I have Xterra with this exact problem and I was able to fix it after watching this video. The only thing I did different is that I put the plastic pipe to the line coming out of the car. It was easier than trying to put the copper piece to the line from the car. Copper Tube was 1/2 inch.
I had the same problem but the fix to my problem was much simpler. There was a hose on the inside of the cab down by your feet that had come disconnected. All I had to do was push the female end back into the male end.
Good to know. I see the Factory Tube goes has a tab at the other end? where does thwt tab go to? i dont see the tab in mine, Mine hanging straight down.
Finally a video that actually show it! Thanks

Need to try this as we just bought an Armada with this issue
Mine was the windshield cowl clip sockets. Gasket perished so I replaced them and siliconed around them too.

In the description, you say that a copper tube and some silicone will do the trick… Where is the silicone used?
Thank you!
@fullautocare what size the elbow an tube
How do I get that part? How much to make and ship to me?
Would the floor board be wet if the heater core is leaking instead of the condensate line dripping inside?
Yes, but you would smell coolant if it were the heater core
What size copper where you using?
My issue is more, why is it doing that at 10 years old. Thought, maybe more of a clog possibility???
