Recently I needed the audio to MIDI function (bass track) and faced this: the lowest notes (open B string) were simply not recognized by VariAudio. It skipped those places. 🤨 What can be done in this case? (I can add the missing notes by drawing but it would be nice to know what is causing this phenomenon.)
hi 80s,, as a suggestion,, would it be possible to transpose your bass track to have higher notes to work with,,, maybe even duplicate the bass so you have a separate track for editing that way,,,
Audio to chords, that was a new one I liked. Great tutorial :)
Very creativ use of any audio - brilliant! Thank You for these tipps.
Very good, easy to understand video.
LOVE IT!!!
Thank you, and GREAT WORK!
Great tutorial!....thanks!
This is great. Steinberg should put you on the payroll.
thank you jd,, I appreciate it,,, andrew
I used to use SampLab for Audio to MIDI, v1 was free (and still available), but they have now moved to a subscription model for v2 😞
I didn't get how you created the bass line with the live input set to Chords and only the bass notes were recorded....
thank you (Y)
It's a pity VariAudio is not polyphonic. Apparently Melodyne has a patent on it.
Scaler 2 can also import an audio file and detect the chords from it, and then you can apply all the greatness of Scaler ...
Sadly scalar is not able to set the notes into the exact same lenght as played or sung

@@TheDigitalAudioManual Thanks, I've seen a couple of posts/videos on this topic since yesterday and yes, I'll definitely try this method.👍
