An alternative to waterproof mascara is tubing mascara which never smudges even on oily lids! And it washes off very easily

Something else that has helped my oily kids is to use huda beauty matte face primer. Just a lil bit helps absorb the oil during the day.
